On a recommendation from a friend my wife and I went for lunch yesterday. I'm so glad we did! For appetizers we tried the baba ganoush and falafel. Both were really flavorful. The baba ganoush was super creamy and slightly smoky - perfect! We split the combo meat over rice, choosing chicken shawarma and kofta kabob. The chicken consisted of little shavings spread over the rice. It was slightly dry, though flavored nicely. Still quite good. The kofta kebab, though, was the highlight. Ever so slight crunch on the outside, moist and juicy inside with a wonderful aromatic, spiced flavor. Service was attentive and helpful. Very sweet young lady. I don't remember the time we went - maybe on the late side for luch. There was ample seating, which surprised me given the quality. I feel like we stumbled on a gem here. We had a nice dinner at Alassin. The interior is welcoming, modern and bright. Live soccer game was playing on the TV during dinner time. Our order of falafel puts wrap and chicken shawarma hummus platter were tasty and filling. It took a while for the server to take our order so that time can be improved. read more

Overall, our experience at this restaurant was very average. The drinks were disappointing and did not seem fresh. As shown in the picture, the mint garnish appeared old and possibly spoiled, which immediately affected our impression. For the appetizer, we ordered the falafel. While I can't say for certain, it seemed like it had been pre-fried and simply reheated before being served rather than made fresh. The texture and taste did not give the impression of freshly prepared food. The main course was quite good and enjoyable overall, with decent flavor and quality. However, what really took away from the experience was the atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant. There were flies everywhere, especially around our table, and it was not just one or two. The constant presence of flies made the dining experience uncomfortable and raised concerns about cleanliness. Came here for lunch on a Sunday and there was ample seating available. This place is big with plenty of seating available and a separate part room. They have a fairly extensive menu with all the staples of a Mediterranean restaurant. We ordered a Beef Shawarma and a Gyro Plate, and it was all brought out about 15 minutes later with complimentary naan. The food is delicious here and the naan they provided wasn't too bad. Generally speaking, the food was a bit dry but very flavorful. This place has a nice, comfortable atmosphere with music typically associated with the Middle East. There's a lot of parking out front as the restaurant shares a lot with other businesses in the plaza. read more

The food is so delicious here! The chicken shawarma with jalapeño sauce is one of the best dishes in any cuisine that I've ever eaten.

I had noticed a new restaurant opened up in buttercup Creek Plaza. I figured it was another Mexican restaurant that would go under within the year. To my surprise, it was Aladdin's Halal Grill, I knew it was not gonna take me long to get there. The next day, coming home from my medical appointment I stopped there as a treat for lunch. Unfortunately, it was kind of deserted except for me and the workers. With such great food and reasonable prices, more people should stop by at lunch and relax. The menu is online and they have a QB code in the restaurant where you order off their app . I started off with some stuff grape leaves and a chicken Shawarma Arabi wrap. With stuffed grape leaves, I'm very particular. These were fabulous. I am guessing they were vegan perfectly cook rice mixed with herbs and tightly packed in the leaves. It was served with some garlic sauce. Truthfully, I could've ordered two portions of that and had it for lunch and I would've been perfectly happy. Then came the chicken wrap, and it was packed with chicken. No skimpy portions here. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The Arabi wrap only comes with the protein, pickles, and a garlic sauce. And it was just what I wanted tasting the chicken, pickles are not too tart. Oh, I forgot the best part the beverage. I wanted the tamarind drink. One of the owners convinced me to try their Mojito. I agreed but told them I didn't like sour I like the tamarind. He made a special Tamarind Mojito for me. This drink blew me away. It was so refreshing on a hot humid day. Next time I eat in, I will order it again. I came a few more times, but just for takeout. Their baba ghanoush is so delicious. I also had just the regular chicken Shawarma wrap that came with lettuce and tomato on it. Each time I picked up another batch of stuffed grape leaves so you know they are that good . Then again, this is my preference. It's not spicy food, but it is flavorful food. Oh, and their decor is gorgeous. I would say I am going to come back, but I have already gone back and plan on going many more times. read more

We have been looking for a great Gyro since moving to Texas eight years ago and; We think we have found it! Ordered the basic Gyro Wraps to go from Aladdin Halal Grill on Buttercup Creek in Cedar Park and we had two bites (wife & I) then looked at each other and both said at once: "We Finally Found IT!" Growing up in Chicago we were accustomed to first-rate Gyros at many small "Mom & Pop" shops in every neighborhood but could never find any decent ones here in Cedar Park, Texas. Until now! Generous portion of great Gyro meat, obviously had sliced, perfect mix of veggies and the Taziki (forgive spelling error) was Spot On! Pita was also perfect! Not too thick and doughy but thick enough to hold all the Goods and not overpower them. Just the right mix of flavors! If you are craving a Great Greek-Style Gyro, this is the place! And the price is not too shabby either for the size! So glad we found our "Go-To" Gyro Place so close to home! read more

Bonus We came in and were met with really nice seating and atmosphere. Our service was so -so. Maybe I was expecting more, but a guy showed us his phone with a QR code to see the menu. Look. Not sure what I was expecting. We ordered kofta plate, beef schwarma over rice and gyro wrap. The meat was good. Both other meals were good and lots of food. More than enough for sure. I usually go to Almarah on the other side on 620 for good Mediterranean food. Been wanting to give this place a try since it recently opened up. Went there on Saturday afternoon for lunch and there was nobody in there. One girl working. Place is huge with fancy decor. We ordered Falafal, baba ganoush for apps and I ordered chicken gyro wrap while my buddy ordered cheesesteak. Food tasted good, ambiance was great. My only complaint is portion size is very small. Falafel was served hot and spiced to perfection- complimentary to the food without overpowering it or failing to enhance the dish. Gyro and chicken wraps were stunning and filling. I went to Aladdin Halal Grill with my wife and baby. We placed our order, but before the food even arrived, the restaurant started smelling like cigarette smoke. It was very uncomfortable, especially with a baby. We ended up leaving the dining area and waited outside for our food as takeout. What made it worse is that the people smoking were actually sitting at the same table as the owner, which made it feel like this was tolerated. The food itself was good, but a restaurant environment should always be smoke-free. For families and anyone who values a clean dining experience, this was really disappointing. read more
