    Turkish coffee

We always come back to this food truck because the service is always kind and the quality of the food is very consistent. I either get the doner wrap, doner burger, or "the bowl" with doner. They make everything fresh and simple here, including their homemade sauces like the white garlic sauce which is my favorite. The bowl is my favorite entree because it's the perfect mix of protein, carbs, and fiber with great flavors all around. Their Turkish coffee is great too. This last time, the owner gave us a try of their newest dessert which is a Turkish version of a tres leches cake with toasted kataifi on top like Dubai chocolate. So good!!!

Unassuming little food truck packs the flavor! We can for the Turkish coffee and left with Turkish delight, Turkish coffee, and sample of their doner. They were all very delicious and the guy working the truck was very friendly. There is plenty of seating via the picnic tables and parking along the street that runs parallel to all the food trucks.

Overall it was pretty delicious and authentic! Also, huge portions of food! Ordering it to go was a good choice because we took the leftovers home. The lady that runs the truck is super friendly and engaging with her customers! I'd definitely recommend this food truck for a nice Thai fried dishes that are full of flavor and have generous portions.

They said it would be about 20 minutes for food since they were slammed, but I appreciate knowing it was made to order, so no problems there. Tried the Kaeng Panaeng and it was good overall. Huge portion size but wasn't quite what I was expecting. Salad was pretty standard but I'm glad they kept it separate so it wouldn't wilt from the heat. As for the chicken, I was hoping by itself it would be more thai inspired/marinated/seasoned but it's effectively just chopped up chicken tenders to be dunked in the curry. The curry is flavorful, albeit a bit watery, which I wish was reduced a bit. But if curry is not your thing, my friend's Kai Zabb was very good: tangy, sweet and heat all at once, so good to really switch up bites. And while I wasn't expecting sticky rice, I can't help but say it's the first time I've had thai fried chicken without it. All in all, I think its a great new place to try out, but if you've had thai fried chicken before, just temper your expectations.

Such a cool area to eat! It was much cooler under this covered area (which is also under some tree coverage).

The second you take that first bite, you already know you made the right call pulling up. The jerk is absolutely unreal. It's perfectly seasoned, smoky, and has just the right amount of kick. It doesn't overpower anything, it just hits exactly how it's supposed to. And being able to build your own bowl is a game changer. Rice, mac and cheese, mix and match whatever you're in the mood for, they've got it. That mac and cheese deserves its own moment too because it's creamy, rich, and honestly addictive. And the beef patties... yeah, good luck eating just one. Flaky, packed with flavor, and gone before you even realize it. Everything about this spot just works. The flavor, the portions, the whole vibe. You can tell this food is made with care, not just thrown together. Don't walk, run to Mr. Pimento. You're seriously missing out if you don't.

The slaw was a nice refreshing bite. The chicken was bordering over cooked as some of it was a little dry. The flavor wasn't as pronounced as I was expecting though; I didn't get any heat, ginger, allspice from it. The fire sauce was nicely hot, about a 6 for me. The spicy ketchup was good and actually hotter. I got the empanada too; nicely flakey and good flavor as well. I had left overs of both so in my mind it's a good deal; two meals for one price($26 before tip). Will go back.

Our family has deep ties to Guam as my mom is from there, and Hawaii as my dad was stationed there for many years in the air force and I was born there! I also grew up in California where access to Hawaiian / Pacific Islander food and culture is everywhere. Needless to say I was blown away! There are very few places to order a mixed plate here in Austin and this tasted the closest I've had to home in a long time. We ordered the Ohana Platter, Garlic Butter Shrimp Plate, Maui Kalbi Ribs, and Spam Musubi. Everything was hot and delicious and so so so flavorful. The finedene was an amazing touch. I wish I had gotten a chance to order a plate of red rice to complete my craving but I will definitely be back to order a catering pan of it! It typically consists of a protein, a few scoops of rice and macaroni salad. I went with the Huli Huli chicken, which is more or less grilled teriyaki cooked with extra pineapple tang. They give a good amount of meat for the price. Food takes a bit of time but I appreciate them cooking it fresh. They got other classics like loco moco too!
