One of our favorite places around! The food is always fresh, and very tasty! We have tried all kinds of dishes and enjoyed everything!

plate portion size was pretty large. the gyro was better than the chicken shawarma. the chicken was a little dry for our taste. really enjoyed the hummus and baba ghanoush!! the area is nice - there are a couple more food trucks, a coffee shop, and an ice cream shop. they also have a section where they play movies! parking is in the back, but it's a bit bumpy since it's not paved read more

Just had my first meal at Leyla's today and wow I'm impressed! Opted for the tabouli and the lamb beef gyro and I'll say they totally blew me away with their quality and value. The gyro was packed with protein, stuffed with feta and drizzled in this amazing white dill sauce with fresh tomatoes and onion that was so good! The tabouli? Fresh and zesty with awesome aromas. You can tell everything was made with labor of love. Plus I love that it's owner-operated! Thank you to Leyla's for an awesome experience count me in as a new fan. See you soon read more

Absolutely love this place. My daughter is a fan of the chicken kebab plate and one evening we asked for them make me something special and the owner did it without hesitation and it surpassed my expectations! Omg was it delicious! The spicy potatoes with the lamb/beef gyro meat and feta cheese on top. He topped with parsley and I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing it was! THANK YOU SO MUCH for my new favorite meal and your amazing customer service and making me something off menu! THAT IS SERVICE! read more

I really enjoyed this restaurant's food. Extremely authentic mediterranean food. We had schwarma and a few dishes I've never heard of and everything was excellent. However, I went back another time and came close to the posted closing time and the owner would not serve me because it was within 15 minutes of closing. I found that pretty rude. I'm not certain I'll take the effort to go back, though the food was terrific. read more

We love to come here!!!! They take a little while, but only bc they cook from scratch. The chicken is always so good, the falafel, everything! We love Leyla's !!! read more

My review is in between good and not good. Neutral. Kibbe was good and moist and flavorful, just the ratio of burghol and ground beef of the outer shell was off. Lamb plate was good and tender. Was happy to see four pieces. Rice was flavorful. But instead a regular American salad why not fettoush? Humous was not good. I can taste that it came from a can (already made) Beef shawarma was good and tender. My only complaint was that the filling was placed on top of the pita then rolled. Because of that, it kept falling apart and falling out. OPEN the pita then roll, it makes a big difference. Chicken shawarma? I took one bite and couldn't eat it. WHERES THE GARLIC SAUCE??? Barely any chicken. Unlike the beef was full. If you're gonna be a Middle Eastern restaurant then make sure everything on your menu is Middle Eastern. read more

This was a great find, felt like a hidden food truck gem. We wished we lived closer to eat here more frequently. The chicken shawarma, kibbie balls and wrap, beef shawarma, and falafel was incredibly tasty! The salad and hummus were fresh and we took leftovers home for a late night snack, which was just as enjoyable. Joe provided wonderful service and warm conversation. Will definitely come back here and recommend this to anyone who is in the area or driving through. read more

Updating to include review of the lamb shank plate. LOOOOOOVE! The meat was literally fall of the bone tender. The rice was super fragrant and had some nuts and other goodies. The tzatziki salad was refreshing with chunks of cucumber. And of course their hummus is always great and the plate comes with a very generous serving of it. Leylas is always a great choice. read more

So glad my partner found this amazing Lebanese spot! The food was insanely delicious, the portions were great & the family that runs it are so sweet. They make everything fresh to order! Definitely recommend going in person vs ordering online to get the full experience of the picnic tables and lights at night. We ordered the beef shwarma plate with Baba ghanoush & hummus, the red lentil soup, fries, Turkish coffee, and afterward an almond baklava. We ordered WAY too much food but didn't regret it at all because it all tasted amazing. The family is very nice & provided great service. Thank you Yusuf and Gabi! read more

Leyla's Kitchen food is great. I grew up on Lebanese food, so I am particular about both taste and quality, and this place delivers. The shawarma sandwiches always hit the spot. They are flavorful, clean, and well presented. The service is good as well. We will definitely be returning. read more

Best Lebanese/middle eastern food around with lots of vegetarian options! We order this in each week. They listen to order notes and the food always tastes fresh! I'm Lebanese and I absolutely love this place. I found it on DoorDash, and I've been ordering from it for a long time, and today I finally went to the spot myself. Everything is authentic the way it's meant to be and the way it is if you had it in lebanon the Shawarma is OG. The hummus is OG. The tabouli is OG. And even though a cheeseburger and the steak sandwich are not Lebanese. They are probably my favorite cheeseburger or steaks sandwich from anywhere. 90% of burger stores don't eat the burger at Leyla's kitchen. read more

Damn - I Love this place. Best Mediterranean in the Hill Country. Can't wait to return so I can eat like a fat boy!

Hands down the best authentic Lebanese Mediterranean food in Austin. Set as a food truck in a charming food truck park with clean benches and games. Very friendly owner and staff. Prompt service and reasonable prices. Wide selection of excellent quality food. Will certainly be back! read more

We love the food here! Great portion, great quality and it's always fresh! The prices are great for the amount and the type of food. We have always accommodated to any changes that I've made to my plate. It's great to order and pick up or sit outside and eat. I wish they were on DoorDash. read more

Omg I can't believe I haven't put a review on Yelp yet for Leylas kitchen food truck. My husband is Lebanese so we are always on the lookout for the best Lebanese restaurant around here. Let's just say that Leyla's kitchen is just the place. I wish we were going more often but everytime we go, the food is as great as the time before. It's authentic. The owners are so sweet. The portions are very generous. I love everything on the menu. My husband always get shawarma, fries, tabouleh and I love their Greek salad with a kofte on the side. Their little sausages are great as well. I believe Joseph, the owner, said they make them in house (they definitely taste better than the ones they sell at the middle eastern supermarkets in the freezer). If you know what you want, call them and it will be ready by the time you get there if you're in a hurry: they cook everything fresh so it takes time. They don't keep cooked meat in warmers. read more

I ordered Leyla's via Grubhub for delivery. However, grubhub's TERRIBLE service kept pushing the delivery time back because they didn't have a driver. I called Leyla's to see what the hold up was. They told me that the order had been ready for about 15 minutes. We could tell there was no driver so Joseph offered to bring my order to me. I couldn't believe the great customer service that they provided. The food tasted great and they even gave me more rice to make for the issue, even though it wasn't their fault. I highly recommend Leyla's Kitchen and highly do not recommend Grubhub. I appreciate you Leyla for making my experience well even when Grubhub messed it up!!! read more

Decent Mediterranean food. I got the gyro plate. Hummus and gyro were flavorful. Great spot if you're in the area

This food was fantastic. I had reservations about driving from East Austin to Lakeway to get Lebanese food... but this was worth the drive. I wish I'd taken photos, but it was so good it was torn apart quickly. This place is in a casual food truck court and has about 6 picnic tables in the center. Warning: the flies are AGGRESSIVE! I recommend bringing one of those fly fans are grabbing your food to-go. The nice thing about the outdoor food truck court is that you can bring your own beverages (or wine)! I had the gyro plate which came with hummus, rice, salad, pita, and gyro. I am SO glad I got the plate because the rice here is outstanding. I never knew I could love rice so much. How? Why? These are things I do not have answers to. I could probably eat the rice as a stand-alone dish and I don't love rice that much. The rice definitely has turmeric in it... but also some sweet / earthy notes. Maybe cinnamon or clove? I'm not sure, but it's working for them. GET THE RICE. I also got a side of the French fries. Such s good choice. The fries are the best kind of fries: crispy, seasoned, delicious. I will forever compare other fries to theirs. The portions were nice and large. I was able to take home the rest for another meal. I can't wait to go back and try something else.... Or get the exact same thing because it was that good. We got our food in less than 10 minutes which was amazing since it was about 6:00 on a Friday night. That being said, they started to get a lot of call-in orders and I noticed a sign that said "this is not pre-made fast food", so I bet they get backed up during peak times. I think this can be said just about anywhere these days though! My friends who were with me said it sometimes takes 20-30 minutes, so they always bring wine to sip on while they wait. Parking is a bit of a cluster. It's easy to find spaces, it's just also legally questionable. I just parked where there was a space and thought "this seems fine". Others did the same. Take a note from cats on parking, "if I fits, I sits". They need another food truck in East Austin. Until then, I will make the trek back. read more

Wow. Really good food! We got two plates: gyros and beef. Both very good with very tender meat. Rice is fantastic and sides. We will definitely make this a regular place for us. I agree with other reviews that the food seems to be of very high quality (if one can tell). I thought the hummus was good but another reviewer said it was from a can? Hope not. We enjoyed it and will be returning customers. So good! read more

Food is always fresh and tasty, and large portions ensure leftovers. There was confusion on my recent Door Dash purchase; Gabby - from Leyla's - called me to inform me of the delay in delivery, wanting to ensure my satisfaction and going above and beyond her duties. read more

AWESOME PLACE!! Delicious food and very friendly service at this family-run establishment. The chicken and beef kabob plates (served with hummus, rice, pita bread and a salad) were some of the best I have ever had, and were good sized portions. They were also expanding the outdoor seating area with covered patio amenities while I was there, which no doubt will only add to the ambiance of the area. Looking forward to coming back here next time I am in the Austin area! read more

Incredible food and welcoming, helpful, kind staff. The grape leaves were incredibly fresh, I'm not always a fan of them but these were great! The Kibbie balls had great flavor and went good with the dip. The baba Ghanouj was my favorite I've had, slightly Smokey flavor and went well with the garlic naan next door since I forgot to order pita. Highly recommend them and call ahead so you don't have to wait in the heat. When it cools down there's plenty of shaded seating and beautiful landscape. read more

Humbly, our favorite ATX spot for dining, food trucks in the middle of Hill Country where there are no false pretenses. Just authentic, good vibes in the middle of natural beauty. Owner of Leyla's is a Lebanese national so the food is truly authentic using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Oh, and the pita is handmade, amazingly delish. read more

Good food, good service, and it's close to home. Not bad all around. Food Trucks are pretty good when they're close by.

Our favorite pickup spot. Everything is authentic and delicious. Call ahead as they get busy!

After a day of checking out a few distilleries in the area, your girl was HUNGRY! so I started yelping and googling to see what was in the area, and when I saw Mediterranean food, I was sold! So I headed over to Leyla's, not knowing it was a food truck. Well I checked out the other trucks which included BBQ, and a pizza truck (also called Leyla's) don't know of they own them both. Anyways, I placed my order and the owner was nice enough to bring it to my car, which I thought was very nice of him so I didn't have to wait in the cold. I ordered the chicken shwarma plate, which includes rice, hummus, salad and some pita bread. Not disappointed! The dish was delicious! It was filling, and a great portion as well to satisfy the hunger. read more
