greens+grains bowl with braised lamb, saffron rice, pita chips. cucumber mint juice - A salad bowl containing cucumbers, corn, olives, cheese, and other vegetables on a wooden table, with a green drink and condiments in the background.

This was my first time trying Cava. I've been to Honest Mary's and wanted to try a new place and compare. Cava has more selection for toppings! The employee was very skimpy with the arugula and romaine which made the volume of bowl greens too small. Greens are not the area to skimp on. Overall, my bowl was very tasty and I ate all of it. We came during peak lunch time. I noticed one single person did not have a table available so he asked if he could share a table with other patrons.

Great for a quick bite. The line moves fast. It is easier to pick one of the items on the menu, but if you are comfortable you can build your own. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The bathrooms are gender neutral and clean.

Greens and Grains bowl, roasted eggplant, harissa, grilled chicken, roasted vegetables, tomato cucumber, fiery broccoli, skhug sauce - A salad bowl with mixed vegetables, including cherry tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, and greens, topped with green sauce, on a wooden table.

Perfect salad bowl for after work-out meal, super fresh ingredients. Everything was delicious, and there was no wait/line. My bowl was a build-your-own, food preparation table was well kept and very clean. Dining room and tables were also very clean.

I eat here 3 days a week because I love CAVA, but this to-go bowl was tight-a$$ stingy. For $15+, this ain't it. Do better. - A disposable bowl contains a Mediterranean dish with vegetables, cheese, and sauce, placed on a white table with a plastic fork.

I love Cava food but this location doesn't have great service. No smile, no eye contact, I asked the cashier for salt and was rude when he said "no salt" . The spoon and fork section were on disarray. Clean but the staff should nit be frontliners.

Very disappointed in this location. Several issues each time. This past time I got 2 pieces of chicken in my bowl...

Super yummy and fresh bowls with friendly and efficient servers. The prices are decent and they don't really skimp on serving sizes. My only complaint is that they mixed up the bases of mine and my bfs bowls. So all of my toppings were on his base. And vice versa for him. But we're both not that picky so it wasn't a big deal.

Chicken & RightRice Moi Bueno! - A bowl of Mediterranean salad featuring greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, pickled red onions, grilled chicken pieces, and dollops of hummus and yogurt-based sauce.

We have done takeout a number of times and it has always been a 5-star experience. My go-to is their Chicken & RightRice. RightRice provides a high-protein base and the chicken is grilled and spiced to perfection. I could eat a bowl of their tzatziki, really! I love this healthy lunch alternative and I've found it is the perfect post-workout meal. Plus one builds her own bowl and I am looking forward to building a bowl using their roasted white potatoes as a base on our next visit.

my bowl with a pita bread - A tray holds a salad with cheese and vegetables, a slice of pita bread, and a glass of water on a counter at a restaurant or cafe.

First of all, I am coming to the realization that CAVA may be the better Chipotle. Yada yada yada Chipotle is different ok whatever but if you are going for fast casual and want a big portion of food that actually tastes good, is mildly healthy, and is consistent, I think CAVA may be the better bet. It helps that the Chipotle in Cedar Park is right in front of the CAVA, so the comparison is easy to make. This CAVA is solid and every time I have been here, the service was friendly, the food tastes great, and the ambiance is nice. Perhaps a little less rowdy than your average Chipotle. I usually get double chicken and the lady that usually scoops it is fairly generous which I greatly appreciate. For only a couple bucks more, it hits the macros and is a tastier option in my opinion, than Chipotle. I have been to Chipotle countless times in this life and I will say that while I could eat it every day, CAVA is something I could certainly eat every day as well and switch up what I order because there are more options for things to go in the bowl. 8.5/10 would recommend, only wish their bowls were a little bigger so if there is a lid on it it's easier to mix by shaking it up.

The customer service is always amazing across all the employees, but especially the nice older guy. I have ordered their lamb gyros, which are always on point with huge servings. One of the few meals I actually like uncooked tomatoes in. The tzatziki sauce is so perky, it compliments the seasoning of the extremely flavorful and tender lamb perfectly. The Gyro Plate was one of the first "bigger" meals that I got. It tasted heavenly and was worth the extra price from the gyro wrap. It was my first experience with their hummus, which is some of the best I've ever had. I brought some home to my family because they sell tubs of hummus to go (for a similar price to what you could get at HEB, actually, and much better) and they ate it all within minutes. This has been a regular thing too. During lent I would order a lentil soup, pita, and falafel side that totaled at just under $6. This is an incredible price for how good it is. The falafels are genuinely the best falafels I have ever tried, crispy (but not hard) on the outside, and fluffy (not soggy) on the inside. Flavor was amazing. Just last week I ordered a lamb kebab plate. Folks, be prepared if you order this. This meal is HUGE. The lamb was heavenly, and I was really happy that they grilled the kebabs with some onions and peppers, really added flavor. The kebabs are made to order, so they're always fresh. Its worth the wait fellas. Come back and give this one a try if you're not rushed. Can I also mention they gave me a free soda on this one? What a nice restaurant! They're always quick except for kebabs (but give 'em the grace because its fresh cooking). 10/10 restaurant, give it a shot!

We ordered the half order falafel with hummus, mint lemonade, lamb kabob platter, and beef kabob platter. Everything but the salad came in large Texas style portions. I requested the beef be cooked to medium and the temperature was perfect. Tips: Substitute the tahini in the kabob platters for tzatziki and request garlic sauce on the side. The garlic sauce enhances the flavor of rice.

However, I'll think about coming here again because I didn't feel a good vibe with the service. We had to go look for someone to show us the table even though the place was empty for early lunch. Then, to get drinks or even the order was a problem. It took so much longer than usual. Our waitress was rude, and seemed bothered that we showed up. Then someone else came as the waitress and she was preoccupied with other tables and barely checked on us. A regular lunch which would've been one hour became almost two because of the lack of service. My friend had to stand and look for someone to give us a box to take out the good we couldn't eat because it was getting late and also to get the check because No one came in to check on us at all. It was almost like pulling teeth to get a regular service let alone good service. Again, the food was really good, and that alone was the only positive.

Thanksgiving came around and we had zero desire to cook or clean. Our "plan" (and I use that word…read moreloosely) was Golden Corral. We figured if we got there early, we'd beat the crowd. Cute of us, honestly. We pulled up and that parking lot looked like Beyoncé was performing. Cars everywhere: on the grass, on the curbs, people creating their own imaginary parking spaces. People circling like it was Black Friday. Absolutely not. We left with no backup plan and even less hope. Pulled up Yelp and I remembered that Dimassi's buffet had been on my radar for months, but was it open? Called them up and CHA-CHING!!! Money! They were open, guys. That phone call felt like hitting the lottery. Thanksgiving was saved. We arrived and Dimassi's was calm, clean, and the buffet bar was fully stocked with hot food fresh out of the kitchen. They had your Mediterranean favorites: dips, salads, gyro meat, dolma, chicken kabobs, saffron rice, the good garlicky toum, warm potatoes, fresh pita, everything. They even prepared a turkey for patrons who wanted some. Wow. They understood the assignment. Now a couple things could be tweaked. I like my baba ganoush served warm...and maybe they could have had some lamb options? But, honestly? For a buffet on Thanksgiving at $23 a person ($9 for the 3 yr old with us), they delivered HARD. Dimassi's didn't just feed us...they rescued us from the Golden Corral Hunger Games. Thank you for being open. Thank you for coming through in the clutch. You saved Thanksgiving.

Parking is plentiful right in front of the restaurant. We came by on a Saturday around 1 PM, worried it might be packed, but it was actually pretty quiet. You can sit anywhere you like, grab a plate, and pay when you're done. The space is large and open, with three full rows of food and drinks plus a dedicated station for fruit and desserts. Everything was fresh, not overly salty, and there were plenty of options. My favorites were the hummus with eggplant (so flavorful with great texture), the salad and cucumber salad (fresh and refreshing), the dolma (perfectly done), gyro (tender and tasty), baked cauliflower (so good), fried chicken (juicy, crispy, and not salty), falafel (extra crunchy), and the lentil soup (simple but delicious). And don't miss their coffee at the checkout--it has a hint of warm spice and is the perfect finish after a meal. Surprisingly, I ended up loving the vegetable dishes even more than the meats. Overall, yes, $26 per person is on the higher side (what doesn't cost these days, right?!), but it's a great spot to try a variety of Mediterranean dishes that are fresh, simply seasoned, and let the ingredients shine--perfect whether you're new to the cuisine or just want a bit of everything.

It's a quaint, small shop at the end of a strip mall, so wasn't super busy on a Friday afternoon, but food came out hot and quick. Portions will definitely keep you full. You get a grilled kofta, a super thin pita, some veg and some sauce, but it's fairly drenched and the fatty beef is flavorful and got some char, but it's heavier than what one might expect a wrap to be - that said, they have a lot of wrap options if you want something else leaner.
