Ummm this is deeeelicious. We came at 1 on a Wednesday and there were a couple of trailers open in addition to this one. They were out of baba ghanouj, which was a bummer, but I'll be back to try it. There were some guys working on a construction project and yelling back and forth which has nothing to do with the trailer or the food, but it's probably pretty peaceful when they're not there. OMG is this place gold. I have been looking for a place up north that serves big ass delicious portions of chicken and rice the way ATX Shawarma does. And finally I found it! I walked in and ordered the chicken over rice (popular among the regulars) and I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. And the prices are ridiculously low, like the lowest I've encountered for this dish (and at this size)! One of my favorite little gems in ATX! As someone who goes to Austin for a lot events, like concerts and plays, this is one place we came to as they were open late at night. Little did I know that one night of trying to find something quick and easy, would easily turn into one of my favorite places to eat in Austin! Their food is just as fantastic as their customer service! They are patient and helpful, when it comes to ordering, not the mention they seem to have deals on their food as the last time we went there was a discount on the order due to paying with cash which was neat! The last two times we went this year they gave us sodas with our meals, complementary! It's so nice to see such a selfless place in the community that has such 5 star quality food. Speaking of the food, fantastic! I've only had their combination plate over rice, and gyro plate over rice, as as someone who wants to try everything on their menu, it's so hard when you try a dish that's too good to not continue to get each time you go haha! Their falafel is the perfect amount of spiced, and their naan bread is to die for ! The plates are hefty, and when I go with someone we usually order our own but now wonder if we should just get one due to how plenty and hefty the order is! I ordered 20 pieces of falafel on a bed of lettuce and the man tried to charge me and also tried to give me something I did not want and then I went on a price of charge more than I wanted to pay for and I had to tell him to take some of it off because that's not what I asked for and that's the second time they tried to do that to me. Try to convince me I need to buy more than I really wanted. They do have a lot of walk-ins all the time because they're open till 12 AM which is the next morning but still at this point it was a mop going through the floors and all the tables were empty except one other table was sitting in man , lots of walk-ins at late night. They do a lot of deliveries for Uber eats so it's a lot of pick ups from other people. so the order was ready within 5 to 10 minutes and I picked it up and he yelled at me saying excuse me across the room. so let's see how the food is today. Hopefully there is no brown lettuce and it's not for the fourth time the lettuce that is soft and not fresh this time the man did not give me any sauces that is white or red last time which been the third time they gave me red sauce and the white sauce. So this time, the man after arguing with me, did not even offer me sauce, and I still have brown lettuce and I have two containers of falafel's like this. read more

Incredible out of the world chicken over rice. My hubs and I landed in Austin airport at late night and were super hungry. We doordashed from here. I recently found this place to be my on the go food. Tucked all the way in the far corner in the shopping center, the food here is really good. I have only got chicken over rice here and it is full of flavor and amazingly the prices are super low for the food they serving. Employee's are super nice and helpful. A very interesting chain that serves Mediterranean and Indian food which I didn't realize until I stepped inside. I went for Mediterranean since it was what I was craving based on 'Halal' I was assuming it would be similar to Halal Bros. I went for the lamb shawarma wrap and it was fairly priced, overall the wrap was good, could of used a bit more meat and less dressing. It was overly dressed and was messy to eat. We stopped by after finding this place searching for food nearby. So glad we did! It's not fancy, but was clean. You go up front to order and they have Mediterranean food and some Northern Indian items. I got a falafel wrap, my husband got gyro over rice and kid got chicken over rice. All were great. My falafels were perfect. Not dry or gritty like a lot of places. The pita was fresh and soft, veg was fresh. We will definitely return. The guy at the register was helpful. This place is easily one of the most incredible food spots in the Austin area. We order here once a week. The combination wrap is like holding heaven, a blissful afterlife, in your hands. Made a return visit yesterday and it was still as good as the first time. I got a #1-Chicken Over Rice with the sauces (red & white) on the side and I also requested to add some red onion to my side salad. The white sauce is my favorite. If you get the sauce on the side I recommend asking for a minimum of 2 cups for your plate as there's very little sauce in the cup. Just my thoughts lol. Definitely give them a try! read more

So I had no idea this place was open late. I definitely had no idea this hole in the wall would be so good. I had probably the most tender chicken and gyro meat I have had in a long time. The rice was well seasoned, however there are some spice pieces flying around that I could live without. I order quite a bit of food and I only waited 20 minutes. The Mango Lassi-perfect. The special Chaat thingy- Literally the best Indian version of a Shepards pie I have ever had. Super well balanced. The Vegetable curry was perfect in consistency flavor and spice. Samosas we're well done. Very standard. Good. The surprise hitter here was the homemade donuts, the homemade baba ganoosh, and the homemade tabooleh. Arguably the best baba ganoosh. Gurus they are indeed. I love me some halal plates because they're always a lot of great tasting, fresh food that doesn't break the bank (especially in these times). I used to work by the one down south and would frequent that one, so when I moved north, glad to find this nearby too. It's got very much a hole in the wall feel but don't let that distract you from ordering. I always get the gyro or combo over rice. Flavorful grilled meat, spiced basmati rice and a little salad with a generous amount of that white sauce. The red spicy sauce is definitely not something to mess with but they give you plenty of that on the side too. They also have a lot of Indian street foods like vada pav that I didn't know they had until i walked in. Definitely want to come back for some of that. read more
