The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. The wrap also had a thin white sauce. Mamoud was fast and very personable. There is no seating. Therefore, this primarily a grab and go business unless you want to eat in your car. In the fall months, this would likely be fine. However, in Texas in the summer, you will likely pass out before you got to eat your meal.

And i prefer the more authentic arabic bread they use compared to places like Abu Omar that use tortillas, which tasted off to me. The crew there is very friendly and seems passionate. And they chatted with me about their expansion plans to North Austin. They also specialize in kebabs, beef shawarma and other late night goodies.
