The food is solid, but basic... Jason's Deli offers a variety of sandwiches, salads and soups. My usual order is the Manager's Special, which comes with a half sandwich, chips and a side. For those needing something heartier, I recommend getting the full size. I always order the Chicken Panini (grilled chicken, provolone, pesto aioli, spinach, and tomato on sourdough) with the Spicy Seafood Gumbo. Strangely, the gumbo is solid!

The inside of the baked potatoes were very good. The combo included one trip to the salad bar and unlimited soft drinks and tea. Everything on the salad bar was fresh and delicious. All of the vegetables that you could make your salad were very fresh, crispy and delicious. The potato salad was really good too. The chocolate mousse was to die for. It was so creamy and rich. To top all of this off, they have free unlimited ice cream cones....vanilla, chocolate and chocolate/vanilla mix. Nice way to finish off a good meal. The service was lacking. When we were ordering, the person made us feel like we were being rushed to place our orders. Simpson's BBQ was one of those vendors, and the best in my opinion! They were offering free brisket tacos, so I got in line immediately. There was a longish line, but it moved quickly due to the server's speed. When I got to the truck window, he handed out the brisket taco wrapped in foil and offered a drink. I chose a Diet Coke. It was chilled...a refreshing drink after standing outside in the sun. The brisket was moist and had no BBQ sauce..:the way I like it! I'm a purist when it comes to brisket. The parking lot had no ambiance to speak of; it was hot out there but worth the short wait.

The line was 30+ people deep when we got our food. My partner really wanted reasonably priced barbecue, so here we waited. You can estimate about 1.5-2 minute wait per person (took us about 30 minutes with 20ish people). The prices are very reasonable, but you get what you pay for. The nachos had barely any meat and the meat was dry. It was a respectable amount of nachos that were a good snack or light meal, though, and they were better priced than other food trucks. I'd go for two hot dogs over nachos next time if I wanted to have a meal. An extra star for the nice lady collecting ticket numbers that was patient in explaining customization options while waiting, including lemonade flavors.
