The service was great, the owner was super nice. Even gave us some desserts to try. Both were great. Really enjoyed the flavors in the dishes we had. The falafel really stuck out and enjoyed how fresh it was. I'd definitely come back. My only issue with the place is the cleanliness. Counters looked semi dirty on some tables. Arrived on a Friday night with friends and while inside there wasn't many people eating dine in there were tons of pick ups. I ordered the lamb kabobs plate, they were delicious. I have been here twice and the food is always fresh! It does take a few minutes to get the food but worth it. I have seen people coming in that ordered online and they never have to wait. The space is very large and never too busy. The wait staff is always friendly and willing to help answer questions on the menu. The menus could be updated but they do have an order kiosk or someone up front to take your order. This is a popular spot for me to come when I'm craving a gyro! read more

I've wanted to visit and dine at the Kabaji Grill for the longest while. So when my daughter wanted to take me out for Father's Day this was my choice. I have been working in the Middle East for a good part of my career and this place was superb. From the very first bite of lamb (and the chicken my daughter had) I knew immediately this was authentic. The spices, the variety, the flavors, the presentation all as you might get in Dubai and the greater region. It felt like a mom & pop business as I entered and studied their menu. The place had a lot of seating inside and the guy working there was very nice. It is not fancy but define it as a food truck indoors. I ordered the Chicken Kabab Wrap and sat down to wait which was longer than usual but told everything was made fresh. This I was excited about where perhaps found the right place to dine. The kabab wrap was brought to my table on a cutting board and looked great. It was rather large wrapped in foil. Mixed plate, chicken and shawarma comes with cubes of tomato's and cucumber, hummus, lavash and basmati. The food was tasty and flavorful, but portion was relatively small for $16. Pita was hard. Me and my wife are fairly new to the area, coming from Georgetown. We've been trying to look for new places closer to our home instead of driving hungry and my wife suggested we come here! When we walked in, the ambiance of the place felt very relax, an in house experience to sit and actually enjoy your meal than rather rush out of it. And we were immediately greeted too. The gentleman who took our order walked us through what was good and stayed very patient and polite to us since this was our first time. When the food came out it was hot and fresh and ready for us to dig in, and dig in did we!! We did get the quesadillas, me Gryo and my wife the chicken one, but both were equally good, and I mean good good. The flavoring was just beautiful, the creaminess of the cheese and sauce was amazing and the meat just melts after your bite. The fries are hot and ready and extra crispy too. The fries were hot, very crispy and delicious. The menus would be better in color rather than black & white...look online for pics. Back in July, I came to this spot with a fellow Yelper to have a kiki. We came in the middle of the week after the normal lunch hour and we were the only two in the restaurant. At first glance, the restaurant seemed untidy with un-bused tables and debris on the ground, but we gave it a chance anyway. We ordered a few things just to give this place a shot. Chicken shawarma plate One of the key elements that sets chicken shawarma apart from regular grilled chicken is the marinade. The marinade typically includes a blend of spices such as cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, and cloves. This chicken shawarma was bland and lacked the punch that one comes to expect from a dish like this. Baba ganoush This appetizer is usually characterized as a smoky, rich, and creamy eggplant dip, traditionally made by mixing tender roasted (or charred) eggplant and nutty tahini with garlic, citrus, and spices. Well, this had eggplant but unfortunately the earthness was missing. This left much to be desired. Gyro Quesadilla With Fries Greek gyro quesadillas are generally full of Mediterranean flavors, served warm with melted cheese like a Mexican quesadilla. These were not that. These had a chipotle sauce in the place of the standard Mediterranean Romesco, Toum, etc. which made for a nice surprise but underwhelming as there was nothing other than the meat, cheese and sauce. I realize these ingredients are usually the standard for quesadillas but there was no 'Greek Pico' (I just made that up but the way, not sure if Greek Pico is a "thing"), etc. At the price point of $14.00, I can't recommend ordering this. Dolmas- Dolmades are a food you will find in many variations in every area of Greece and in every season. The name 'dolma' has been borrowed by the Greeks from the Turks, however the food itself stems from ancient Greece. Fun fact: In ancient Greece, dolmades were called 'Thria' -- and were made with tender fig leaves! This appetizer was by far the star of the afternoon as they had a soft texture and a flavor that's was both tangy and citrusy, similar to lemon zest. These pair excellent compliment to tzatziki sauce but unfortunately, I didn't have any for these but the dish did not require any sauce as it could stand on its own. Perhaps I came to this location on an off day. Overall, this visit was fairly underwhelming and based upon this showing, it is unlikely I shall return. read more

We had a small issue with our order. He completely rectified it no problem. Came up with a positive and understanding solution. We paid a bit more but it was not a problem. I'm currently at their Eid buffet and they truly went all out to make it a special celebration, from the festive decor, countless menu options and kind staff. The food is actually full of flavor and effort rather than how lackluster some buffet items can be. The restaurant is wonderfully busy even at this hour which only adds to the ambience. We go to a buffet every Eid and this felt like the best one yet in our two years here. Now I'm not sure how often they do buffets but I really hope it's more often! Stopped there on a whim for lunch since I really do like Mediterranean food. I got the lamb plate. The people were very nice but I felt that the dish was a solid B minus. The pita bread was not fresh. The hummus was over mixed and tasted a little processed, too smooth for me, and could use more tahini maybe some lemon and garlic. The rice was boring and the cucumber mixed salad that comes with it tasted like it had been sitting around a while, which surprised me considering that I was there at lunch time. The lamb was okay but not spectacular or as juicy as I had hoped, and the portion size was a little small. I felt the price was good and the atmosphere was fine but yes, a little disappointed in the food. I'd probably try again because they could have just been having an off day. I do have to say the 2 times we ordered chicken, it was dry both times, maybe try to cut the chicken with a different technique to hold its moisture?? The way it's cut off the "spit" or how it's similar to gyro meat, it's just so thin and dry . We do love the fresh cucumber salad in the plates, and the sauces! Plenty of seating here.
