What a cute place for some good middle Eastern food. Came here for lunch and loved the flavors so much, I'm planning to be back. Had the plate with kafta and rice, side of hummus and for dessert baklava - delicious!!! Looks like a family restaurant, then again, you get attention as if you're in your family's house. The food is definitely delicious. They do have so many choices to try and pair up. I'll try the shawarma next time.

We had ordered to go orders several time from Pita Shack. Pita Shack is our favorite Mediterranean restaurant! All of their dishes are so good! Our favorite is the beef shawarma plate. Or comes with rice, humus, and a small salad. The Greek salad is a must try! It's super fresh and delicious! Pita bread is separated and extra cost but it's so good with the beef shawarma, rice, & humus! We tried the gyro, lamb kabobs, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma and our favorite is the beef. All of the other meats are good too, we just prefer the beef shawarma. Meats and rice is perfectly seasoned and well balanced with the freshness of the salad! I love the falafel here! It's seriously the best I had. It's seasoned well and crispy on the outside but soft in the inside. This place is our go to for Mediterranean food! Do I recommend this place? Yes! A must try and seriously is a hidden gym! We drive 38 mins to just go eat here. Healthy. Delicious. Fresh food.

My wife and I came to Pita Shack for the first time on a Saturday afternoon, around 2 PM. The restaurant was not busy at this time--we walked in with no line in front of us. You place your order at the counter and then have a seat. The front of the restaurant itself isn't very large--there's about 6-8 tables maybe, probably not a great spot for groups larger than 8 people on a busy day. The woman behind the counter was very nice and polite. She took our order without any issues. The food didn't take long to come out either! I ordered the "Beef Shawarma Pita-Wrap" and an 8oz Hummus. The wrap wasn't amazing, but it was good! The pita came out so soft and warm and the meat was tender and flavorful. You can't tell from my picture, but it felt like there was a little too much lettuce in the wrap--I felt like it chilled my wrap quickly, and taking big bites full of lettuce wasn't super appetizing for me. The hummus was good--8 oz is a good amount, we just wish it came with more pita. We were given 4 pieces. Overall a fine experience--we felt like we paid a lot for what we actually got. We might come back if we're in the area, and will try some different menu options.

Must try !!! I should have not slept on this place before . Everything I tried was packed with flavor and super reasonably priced. I got the beef shawarma plate, chicken shawarma Arabi, falafel, and their creamy, smoky baba ganoush (which I could eat by the spoonful). Oh and don't sleep on the pizza. Totally unexpected but absolutely worth it. The staff was so friendly and as it was Ramadan made sure the food was ready during Iftar time . I'd take this spot over the usual Mediterranean chains like Halal Guys or Halal Bros any day. The variety and quality here just hit different. Safe to say this is going into my regular rotation!

Came here last night for dinner with my boyfriend and I got the beef shawarma arabi. My boyfriend had the side dish portion of chicken shawarma and rice and we got an 8oz container of hummus to share. We would have gotten the smaller size of hummus but apparently it does not come with any pita. My beef shawarma arabi was very good. The beef was very juicy and the wrap was perfect. I also loved the garlic sauce that it came with! The fries were maybe slightly undercooked and I wish they were seasoned a little more evenly. The chicken shawarma and rice was fine but it wasn't very flavorful and it did not come with any sauce so it was kinda dry. Lastly, the hummus. I hate leaving a harsh review but the hummus was genuinely bad. It had zero flavor and the texture was not very smooth. It tasted like they had just blended chickpeas and left it at that. The service was also a little slow but that didn't bother us at all. Overall, I wouldn't say this place is bad but I would only recommend the beef arabi.

Hidden in a plaza in Pflugerville, Pita Shack is a small family business that knows how to prepare some tender and well seasoned chicken! I'm a sucker for a good chicken wrap so of course I went with that. Again, fabulous seasoning! The pita itself was a good size and the chicken was definitely the star of the show, but I think it could've had more diverse fixings in it, it was just the chicken some lettuce and pickles and tomatoes. Felt pretty simple to me. I had ordered some side of hot sauce and it was like a Cholula/Tabasco sauce which I didn't think paired well. It's okay though, again the chicken is great! The space is tiny, so probably not great for large groups. They only serve bottled water too, so heads up there! The service was excellent, the lady who assisted us was very kind and helpful with the questions we had about the menu. I'd probably give it another shot if I'm in the area!

This is a pita wrap! Other places fill it full of garbage vegetables!

This is the place to go! The other pita place in the shopping center by Target is garbage. They charge you a lot to fill the pita with vegetables and the sauces there suck too. Spend your money here not there. Good food! Service is friendlier at this location too!

What a great place for a quick/ late night bite in pflugerville! We went into this location and ordered the falafel pita and the falafel plate. Both were great! The falafel was delicious and little dense but very flavorful! The hummus was so good , creamy and perfectly blended with seasonings! I really enjoyed the rice as well! The purpled pickled things on my plate were delicious I'm not sure what they were but I'd probably get extra next time. My pita bread was a little hard but wasn't too bad when I reheated it in the toaster oven. The white sauce was out of this world , lots of flavor im glad I got some on the side as the amount on the plate wasn't near enough Good size serving. The establishment is a bit small and you can tell it has been there for a while with no upgrades. The counter/table tops were sticky- not dirty stick but maybe the paint or something. Not sure We actually ordered our food for dine in but they bagged it up and gave it to us to go which after sitting and feeling the sticky table I was glad they packed it to go. Again it wasn't dirty but just naturally sticky for whatever reason. 10/10 recommend for a to go order any time!!

The meat were tasty and cooked beautifully. Rice was seasoned well. Pita bread had good crunch at the bottom making it good pair with their homemade hummus. A good meal on a friday evening.

I am back for another review but you can see I only come here maybe once a year but that could change after an amazing experience with the pizza. It's not your traditional American pizza, the crust is hand made, it has that fluffy pillowy crust, the sauce is sweet yet a good tomato flavor, the cheese is hands down amazing. It's a nice change of pace vs the chain brands. Yes it's more expensive than a chain but it's nice to try something new. Overall strong cheesy taste, I couldn't get a strong taste of the gyro meat pizza, the toppings are a little scarce, I mean you see the pepperoni? It needs more pepperoni to have a more pepperoni taste, count it, 13 slices, it needs more like 20. An extra 7 more and it would be a grand slam, come on Pita!! Add more. The theme is the same with the gyro, add more gyro meat. I'm paying more than $15, it needs more toppings. Now, look at that 5 topping pizza, all the fresh vegetables, olives, meat, that is 100% what I would ask for, add toppings, make the customer more happier, wow us on the toppings. Overall I'll come again but I'll ask for more toppings.

Really love this gem! Portion is large (especially the sides!). It feels warm and welcoming. The…read morespace has a rustic vibe--lots of wood, stones, and a big mural on the wall. Fresh pita & dips (free) - 5/5 As soon as we sat down the waiter brought out pita and a special dip that I never tried in other restaurants, and the pita was still warm like it had just come out of the oven. Soft, fluffy, and really fresh. I used it to dip into the sides we ordered later--the Baba Ghanouj and Hummus. The baba ghanouj had that roasted eggplant smokiness, while the hummus was thick, creamy, and very sesame-forward. Both were solid. Flatbread Trio ($15) - 5/5 This comes with three pieces but you can order a plate of three in the same kinds: meat, za'atar spice, and cheese. The za'atar one had that unique flavor--thyme, sumac, sesame seeds. The cheese flatbread came out hot and stretchy with three cheeses melted together. The meat one had minced beef and vegetables on a thin crust with slightly crispy edges. This one really impressed me. Lamb Kabob Platter ($19) - 4/5 Ground lamb mixed with onion and spices and grilled. The texture was fairly firm and the seasoning was pretty strong--you mostly taste the spices rather than the lamb itself. It comes with grilled tomato and onion, which adds a nice bit of sweetness and balances things out. It also comes with 2 sides--we chose baba ghanouj and hummus. The sides portion is really generous. Mixed Grill Combination ($23) - 4.5/5 It includes beef tenderloin, kafta skewers, and chicken shish tawook. The beef had a nice smoky grill flavor and was quite tender. The kafta had the strongest seasoning, and the chicken ended up being the lightest and juiciest of the three. It also comes with 2 sides--we chose baba ghanouj and salad. House dessert (pistachio pastry, $6) - 4/5 Looks pretty simple, but inside there's pistachio filling that gives it a really nice nutty sweetness. Not overly sugary, which I liked. I hope it could improve its appearance a bit. The food felt comforting and homey rather than fancy, and the portions were generous for the price.

It's one of those places that's reliable and feels pretty consistent, knowing you're going to leave happy and full after eating here. The two times we've been there, theres always plenty of seating and are able to walk right in. It's a walk in and seat yourself experience and then you pay upon leaving. The staff keeps the dining area and buffet line consistently stocked and clean. They even provide hand sanitizer and gloves for you. Even when foot traffic picked up while we were there, the food was replenished quickly and didn't look picked over. Now let's talk food...Everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and like it was made with care instead of just being "buffet food" an under seasoned. The variety is also amazing, and it's easy to build a plate for pretty much any type of diet whether you're keto, high protein, balanced, veggie-forward, vegan, etc... Some of our favorite dishes we keep coming back for: Shredded beef (SO good), Baked fish (tender and not fishy), Garlic baked chicken (wonderful crispy skin), Fried chicken, Baked kafta, Kafta kebab, Gyro meat, Roasted cauliflower, Eggplant, Greek salad, Fatoush, Kale Caesar salad, Zaatar pizza, Cheese pizza (pro tip: top it with shredded beef- a life changing buffet hack), Rice with lentils, Rice with mixed veggies. For the quality, variety and amount of food you get, this is easily one of the best deals in the city! It's rare to find a buffet that's both affordable and consistently this good! If I had one small wish, it would be for desserts to match how strong the rest of the food is. They're not bad, just a little more "fine" compared to how amazing everything else is. I've seen another Dimassi's (I think in Cali) that had a frozen yogurt machine and I'd LOVE to see that here because it would be the perfect finish! Make a cup and then crumble up some baklava on it! Overall we've LOVED it here and we'll absolutely keep coming back! Great food, clean, consistent, and worth it every time!

Between me, my husband, and my mom, we have a lot of overlap in what we like to eat, but we also have some pretty distinct preferences, and Demassi's is one of those places where that works. My husband really loves Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food. I generally do not. I tend to find the meats too dry, I don't particularly like the spice profile, and I also find a lot of dishes in that category to be overly sour. It's hard to explain, but there's often a sharp, tangy acidity that I don't enjoy. For whatever reason, I don't have that issue at Demassi's at all. Here my husband can get his fix of dry, spiced meats, while I'm happy eating from the huge selection of rice dishes, cooked veggies, and soups. As far as protein goes, I actually really like the fish here, so I almost never eat the meat and still leave satisfied. It usually feels like a healthy pescatarian day for me, which I like. Then there's my mom, who just loves the abundance and variety of a buffet. She's happiest when she can sample a little bit of everything, build plates with lots of small bites, and then go back for more. Demassi's is perfect for that. On top of all of this, it's very reasonably priced, especially for lunch or on weeknights. It's always clean, the staff is consistently courteous, and they are really on top of bussing tables, which matters a lot to me at a buffet. Dirty dishes piling up are never an issue here. Overall, it's a solid, reliable spot for us and a place we're always happy to suggest when we're trying to please multiple people with different tastes.
