    Italian sandwich

A different and delicious take on the sandwich. The pluses for me are the toasted bread and the homemade giardinera which I have not found elsewhere in Austin. Prices are on the higher end but the sandwiches are well made. Recommended.

OVERVIEW: 3.5/5 rounded up to 4. Points for a great menu, quick and casual service, and a clean and open dining space. A bit on the pricier side as far as sandwiches go, but quality ingredients. Note that all the sandwiches are toasted. Adding chips and a drink is an extra $4+. Overall I enjoyed the sandwich but nothing really stood out other than the expansive menu. QUICK FACTS: - Parking? Yes, located in a center with other restaurants and businesses. - Takeout? Yes, you can order to-go or ahead of time. - Vegetarian options? Yes, as well as a kids' menu. FOOD RATINGS: - The Farmer (4/5): Pretty decent. Love the combo of turkey, bacon, and egg salad! Well-rounded. Generous size and portion, very filling. - Broccoli cheese soup (1/5): Probably the most bland soup ever, and for almost $5 a cup when it tasted like a Campbell's soup can - def would not recommend getting. Needs some hot sauce, pepper, and more cheese.

This is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had and I have lived all over the United States. I am really blown away!

I got the Italian - very good sandwich. You can tell that it's made with quality ingredients. I ate the entire 7" and didn't feel heavy at all after. Also, the staff here was super nice! Be sure to sign-up for their rewards program! You get a free sandwich during your bday month. Exhibit A :)

Great tasting sandwich alert! I tried the Italian sandwich on gluten free bread. Fresh and made to order, this sandwich was delicious and a part of the chip, cookie and sandwich combo. The staff was helpful and friendly. The storefront had plenty of seating space as well as parking during a busy lunch hour. It's located in the same complex as Taco Deli.

I had the pleasure of attending the Yelp Elite Event at Snarfs last week. I have never been to Snarf's, so this was an excellent opportunity to check it out since I'm always looking for a good sandwich spot. Service: The lady who helped us take our order was great! She was very friendly and informative. She suggested a few items to order and recommended different toppings that paired well with the sandwiches. Food: Since we've never been, we wanted to try out a few items. We ordered three 7-inch sandwiches, the Prime Rib & Provolone, the Cubano (a summer special outside their regular menu) and the Italian Sandwich. After trying all three sandwiches, I could tell they used quality ingredients different from those of other sandwich shops. Our favorite of the three sandwiches we had was the Italian Sandwich. All of the toppings were perfect, so I would get it again next time. Overall, it was a good experience at Snarfs. The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, plenty of parking and seating, good music played, and good sandwiches. I would be back again if I'm craving sandwiches in the area.

First, let me say thank you to Snarfs for inviting us to their establishment. As well as to our Yelp staff for coordinating this event. Miranda welcomed me and gave me a wealth of knowledge on what Snarfs offers. She was very polite and an expert on Snarf's menu. After a careful review, I decided to go with the Italian sandwich. I had a choice between white and wheat bread and went with the latter. They toasted the meats to include the pepperoni...delicious! There are plenty of tables inside and a few outside. Snarfs even offer catering and special items. So why the 4? Well, there was a mix-up on my sandwich order. They did offer to make another, and I didn't ask them to do that. The sandwich was still good. Also, it took some time to make the order, and I went to check on it. They found it, and it appeared they had started but didn't finish it. Another issue is that Snarfs share a parking lot with several other businesses that are quite popular, making it hard to find a spot to park your car. There are a few bugs to work out, and they will be well deserving of a 5. The final word is that I will go back again, and I will recommend Snarfs to others because their product is delicious. Thank you!

Lucky Crestview! I grew up on Snarf's in Colorado, and love having Snarfs in my Austin sandwich rotation. These aren't your mom's hoagies: these sandwiches are loaded with quality ingredients and toasted to perfection (imagine if Quiznos was run by a chef). I typically order online at the location near campus because food can take up to 45-minutes during lunchtime, but this new location had my food ready in about five minutes. The restaurant was impeccably clean (I hope they'll maintain this), and the person taking my order was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. My delicious 7" specialty sandwich (I had the motherclucker, which has rotisserie chicken, bacon, honey, and provolone), chips, drink, and fresh snickerdoodle cookie was just under $20, which feels right for a large, quality meal.

    The sandwich was delicious!

The sandwich was delicious. Not great things to say about the service or their pickles but if you're craving a good sandwich this was a good pick up order.

Visited Snarf's Sandwiches today and found it to be a decent spot for a quick bite. The sandwiches are nothing amazing but also nothing bad. No clue it was toasted until they handed me a hot sandwich in its paper. I tried the pastrami and swiss as well as the turkey club. Both were satisfying and well-prepared. Overall, it's worth checking out if you're in the area and craving a sandwich.

Had not been to this restaurant in a good while, and was a last minute decision. Good choice. The whipped feta is always a treat -- light and creamy with a solid feta taste, but not overpowering, served with a few orange slices and thinly sliced almonds, and pita. Special dish! Beet salad excellent, but the Fresno peppers had way too much heat, so pushed them to side. My wife had the Moroccan curry, which had a very spot on Moroccan flavor (been there 3x), and was a large, filling portion so brought home leftovers. I had the grilled pork chop which was large, perfectly grill with a tasty bourbon-based glaze, served with a large roasted garlic clove. Wonderful dish. My wife had a white wine that she enjoyed and my martini, slightly dirty with olives (to start) was a large pour and very smooth. Enjoyable meal in a nice setting once again ...

The standout was the Brussel sprouts...crispy with this absolutely delicious drizzle. I ordered the Mezze plate with a flavor explosion and many desirable texture. It had lamb kabobs, fresh salad (emphasis on fresh) with thinly sliced cucumbers, finely sliced onions and creamy feta (never had creamy feta), red round sweet peppers, hummus with the most delightful pesto like sauce, and olives. ***SMOOTHIE ONLY REVIEW***…read more I'll be honest, Yelp: I most sincerely had reservations about The Soup Peddler. Reason: The menu reads sort of average and practical. Why buy stuff I could make at home? When I spend money, I'm paying for a hit of culture and flavor. This economy is crazy. You've gotta choose wisely. I can save money and do average at home. HOWEVER, I was on a mission for a real pineapple and kale smoothie, and Austin has been inconsistent with this. Juice-Land makes mistakes with substitutions (they don't have it on the menu) and Smoothie King is an "all over the place" expensive hot mess caught up in a boycott, so here I found myself. I ordered the Tropicalia (24 oz): mango, banana, pineapple juice, lemon, kale, spirulina. Solid lineup. But I don't like juice substitutions when you can have real fruit, so my *ONE ASK* was to please add real pineapple on top of everything. Add actual pineapple, not just juice. They said yes!!! No extra charge. And that's where everything changed. This tasted CRAFTED. This tasted INTENTIONAL. Winner. WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER. This is easily the BEST smoothie I've had in Austin. That I've had ever. Ok, Erewhon in LA has been the best. But this was fresh, bright, and clean. Sweet without tipping into sugar overload. The pineapple flavor popped and was balanced by the earthiness of the kale and spirulina so it felt refined and it didn't feel like a juice bomb. Perfecto. Service was straightforward. Pleasant and efficient, not over the top. It works. But the point is I came in skeptical and I left planning my next visit. I want to try everything. If this smoothie delivered then I have high hopes for the rest of the menu. Forgive my doubts.
