Phad Kee-Mao

I ordered the Phad Thai and Phad Kee-mao, both dishes were on the drier side and could have used more sauce. I also ordered a level 2 spice and it was quite spicy so be wary if you cannot tolerate spice. The prices are good but not sure if we would order from here again.

When we first learned of a new food trailer park coming to our neighborhood we were excited! Even more so when we saw a Thai food truck! Since day one Qui's has been excellent! As you can see from the photo she always serves really big portions so you have plenty to last! Spice level is good even on the low end. 1-3. Can't imagine the 3 although I'm sure someone prefers a lot of spice. Another great thing is once you go you'll be remembered by name! Just as if you are part of the family! I'm not sure why the map has a different location ( maybe she has two spots?) but I get her food from her trailer off Old San Antonio Road definitely come give it a try! P.S get the Thai Tea!

When we arrived at the truck, we were greeted by the sweetest lady. She took down our order (pad thai) and our names and how spicy we wanted it to be (1, 2, or 3). I wasn't sure what level I should choose so I went the medium route with a 2 and I tell you what, I'm sure glad I didn't go for a 3. The spice level on a 2 was pretty spicy, but not to the point where it was unbearable to eat but it did leave me going for the water after a couple of bites or so (I'd get the 2 again). The actual flavor, irrelevant to the spice level was amazing, some of the best pad thai I've had in a minute! The noodles were done perfectly and had amazing texture! The chicken and tofu, in the pad thai, was also very tasty. The place they are currently parked at has plenty of parking and seating for when I gets less hot out! Overall, would recommend, great food, great location, friendly owner!

Coconut drink (i didn't give the justice it deserved) I took photo late but it's so good

I love this food truck and the owners they are amazing and kind when asked about spice level 1-3 2 was actually spicy and I love spicy so choose one if u can't handle spice much I can't imagine how 3 is but it is very good!,Her service is 10-10 she even let us try samples of some drinks I 100 recommend coconut drink as someone who doesn't like coconut things because I can't stand artificial drinks of it I can say it's 100% natural I can taste real coconut and loved the chunks only coconut drink I will drink!

There is a very small building with indoor seating, but it only has a restroom and a handful of small tables. I do want to give the benefit of a doubt as I was part of a fairly large group meet up, so some of the delays in service and getting food was probably due to the large number of people for a very small kitchen. I also 100% have to blame the meet up organizers for not letting us know it was outdoors! The place is BYOB although they do have a selection of bottles nonalcoholic drinks. Even though it was outdoor seating at picnic tables, there was one girl taking orders, and another guy delivering food, we did have to wait a bit for our food, but the point of the meet up was chatting and socializing so it wasn't a huge deal. The food arrived hot and was pretty good. My main complaint is that the portion seemed a little small for the price point, I got the Tom Kha soup and $13 for a pint of soup and a scoop of rice seemed high. The flavor of the broth was good but there were definitely more onions than chicken! That being said I liked that the spice level didn't seem to be lowered- I got a 3/5 and it definitely made my nose run a bit XD All in all I think to really get an accurate read I'd have to try again under more normal circumstances.

The Best Pad Thai ($18): Thai-style stir-fried rice noodles with egg, dried sweet radish, chili, garlic, crab meat, bean sprouts, and chives, topped with fried tempura shrimp, crispy shallots, tobiko, peanuts, and lime. I love pad thai, and this version delivered! The flavors were quite concentrated, so I recommend mixing the noodles thoroughly before eating. While the shrimp tempura was crunchy with a nice batter, I personally prefer the traditional proteins -- beef, chicken, pork, or tofu. BBQ Brisket Clay Pot ($19.50): A Thai-Chinese style clay pot featuring garlic, ginger, smoky brisket, onion, mushroom, Thai jasmine rice, green onion, sweet soy sauce, and chili garlic sauce. The combination didn't quite work for me and I wasn't a fan of the flavors, though my husband absolutely loved it. It's not as flavorful as the pad thai so we had to use the sauce they provided.

Long time South sider, first time reviewing this spot!…read more Egg rolls were crispy, not at all greasy and the filling was flavorful and paired so well with the sweet and sour dipping sauce. I ordered Khao Soi to try something new as a chronic pad kee mao orderer. It was so good! The noodles were a perfect texture, the creamy yellow curry seeped into the thin cuts of chicken and veggies beautifully. Will order again! And of course I did need to try their Pad Kee Mao and it was 10/10. The spice levels I chose for each were at a 4 out of 5 and I'd say that was a soft 4. I appreciated that actually. I was aware of the spice but I personally could enjoy the flavors and it wasn't overwhelming. Will be back

You order at the counter, seat yourself, and then a server will bring out your food. They did let us know that our food would be in to go containers and asked if it was ok before taking our orders. Not sure why this was the case, but I didn't have an issue with it at all. Maybe not the place to go on a first time date at unless you're going for a super casual vibe. The soup I ordered is where the experience fell short. I've had tom yum many times in the past, and what I expected was a more deep, sour and spicy flavor, and it was not that. The broth as you can tell by the color in the photo was pretty clear (light in taste), and was slightly spicy and sour. They do ask you how much spice you prefer (0-5), and I picked 3, thinking that it would be a decent level. Maybe I just have a higher tolerance. I usually order curry or fried noodle dishes at Thai restaurants, but I wanted to try something new this time. Just didn't turn out as I had hoped. Everything else looked great on their menu, and I do want to give this place another shot. The servers and host were very friendly, and the restaurant itself was comfortable and casual.

The Thai tea was a standout--sweet, creamy, and the perfect pairing with the meal. The curries were rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The drunken noodles were also very tasty--great texture, well-seasoned, and satisfying without being overly heavy. Service was great, food came out fresh, and the overall experience made this an easy recommendation. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving flavorful Thai food.
