Loved the food. This is the place we visit often for chicken sandwiches and tenders. We usually get the O.G sandwich and the chicken tender. If you're looking for the O.G sandwich but in a smaller size, they do offer the little O.G which is like a standard sized sandwich. The chicken is very delicious and flavorful here and it is highly recommended! read more

I have a friend who is married to a nutritionist, so when he picks the place to eat, he favors fried chicken. Tumble 22 is one of his go-to's. The pluses of this place: The chicken is really good, both on the bone or in tenders or sandwiches. The OG sandwich is for a big stomach, be warned, but it is delicious. Nashville hot chicken has a real spectrum of heat, so work your way up until you get to the level you're comfortable with. The selection of sides are country favorites, and the broccoli salad I tried last night is the only one I didn't care for. The pies are outstanding, and they are advertised as complimentary. The minuses: The waitstaff is consistently undermanned. The group of tables we use when we go there is served by the bartender, so when the bar is busy service is slow. Likewise, they have a drive-through window and so the kitchen can get backed up. Last night, it took 20 minutes between ordering and getting our food. Finally, they have a Korean hot chicken variant, which is not very close to good Korean hot chicken and they should stick to Nashville hot. Hint: park in the adjoining lot. Most of the spaces at Tumble 22 are reserved for pick-up. read more

Your Yelper Girl checking in! T22 (as the cool kids call it) is the bomb.com when it comes to chicken bites. My husband and I have tried all spice levels and hot is our favorite. We always get the broccoli salad and the Mac and cheese is amazing. His favorite dipping sauce is the ranch and mine is the honey mustard. The piessss... yummmm!! The service is fantastic and the restaurant is clean and bright. It's kind of ridiculous how often we eat here but it's THAT good!! read more

It was a normal chicken sando tbh, nothing super special about it. I got "dang hot" but there was nothing hot about it really. The mac and cheese was fire though. It was the perfect amount of cheesy, not too salty, seasoned perfectly, and they used Cavatappi (the best pasta shape)! Service was fast and ambiance was similar to a Canes or Dave's. read more

Came here on St. Patrick's day for dinner and the drink specials and our food was amazing as per usual but the service was not the best. We ordered our margaritas before ordering our food and it took about an hour for us to get them. We had fully finished eating our food and wanted to ask our server to just cancel the drink order but we didn't see her for a long time and then she eventually brought them to us. Just wish we would've been told that they were out of ingredients and asked if we wanted to cancel our drinks or get something else instead of making us wait forever for them. read more

We went to tumble on a Friday night and it was super busy, but the food still came out in a reasonable amount of time! As the only person in my family that doesn't eat meat (poultry, beef, pork) this salad had a really tasty Caesar dressing, pumpkin seeds, and cranberries that complimented the salad very well. My only gripe is they put a absurd amount of cranberries, so if you get this - ask for light cranberries if your not a fan. The fries were the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. My fiance said the chicken was fresh and had good flavor! My kids loved their chicken as well! The frozen marg is something I could pass on but they have a full bar if you're into something else. Service was good, he checked on us very often and when we told him that it was our first time, he gave us a free slice of chocolate pie. IT WAS SO GOOD! Definitely need that to end a good meal. read more

We really enjoyed our visit to Tumble 22, y'all! We had a sudden craving for good ol' fried chicken this morning while we were in Cedar Park to lock in the deal on our new Land Cruiser at the Toyota dealership, and Hubby suggested this place. It did not disappoint! The Heavenly Eggs were just that. Just so, so good! That candied bacon is everything! Hubby went with the OG sandwich with a side of collard greens, and he loved all of it! He wasn't sure about the bread and butter pickles at first, but, after he took his first bite, he was sold! That was an incredible sammy! I went with the 1/2 Chicken with sides of mac & cheese and broccoli salad, knowing that I was definitely going to bequeath my honey most of it, as I was already full up on those insanely tasty eggs! LOL! It was all totally delicious! Crispy as all get out on the outside, with all of those good crunchy bits that are so fun to break off, and tender and juicy on the inside! It was a delectable plate of food! To top it off, they gave us a free piece of pie for it being our first time there! It's not pictured, since we crushed it ASAP! Buttermilk, in case you were curious! All in all, we really enjoyed our experience at Tumble 22, and we'll definitely come back again! read more

Early dinner at Tumble 22...we had the bone-in chicken - white and dark meat combos along with sides of collard greens, broccoli salad and ranch beans. The chicken has several levels of heat and 5 sauces (honey dipped, bbq, comeback sauce, ranch, and honey mustard). We are a little wimpy with heat so we went with painless (lowest level) and hot (next level up). Chicken was crispy outside and moist inside. All sides were great especially the greens and broccoli salad. We also had the pecan pie...no loose squishy stuff in the middle...yummy to the nth degree. Jessy our server was personable, He was attentive and super knowledgeable regarding menu items. He came to our table at right intervals. This Tumbler 22 is appears to be upgraded with modern fixtures and design. Ample seating is available inside the restaurant. Also, free parking is available to customers. Enjoyable meal... read more

Tumble 22 goes hard with the hot chicken. I had the korean style OG chicken sandwich. If I had room for two korean OG's I would have. It was that good. The thing is you need room to upgrade your fries to the szechuan fries. Trust me, neither will disappoint. The place is a casual sit down restaurant with friendly helpful staff. read more

Not great. Broccoli salad tasted like it was made with frozen broccoli. PB Choc pie wasn't sweet. Service was just ok.

****PLEASE BE CAREFUL**** We went there on a Sunday evening to get some chicken sandwiches and the loaded macaroni. Second time at this location, and was very happy with all aspects of my lunch. Got here after the regular lunch rush, only two people I could see holding down the fort (one server/hostess, one bartender). They were running the place like champs, had no issues with quality or speed of service despite the number of staff. Order/drinks came out quick, server checked on me multiple times, and I could see the bartender coming out from behind the bar working some tables as well. Food was tasty as always, but with my usual Austin dining luck, next table over had a LPGO (Loud Professional Gassing On) desperately trying to impress his companion with his boardroom exploits. Heavy sigh. So I got a meal, with a side of company gossip lol. read more

Best chicken joint in Cedar Park. One of the best happy hour deals! My family comes here at least twice a month.

First time at the Cedar Park location, and it has definitely left an unfortunate taste in our mouth. Did a substantial drive through order for Sunday football, and drove 20 minutes home before we realized none of our sides/or the 1/2 chicken order were completed correctly. The packing job was mediocre as well, not sure if dining in carries a better experience. It also took us a good while/few calls to get on the phone with the manager, who did refund us for half the order; which we did appreciate. However, the food just didn't do it justice for $50+. Disappointed for what we had hoped was a delicious addition to the game today. read more

Love me some Tumble 22! The food has never failed and I've been AT LEAST 25 times. Girlfriend got the broccoli salad side dish a couple of months ago - I was reluctant to fall for it. Whoa it's good. Mac&chz is mine and my son's usual. The wings are large, crispy and I've always been super pleased with them. Chocolate toffee pie is fantastic! Beer is cold and chilled glasses are a great touch. Service can be spotty - so I started sitting at the bar. Way more consistent service and near the tvs. I will say - the past couple of months, the restaurant is FREEEEEZING. I look around and people are either bundled up or trying to stay warm - so I always bring my hoodie with me. Place is getting a little dirty & could use some maintenance. Ceiling tiles, restroom and outside walkways are showing some usage. Otherwise, Tumble is on my weekly rotation. read more

I'm done with this spot. I loved it when it was one location and before the pandemic but now it's super average. The best limited time item was their caprese OG sandwich. Their szechuan fries are good. And their chocolate pecan pie is good. Other than that I have had little inconveniences from here that just blew me as a customer. Just yesterday I got take out from here cause I wanted a salad. I noticed black stuff smudged on some of the lettuce so I put my fork on the bottom of the container and black stuff comes back up with the fork. I moved the salad around and then I see this black stuff stuck to the bottom of the container. No clue what it was but it was kinda hard, yet could be smashed. I think that's gross and a food quality issue because you can check the container prior to adding food to it. Like I said it took a few mishaps for me to get up to this point but I definitely lost my appetite yesterday after that. read more

Genuinely the absolute worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. This twink in a purple shirt and curly hair took an eternity with everything we asked. Never brought sauce we asked for. Asked for to go boxes and he proceeded to hide in the back for what felt like 10 mins then when he finally came out with the boxes he took his sweet ass time talking to all his coworkers on his way with the to go boxes in hand. Proceeds to immediately leave doesn't even ask if we were ready for the check and ignore us for another 10-20 minutes. Then when he finally comes around and I ask for the check he snickers and says "I actually have the check in my back pocket" like I don't give a fuck just give me my fucking check so I can get the actual fuck out of there. read more

Always one of the best happy hours in town, and Nick is the best bartender in Cedar Park. The food is always stellar, the service is friendly, and the place itself is clean and fun. They got rid of the deviled eggs on the happy hour menu...(shame! The price of eggs is back to October 2024 prices, bring 'em back!) But anyway, T22 is one of my very favorite spots. The 60/40 with IPA is my favorite drink in town, it's basically perfect. The half chicken Cobb salad and the collared greens are among my favorites. And oh, that cranberry sandwich in November... read more

Yeah, that was disappointing. For having spent close to $70, including a tip. We had 3 sandwiches, all OGs: one French onion, one plain, and one Korean BBQ. I had placed the order online through the Tumble22 website. The Korean BBQ is $1 more than the regular OG, which makes sense. Until you get it. It's a tiny thigh, and none of the online information mentions a thigh. Note, the Southern explicitly calls out a thigh, which we had ordered before and never since, since it was disappointing too. Now, you would expect you to call, talk to a manager, and he says: "I am sorry, the website is confusing. I can understand that". However, the guy I talked to, claiming to be the owner, was insisting that it clearly says it's a thigh. I was apparently too dumb to read based on how he acted. So, we argued back and forth for a while, and he just did not even bother to look at the website and instead insisted it said "thigh". Eventually, we were no longer interested in a resolution, and I hung up. This is what you model as the owner of a customer-facing business? The answer should be, " I am sorry that we got that wrong. It should have said 'thigh' the way it does on the printed menu. How can I make it right?" The only reason why I give it 2 stars is that the other items in the order were actually good. Oh yes, the order was also missing the 2nd order of fries. I guess that also answers why the dining room was largely empty. That happens when private equity firms own restaurants. The food service industry has the word " service" in the term. There is a reason it's not called Food Accounting Industry or Food Margin Optimization Industry. Now, getting off my soapbox. read more

Good food. Good service. Reasonable prices. Heavenly eggs - Good! If you really like deviled eggs, you would really like these. The lil' O.G. - Good and filling. Nut allergy friendly, I didn't even ask. Review is for take-out. We ordered the O.G. Sandwich (Painless level) and Dirty Fries. It was ready pretty quickly. O.G. Sandwich (3/5): A huge, decently flavorful sandwich. I'd normally say it's a 4/5 - just too much mayo, but otherwise it was big enough that we split it among two people. However, we found some browned lettuce in it that didn't seem so fresh, which didn't help my enjoyment. Dirty Fries (4/5): A hefty amount of shoestring fries, pulled chicken, two pickles, and queso. The menu online notes that it's hot chicken but it certainly was not. There was a lot of queso, making the fries soggy very quickly. Overall, 3.5/5 rounded up for the value. read more

The food here is always really good. And they always deliver on the chicken. It's always so crispy and tender. I always find it amusing that they serve you as a sit down restaurant when the layout is of a fast food restaurant. There's something about ordering your drink, only to watch your server walk over to the open access soda fountain a few feet away and fill up the cups. One complaint I did have though, was that we ordered the 1/4 dark that comes with two sides. So we chose Szechuan fries and mac n cheese. However when the dish came out, it just had two orders of szechuan fries. When we corrected them and said it was supposed to have mac n cheese, they did eventually bring it out but they just added it on to out bill separately. In terms of food we ordered, it was correct. But it was kind of weird that they were the ones that messed up the order and we ended up paying for extra food that we didn't need. read more

Zero Stars if I were able to. Waited in drive thru for over 30 minutes. I went inside to find out where my food was. Only to find out the girl who took my order was no where to be found. The hostess was at the front who only spoke Spanish when I asked her about my food she said wait five more minutes. I asked her I need to speak to your manager. The manager Travis came out and asked what my issue was. I explained to him and he went to the back and bought my food out. Seriously it was waiting there the entire time?! Never again! he said he would comp me and patted me on my shoulder. I told him don't touch me and I walked away. This is unprofessional and unacceptable behavior! I've been to Tumble 22 on Burnet and in Round Rock and the service never disappoints. Can't say the same about the Cedar Park location. We sat in the outdoor area, checked in with the host who brought over our menus and said she'd send a server over. Saw three servers (including the manager) serve other tables even though they noticed us, and never came to take our order. Waited over 10 mins, while a couple came in and had their drinks and order taken within 2mins (the restaurant had a few tables but was not overly busy). Let the manager know and left without eating. First time eating there since about 2020 or 2021. Last time I went, there was no dine in. So things are quite different. You are now seated by a host (hostess). I ordered deviled eggs, 2 tenders (level 1 heat) with Comeback Sauce, and baked beans. Everything was really good. Deviled Eggs were very good with a piece of extra crispy, melt in your mouth bacon, tenders were fresh, hand breaded and cooked just right (with really good dipping sauce). The baked beans had the flavor and texture of beans you would get with red beans and rice (minus the sausage and rice). Really nice food and service. read more

Spicy, Crispy and Consistent! When they say hot, they mean it--this fried chicken brings the heat! I got the chicken bites with mac & cheese. The chicken was well-fried, crispy, and not too oily (4/5). The mac & cheese, however, was underwhelming--lacking flavor and a bit forgettable (4/5). That said, the overall experience makes up for it. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is pleasant with plenty of seating, and the service is top-notch--friendly and efficient. I'd definitely come back for a quick, satisfying meal! read more

Terrible service. Ordered online at 7.45 as we had frozen food in the car and wanted to grab food and go. Told it would be ready at 8.05. Arrived a little early (8.00) and were told to wait in the drive through spot. At 8.25 I went inside to see what on earth was happening only to wait another 7 mins and was then handed stone cold food. I was so annoyed I didn't even notice it was cold till I was away from the place. Clearly the food was ready but the chatty person on drive through didn't bother to bring it out. I don't know how to feel about this place. My first experience was both good and bad. My second...same. We're new to the area so maybe this is how stuff works. I pull into drive thru and order a sandwich. She tries to upsell me a side for $2. I decline bc I'm not that hungry. Order just an OG Dang Hot. I pay w a debit card and get the tip screen. Are we tipping at drive-thrus now? She tells me to pull forward. I sit there for (no lie) over 15 minutes. I guess they must making everything fresh. Can't complain. Finally get my bag and pull out. Open my box and it looks a bit burnt, but I pick it up and take a bite. First, this sandwich is MESSY. I had slaw and sauce and grease all over my hand and dripping down my arm after one bite. I reach into the bag....and there are NO NAPKINS!!! WTAF? You don't send someone out in the world with a sandwich like this and no napkins! I'll assume it was an oversight. Thankfully I had some in the car. The bun looked charred but tasted okay. The sandwich was huge. Half would have been fine, but it was also over $13 so that tracks. It was...okay. Dang Hot is two down from their hottest and it wasn't really hot. Don't get me wrong - it was spicy and warm, but not hot. I wanted hot. The sandwich itself was good, but not great. The portion was large - the chicken breast unevenly thick and heavy...but also dry. The coating was falling off of it, which was unpleasant. The slaw was just okay. Overall, it was fine but also close to flavorless, if that makes sense. It was a generous portion and satisfied my hunger but didn't wow me. I would have liked it to be a little thinner, juicier, crisper and much much hotter. Needed to be brined before frying. Anyway - this is the definition of mid. Would I go back? Probably...but not if there was a Dave's within 5 miles. Was it good value? Sure, as far as volume goes. Would I recommend it? Probably not. It was...fine. And maybe that's good enough. read more

Cedar Park outpost of this local chain and it's great. We got it to go but was still piping hot and crisp. New to the party is deboned chicken thighs that is excellent if you're in just the straight fried chicken mood. Nashville chicken is not the lightest of fair so take that into account when ordering. Tried this place because our son raves about it. Glad we took his advice and tried it. One of the best places for chicken strips. The chicken is full of flavor and very juicy. The mac n cheese is also very flavorful and seemingly made with hatch chili or something similar. I don't think the mac is spicy despite having some kind of chili pepper in it (unless you are someone who finds black pepper too spicy) Very filling! The fingers are massive, especially compared to like Cane's. Pricing is a tad steep unless you come during Happy Hour (dine in only) The servers have always been attentive and friendly.
