Best Shawarma I've had in a long time. Lebanese places always make them the best. I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

Me and my boyfriend got dinner here this weekend and are already very excited to come back. I was super impressed by everything we tried! I got the shish tawook plate with baba ganouj and taboulleh. The chicken was incredible and their baba ganouj is great! We also got a side order of fries and hummus, both were great as well. My boyfriend got the chicken shawarma wrap and it was good but probably our least favorite item that we tried. I think it could've used more chicken and less fries. The employees were so nice and service was pretty fast. So excited to come back again soon! read more

AMAZING.... Being middle eastern myself we have tried few "Lebanese/middle eastern" establishment in Austin and by far BEIRUT is the most authentic flavored spot. Love that they are in the South Domain area which is less crowded and they are infront of the big grass area where you can enjoy your meal and kids can play. Service was amazing. Stopped by here on Sunday afternoon while in the area. The food truck area itself is really nice. They have quite a variety of menu options to choose from. I got the chicken shawarma with pita wrap, it was great but slightly dry. My fiance got the falafel wrap which was delicious. There were a couple of customers but the service was quite fast. We got our orders within 15 minutes of placing it. Which was a nice time to get a stroll in the park in the mean while. I've heard great things about their eggplant dip too. The Beirut food truck moved into our neighborhood recently, and I couldn't wait to check it out. We ordered shawarmas and an assortment of sides, and everything was so yummy! The owner was so friendly and even called us after we placed our pickup order on DoorDash, to make sure we knew their location had changed. Wow! This place is a slam dunk! As a Lebanese American, I can fully endorse their FALAFEL WRAP. It is very reminiscent of my parents' falafel recipe. One bite and I am transported back to Lebanon. They don't skimp on the fresh ingredients, and you can tell from the green color & taste of the falafel. Their Rose Lemonade is also excellent and refreshing in this Austin heat. Great food but the wait can be long since the food is made to order. We had the lamb kebab plate and the chicken shawarma plate. Both were delicious with rice and 2 sides. Love a good food truck and this didn't disappoint. Fries were perfect and hot off the fryer, not stale. The wrap I wanted to get shawarma but wanted to try something new so the shushtawook is what I went with. Chicken was grilled and seasoned well. Beirut is fine dining on wheels. The problem with my review is that it will be full of superlatives to the point that you might struggle to believe me, but wow: it is so good. I had the Cubed Lamb plate today and what the flip?! So. Good. This dish is several levels above what I would expect from a food truck. No. I have been eating at Abu Omar Halal and Kebab Shop for a very long time, and their taste is what actually satisfies the shawarma cravings. I love middle eastern food. So when I find a place that looks like this, and that has these kinds of reviews I have to try it. Please know that this is a trailer in the middle of a shopping center, not a sit down restaurant, even though they do have some tables and chairs available for patrons to use. I ordered the mix grill plate and a side of fries. The lady that took my order was very friendly and helpful. Since it was cold and raining she suggested getting my number so she could call or text me when the food was ready. I thought that was cool. The total was about $40 with a tip. I also liked that this was a family oriented place. The whole family was getting into the action in the trailer. There were kids testing the wares and several adults working the grill. Everyone was doing their part. The mix grill plate comes with steak, chicken and kefta kebab. The meat is laid out on a pita bread and is slathered with a delicious sautéed tomato onion mix. I thought the portion size was pretty generous and probably could have been split between two people - I ate it all. The fries were not as crispy as I would have liked them to be, but they were still fresh and delicious. I may ask them to make them well done next time. When I picked up my order I asked for extra garlic and hot sauces. They gladly gave me as many as I wanted at no extra charge. Im glad I asked for extra, because I am a big fan of both - I like spicy and garlicky food and their sauces didn't disappoint. I love Beruit. It's such a gem in the domain area, and the person taking the order is always so friendly. I highly recommend getting the plate as it comes with two sides, and the Baba ghanoush is a must side. It is so smooth and the eggplant just is so delicious! I think mine came with some fries inside and 2 small pieces of chicken. Didn't see any tomatoes in my wrap. 4/5 for the flavor of the wrap itself 2 ladies working must've been having a bad day but at least the 1 male seemed friendly enough to acknowledge me as I was waiting in line to ask about the status of my order. I came to this food truck the other day with Thing One. I was only looking to get a refreshment. However, I decided to purchase a food item as well, because why not? I purchased the fries and a lemonade. When I ordered the fries, I was told that the fries were freshly made. I thought okay, but then I saw the person who advised the fries were freshly made pull out a plastic bag with frozen fries in it. While I didn't expect the potatoes to be cut for the fries right then, I didn't expect them to be frozen. I guess our idea of "fresh" are different things. All this aside, the fries were nicely done with no salt which was appreciated. The lemonade was light and refreshing but came at steep price point. This food truck is worth a second visit, however, next time, I'll most likely not get the "fresh" frits. #supportlocal read more

We were excited to find Lebanese food in Austin, and centrally located at the Domain. We ordered the Chicken Schwarma and Beef Schwarma plate. The menu has options of plates and wraps that offer options for most anything you are looking for. The dishes are plentiful, but not quite as flavorful as we had hoped. The combination of pickles, fries, chicken in the Chicken Schwarma is satisfying. The tabboulleh was heavy on the olive oil, so was not my favorite. I thought this place was okay. Nothing particularly wrong, but I love Halal Time on east 6th so I'm biased. This food truck is much closer to me so I will be returning. We ordered at the food truck and it was about a 20 min wait for our food. They seemed to have a lot of pick up orders. The fries were perfectly fried and didn't get soggy despite all the toppings. This is hands down the best food I've gotten from a food truck in Austin! I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, and everything tasted so fresh and full of flavor. I love that the plate included so many fresh vegetables and that you really do get a lot of food for the price. This was my first time having Lebanese food and it was a great introduction for me. A food truck located just in the outskirts of the central Domain area in their lawn area, it was a nice find for a snack to fill our bellies while shopping there. The smell from the truck lured us in. We went with the Shish Tawook pita wrap which had their marinated chicken, french fries, tomato, pickles, and garlic aioli. Not a bland bite to taken. The pita was wrapped like a burrito so it was some clean eating with no messiness. The chicken was juicy and full of seasoning and the garlic aioli was a great compliment to the fries and the chicken inside it. We got it spicy but we made a mistake of asking for more chili/spicy sauce. They did warn us it was spicy. And they were right, so don't get too liberal with the spicy sauce. They did tell us before-hand it was a 25 minute wait but that was totally fine because we could just shop nearby. They were really friendly at this food truck. I have to say first off I rarely ever dabble into shawarma, but this was one of the best meals from a food truck I've ever eaten in my life. Decided to go off the beaten path and just wanted to give a shot today at something I don't usually find myself eating and was presently surprised! I went to the truck as I've seen in within the Domain in the past and saw the reviews for the truck were all 4-5 stars so something must be good about it. I ordered the beef shawarma with Hummus/Pita and French fries as my sides. Everything about this was delicious, but i have to give an extra mention to the fries. I don't know if it's the fries they use or the oil, but they were perfect crispness all over and salted and seasoned perfectly. I'm not going to lie I decided to go there last minute for dinner to follow it up with another plate but they had already closed for the evening. You've earned yourself a new fan and I will definitely be back and mention the truck to friends and family. My ONLY bad takeaway would be the pita. I don't eat Pita a lot so I'm not 100% if I'm wrong but I just thought personally it was too thin. I prefer it to be a little puffier like a naan bread. The chicken schwarma plate over rice was really good. Sadly, the description didn't say anything about yogurt sauce and I didn't have prior knowledge to know that the plate came full of dairy.
