My husband and I came on a Sunday afternoon at around 2pm thinking we avoided the lunch rush. We were wrong!! The place was packed and it took about 20min to get seated. The wait was definitely worth it. Inside is well ventilated with Bollywood music vids in the back. We ordered a Dosa, Butter Chicken, and Thali. The Thali (veg and non-veg) is available on weekends and is UNLIMITED with dessert included. For $17.99, it's such a good deal! Had we known, we would have just ordered the Thali. Everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

THE BIG: Delicious Indian food in Pflugerville! Located right off of Pecan rd and inside a shopping center. Plenty of parking in the lot however when it gets crowded inside, it is a cluster. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with the wife on a Sunday afternoon and it was PACKED. Fortunately the weather was good outside but it took us a solid 30 minutes to get seated. When we sat, our table wasn't cleared off yet. Fortunately where the soft product lacked, the hard product (food) was amazing. We got the butter chicken, dosa, mango lassi and a thali. The thali is a great deal as it's only on the weekend and it's unlimited refills with dessert included! The dosa was as big as my forearm. Very nice! THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall the damage done here for the plates was around $55. Great food and I'll definitely be back to try more of their dishes.

Wow! Indian food lovers - eat here! Spicy food lovers - definitely eat here. I love spicy food and have a high tolerance and a few of the dishes here made me sweat - and I liked it! We tried: -masala fish fry (medium is how it comes) - very tasty with a pleasing curry flavor. I'd get this again! (See photo) - green chili fish (spicy) - this was a little spicier than the masala fish and was made with a special South Indian pepper so I wanted to try it. Try squeezing some lime on it! I'd get this again! (See photo) - Goat seekh kabob (no spice level - it came as it did). This was spicy! The raita that came with it was also delicious and spicy. The seekh kabobs were fat and delicious but definitely not for the faint of heart. This may have been the spiciest dish of the night. I would recommend this if you like spicy food. - Mutton Sukka (ordered medium). This was the least spicy dish of the evening and it was still spicy enough to enjoy. It was large chunks of bone in goat meat with tender meat attached. It wasn't swimming in gravy but slightly wet (like a Buffalo wing). It came with a small portion of white rice. This was a flavorful and satisfying dish and we enjoyed it. I would order this for those who don't enjoy mouth burning spice though I bet you could get this one spicy too! - We also ordered 1 Peshwari naan. So unique. It was naan that had pistachios and dried fruits baked into the naan. It wasn't too sweet either - just a nice surprise in your mouth. You should try it! We also ordered tandoori roti. It was thicker than a regular roti (tortilla) but thinner than naan. It was a good "no flavor" bread to sop up the flavorful food. I do not enjoy Indian food in Austin. I'm from Houston and just think it has historically been subpar here but this place was great! Again, the spice level is there so if you don't enjoy spicy, ask them what they can make mild. They have a HUGE menu! Please like my review and photos if you find them helpful! P.S. There's a Yelp check-in offer (but I forgot)!

Let me wipe the sweat off my face first. We ordered through Uber Eats so I can't speak for the ambiance. The dishes were well packaged and well temp. I know I wasn't going to give any cons to what we ordered, but the spice level was making us fire breathing. No option or comments on the menu stating what we ordered was filled with very spicy peppers. The flavors was a 10/10. Please do yourself a favor don't forget to add to your order the egg dish and the size of the naan was HUGE! Just ask if you could control the heat bc some dishes was almost unbearable.

Midweek surprises always make us extra happy! @austin_indiancravings has brought a midweek unlimited tiffin buffet for only $13.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids! And also, the timing is perfect! It starts from 6 pm ( after office) to 9:30 pm and the list is wholesome Also, we had chicken and paneer kathi roll with their special Irani chai.. and my evening was sorted! Basically we had visited two days, so I added two of my feedbacks :) The USP is, their food is not dipped in so much oil! I, personally, loved their food for that! The staffs are very polite and cooperative! We are planning to visit their place again! Indian Cravings: 15803 Windermere Dr #206, Pflugerville, TX 78660 Please note : They have different time schedules to take orders : Monday - Friday : 11:00 am - 3:00 pm & 5:30 pm - 10pm Saturday : 11:00 am - 10:30 pm Sunday : 11:00 am - 9:30 pm Please visit accordingly!

Finally found a good Indian restaurant. We tried the non veg lunch box and masala rava dosa with mango lassi. And everything was delicious. Their menu is endless and they have their own pastries and ice creams. The ambience is decent and the service is great. All in all I am impressed. Their prices are also reasonable. We will definitely return to try rest of the menu! Do not miss on this one!

Lunch Drop is my go-to for new places and new flavors. I had never enjoyed anything like either of these dishes. There was 'way too much food for one person. The lovely red nuggets are cauliflower. The sambar rice is very like a dal with rice rather than lentils, and thoroughly delicious. I hope Indian Cravings thrives: no leaky packaging, fabulous interesting menu items and my lunch was still hot when it arrived. Spice levels are S Asian, for sure: I asked for the 2nd of 4 levels (usually not quite spicy enough) and it was perfect, perfect, perfect.

    Apollo fish

Wow. I am glad i gave them a second try. My first time here was very disappointing. We ordered the Thali non veg and it came out skimpy the meats were cold, curries were not flavorful. Ordered Naan also but it didn't come out until we finished our food. But that was in the past it has been 6 months or so, it was late and Craving some curry but didn't want to go far because it would be closed by that time. Got in just in time for last order, first order: ghee masala dosa xtra crispy!! The side chili with ghee... chef's kiss. Apollo fish, crispy fried than toast in a red tomato base sauce. Andra chicken, we got spicy which was more like medium, Dark meat chicken, brown gravy curry was ok, goat pulav was flavorful, lots more bones than meat. Bullet naan was good, soft fluffy crispy edges. Spicy spread was nice and even. Over all thoughts, it was good we would come again. Didn't even got to try their dessert, which looks so good.

    Mostly eaten lunch - yum

I tried the Ulavacharu soup--absolutely delicious. It's main ingredient is horse gram, which apparently is in the legume family. It wasn't like any soup I've had before, so description is a bit tough. It was fairly spicy to start with, but less so as I kept eating it. The only things I could identify was ground up horse gram, some sweet onions, and some thinly shaved ginger, but it had a lot of complexity. Highly recommend that and the rose milk (especially if you need some relief from the spiciness when you start out.) I had a little bit of my friend's butter chicken sauce, and that was excellent too. More heavily tomato-based than I'm used to, but a lot of depth of flavor. I'd happily order that in the future. I can't wait to come back and try their buffet when my diet restrictions are over :) Service was great. I asked if a few of the menu items have coconut in them since I'm allergic, and our server double checked with the kitchen for me and was very nice about it. Really pretty dining room as well. The location isn't as central as I'd like, but that does make it easy to find parking in the lot. Definitely recommend!

They had a clean and neat interior with a welcoming atmosphere. Our food came out quickly after ordering. The food was super hot so be careful not to burn yourself. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Channa Masala are tasty! Choose your spice level on a scale of 1-5. We got #3 for medium, which had good heat without being overpowering. Love all the different spices that gave much depth. Both curries were super flavorful, so a small scoop on top of your given rice goes a long way. The Garlic Naan had some subtle garlic flavor and you can see real bits of garlic on top. Would have liked a stronger garlic flavor. Nice flakiness though. It's a shame too, especially because the food is decent. Packed with flavor, aromatic, and satisfying. The beverages (when you get them) are okay, and the pitcher of lukewarm water will not be poured for you because nothing says "fine dining" like inattentive waitstaff. If you're expecting a "fine dining" experience in a strip mall, set your expectations to somewhere between a marginally reputable fast food chain and eating a can of whole chicken cracked open with a rock, spear, and sprinkled with a dash of hard luck. Mmmmm.... classy! Oh! Customer service doesn't matter to you? Then you'll loooove this place. No interest in the waitstaff actually taking your order in a timely fashion? This is the spot for you. Overpriced meals served in piecemeal to a 3 top, appetizers served well after one entre is nearly finished while the other two meals are still likely being staged? Is that to your liking? Get yourself to Mama Bros where your time and money will be flushed down the toilet! Oh, but wait... The best part of your experience will be the menu. Wow! How incredibly inefficient and confusing it is! Don't let the QR code fool you into thinking your menu will make sense; just ride that long scroll to the very bottom where you can order takeout meals and then scroll all the way back up to somewhere over the rainbow. What a journey! So, yeah, that's what you're in for. How can this place improve? Maybe try shutting down permanently and trying again elsewhere. That would be a strong start.

There were barely any people on a Saturday night which made us feel a little apprehensive after stepping in. The restaurant was dimly lit and restrooms were dirty. Comments for individual dishes: Vada pav - Not served with Mumbai pav but slider buns which is as unauthentic as can be. Sabudana vada - Crispy, tasted good, served with sweet yogurt. Pithla bhari - The worst I have ever had. Pithla was too runny, bhakri was downright stale/unedible. Pomfret fry - Fish skin was burnt, but taste was better than some of the other dishes. Puran poli - It was super thin, barely any puran filling and seemed to have been served after quick heating rather than fresh, the edges were unedible. Saoji chicken curry - Too much garam masala Triple Schezwan fried rice - This was the best dish among all those we ordered. It was served with manchurian gravy. I think the default is you should never order burgers for delivery and I'm going to start with that. We got 2 buddah burgers regular and small, fries and they gave us some chicken tenders. SCORE! Again this was a delivery order so the review is based on this specific experience. Initial bites in everything , flavor is bursting. Good quality beef , not super fatty (which I love- only want a greasy burger if it's thin), the quality of Ingredients over all were great. I think if I had gotten the burger without cheese and no lettuce I would have enjoyed it more. The melted cheese texture with the soggy lettuce did not last the trip, and I felt like they took away from the burger overall. The sauce was quite good it reminded me of a cross between egg salad and potato salad. The fries I think had like gochujan powder or something were good but if I had it fresh would probably have enjoyed more. Initial bite of tenders were really good but after bite 2 it was like too much bullion in the batter. But in a samich with some coleslaw to cut through the salt I think it would have been great. The only problem I had with the meal overall was the sodium level which had me feeling kinda bloated and sick (could have been from driving and eating a salty spicy chicken earlier). But I will definitely give it another shot and I would go in person for sure it's not a delivery type item and I would probably tweak my burger or samich a bit.

As we walked in, we were surprised to see a pretty long line. Mere seconds later, the entire line dissipated because it was all delivery drivers. The amount of DoorDash and Uber Eats orders coming out of Buddha Burger is insane, and for a burger joint, they seemed pretty on top of getting orders out in a timely manner. My buddy placed his order first, getting the California Classic and their Chocolate Toffee Cookie. I ordered the Big Buddha with their poutine purely out of curiosity. In about 10 minutes, both of our orders were ready. Inside the gas station, there is one large kitchen island style table where everyone can sit. The Big Buddha was good. It didn't wow me by any means, but it was solid. I think the hype around it being the best smash burger in the area led to some disappointment because it was fine. It didn't make me melt or blow my taste buds away. The California Classic my buddy ordered was also good, but nothing extreme. As for the poutine, I do not see myself ordering it again. Ever. The cheese curds were not as melty as I would hope, even with hot gravy poured on top, and by the time we got to it, the fries were completely soggy and lacked any crispness. I know poutine is inherently soggy, but this just did nothing for me. Maybe I'm not a poutine guy and that could be on me, but I'm just being honest. Neither of us cared for it. We split the cookie, which was huge but toothpick thin. We both thought it was okay, but a little too sweet. Not worth ordering again. We decided to dine in because I think food is best eaten immediately after it's ready. While waiting, we watched the kitchen operate and it honestly felt like a new hire was being berated at every given moment. The staff seemed to be working like they were under Carmy from The Bear. As someone just sitting and waiting for food, it felt awkward to witness and made me a little uncomfortable. I know most of their business comes from delivery apps so this probably isn't seen often, but for a place called Buddha Burger, there was no awakened state from the staff. There was no peace and no compassion. It felt weirdly hard-ass while we were there. I hate feeling lied to by a social media video. I've become weary of most especially if they get special treatment and don't talk about the plus and minuses. Everything is a lie these days. At least they didn't put generative AI in the burgers. I'll drive for good food, but the 20 minute trip didn't make this feel totally worth it. The burgers are good, but nothing exceptional, especially at the price point. If I lived closer, I'd probably return, but I don't have a strong urge to come back. Still, it's worth a shot. RIYL: Smash burgers in ten minutes or less.
