After tasting the food I was extremely happy about having a solid Indian option in Pflugerville. But that all changed when I went to get the second round of the Thursday dinner buffet. The restaurant owners need to acknowledge the uncleanliness in the restaurant. I'm saying this because I had to knock off a small cockroach before it almost jumped into the Sambar buffet tray. I was like ok whatever at least it didn't jump into but then minutes later what do I see?? A giant rat climbing the tv wire near the entrance and into the ledge below the ceiling. That was the last straw. I don't think I will ever be back here unfortunately but I hope for the sake of the restaurant they get some pest control and mitigate the issues read more

Very solid experience! Nutella dosa was tasty and although it was on the kids menu a great little snack to start with. I also liked the hot and sour soup. The chicken tikka and butter chicken were creamy and delicious, great portions, fluffy basmati rice. The garlic naan was crispy, yet fluffy, great flavor, and just such a solid meal. The mango lassi deserves its own description, definitely the best mango lassi I've ever had, and in the discussion for one of the best drinks I've tasted. I will be thinking about this drink for so long, it was thick, creamy, flavorful, but not too rich or overpowering. Very extensive menu with plenty of options, service was very good too. Fantastic find in Pflugerville. The restaurant is clean bright and comfortable. The host was lovely and helped us go through the menu with suggestions and clear descriptions. The food is absolutely delicious and very very fresh!!! I have a pretty good heat/spice tolerance and I found it highly spiced and fragrant. You might ask for light spice if you're more delicate. We had two lunch boxes, one veg and one not, to sample more offerings, I cannot recommend it highly enough. What magic they do to that cauliflower. Crisp outter coaster without being heavily battered, and tender delicious, perfectly cooked inner. The dal was flavored magnificently. Often it's a sad pile of peas. Not here. The buttered naan that came along was thin and chewy and crisp at the same time and we had enough to take home. The chicken was tender and highly spiced. The potatoes perfectly soft yet managed to not fall apart. Fresh samosas were shatteringly crisp with a fluffy tasty potato filling. The portions are huge even by Texas standards. My husband and I came on a Sunday afternoon at around 2pm thinking we avoided the lunch rush. We were wrong!! The place was packed and it took about 20min to get seated. The wait was definitely worth it. Inside is well ventilated with Bollywood music vids in the back. We ordered a Dosa, Butter Chicken, and Thali. The Thali (veg and non-veg) is available on weekends and is UNLIMITED with dessert included. For $17.99, it's such a good deal! Had we known, we would have just ordered the Thali. THE BIG: Delicious Indian food in Pflugerville! Located right off of Pecan rd and inside a shopping center. Plenty of parking in the lot however when it gets crowded inside, it is a cluster. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with the wife on a Sunday afternoon and it was PACKED. Fortunately the weather was good outside but it took us a solid 30 minutes to get seated. When we sat, our table wasn't cleared off yet. Fortunately where the soft product lacked, the hard product (food) was amazing. We got the butter chicken, dosa, mango lassi and a thali. The thali is a great deal as it's only on the weekend and it's unlimited refills with dessert included! The dosa was as big as my forearm. Very nice! Wow! Indian food lovers - eat here! Spicy food lovers - definitely eat here. I love spicy food and have a high tolerance and a few of the dishes here made me sweat - and I liked it! We tried: -masala fish fry (medium is how it comes) - very tasty with a pleasing curry flavor. I'd get this again! (See photo) - green chili fish (spicy) - this was a little spicier than the masala fish and was made with a special South Indian pepper so I wanted to try it. Try squeezing some lime on it! I'd get this again! (See photo) - Goat seekh kabob (no spice level - it came as it did). This was spicy! The raita that came with it was also delicious and spicy. The seekh kabobs were fat and delicious but definitely not for the faint of heart. This may have been the spiciest dish of the night. I would recommend this if you like spicy food. - Mutton Sukka (ordered medium). This was the least spicy dish of the evening and it was still spicy enough to enjoy. It was large chunks of bone in goat meat with tender meat attached. It wasn't swimming in gravy but slightly wet (like a Buffalo wing). It came with a small portion of white rice. This was a flavorful and satisfying dish and we enjoyed it. I would order this for those who don't enjoy mouth burning spice though I bet you could get this one spicy too! - We also ordered 1 Peshwari naan. So unique. It was naan that had pistachios and dried fruits baked into the naan. It wasn't too sweet either - just a nice surprise in your mouth. You should try it! We also ordered tandoori roti. It was thicker than a regular roti (tortilla) but thinner than naan. It was a good "no flavor" bread to sop up the flavorful food. I do not enjoy Indian food in Austin. I'm from Houston and just think it has historically been subpar here but this place was great! Again, the spice level is there so if you don't enjoy spicy, ask them what they can make mild. Let me wipe the sweat off my face first. We ordered through Uber Eats so I can't speak for the ambiance. The dishes were well packaged and well temp. I know I wasn't going to give any cons to what we ordered, but the spice level was making us fire breathing. No option or comments on the menu stating what we ordered was filled with very spicy peppers. The flavors was a 10/10. This feels like what maybe an Indian college canteen would feel like - really basic and simple breakfast food served in large quantities. I know many people highlighted the spice level here and to each their own, of course. I didn't expect a buffet to be served with such incredibly unbearable spice levels. I would recommend making the food medium level and providing extra chili options for those who enjoy it more spicy. Or you're limiting your customer base because I couldn't return. Communication was challenging. But I can see a well-played business idea here - $11 for all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, serving upma, pongal, idli, vadai and made-to-order plain or onion dosas. I hope they improve the execution and continue on. The "Irani" chai was a huge disappointment though -- certainly not worth paying $3.25 for a tiny cup of pure sugary water. But that was in the past it has been 6 months or so, it was late and Craving some curry but didn't want to go far because it would be closed by that time. Got in just in time for last order, first order: ghee masala dosa xtra crispy!! The side chili with ghee... chef's kiss. Apollo fish, crispy fried than toast in a red tomato base sauce. Andra chicken, we got spicy which was more like medium, Dark meat chicken, brown gravy curry was ok, goat pulav was flavorful, lots more bones than meat. Bullet naan was good, soft fluffy crispy edges. Spicy spread was nice and even. Over all thoughts, it was good we would come again. We are new to Pflugerville and have been wondering where our go-to Indian restaurant might be. Indian Cravings was a delightful surprise for our family. We rolled in with some friends and brought with us the challenge of four small children. The staff didn't bat an eye and gave us plenty of room and patience. We ordered double chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, goat biryani, veggie korma and a bunch of garlic naan. There was not a bummer in the bunch, though I always wish for more chicken in my tikka masalas. The veggie korma and goat biryani were my fav. We will DEFINITELY be back! read more

Last night was our first time to try Indian Cravings after reading a few other reviews--it was SO GOOD, and we will definitely be coming back. We got onion samosas, chicken 555, some hot & sour soup, and shrimp briyani, and some jalapeno bread (bullet naan I think it was called??). I had never had onion samosas, and the were delicious--they had some sort of chaat powder on them that really made them stand out. The chicken 555 came out freshly fried, super crispy, and the flavor was outstanding. The shrimp briyani was also amazing--the rice was delicious and the shrimp were perfectly cooked--not gummy--just right. The gentleman working there gave us a breaded chili garnished with the same things as the samosas, and those were lovely as well. The spice level was good for me, but we like spice--I would say it was maybe a 3.5 out of 5, but I did ask for them to go a little lighter as I was not in the mood for a butt-kicking last night. :). Needless to say, we will most certainly be coming back here to try other dishes. read more

My favorite was the curry. I wasnt too fond of the tandoori chicken but it was still good. The paneer butter dish could be a bit more flavorful. We recently visited the restaurant for Thursday Dosa / Poori unlimited special (NOT a buffet). As a result you get freshly made choice of Dosa and Poori and they are not sitting around. They were hot, crispy and fresh. All chutneys were very good. I would only state that there is room for improvement on the potato curry. The service is efficient, courteous and friendly. We do not experience that in all Indian restaurants. They have done a great job renovating previous site and now it is bright and energetic; overall very good ambiance.
