By far the best food in central Texas. I travel all over the state trying new foods, this place takes the grab prize of them all. The "chef" (not just a cook) has to be a genius. His skills in the kitchen are unmatched. If anyone is stupid enough to give this place a bad review is a lying fast food eater. There's no 1 single thing on their menu that's not amazing. 10/10 i will be back as many times as my wallet allows. (The specials are just a bit better than menu items, which are still amazing too)

Just had this for lunch today. The BEST SEAFOOD I have ever had!!! I highly recommend this place!

Second time coming here. I really need to eat here more often as they food is so satisfying. First occasion we had boudain balls, crab cakes and fish and shrimp basket. We were super hungry and THOUGHT we could finish all that but no, it was tons of great seafood. Today, had the fish and chips and man, they have BOTH the fish and chips on lock! Fish is beer battered which makes a super light, crispy and airy batter. I made the mistake of having it with malt vinegar-not that it wasn't good, but the fish really didn't need any help as it was killer by itself. The fries, I don't know what magic seasoning they use but they're simply one of the best fresh, skin on fries ever that were topped with flaky salt. Yeah definitely gonna return. I cant wait to try their Poboys!

Never soggy, always crispy and flavorful. Don't come here if you're watching your grease intake.

Overpriced food that's over cooked. The owner is racist. The food is salty, overcooked and service is slow.

If you want authentic Cajun food do not come here. Service was fast but food was not good at all. Overpriced is an understatement.

Okay, nothing to write home about. It's certainly wasn't worth over 30$ for a poboy sandwich and a shrimp basket. Maybe 15$ would be fair.

We ordered the goat biryani, Maharaja Punjabi Dal and Baigan Bharta with a tandoori roti. Each of these dishes were delicious! Both came with fresh white basmati rice. Clifton was very kind to adjust the spice levels for us when the Bharta turned out too spicy. He was very attentive and checked on us a few times to make sure we are enjoying our dinner! We saw him working very hard with all the other guests too. He was preparing cocktails, & drinks etc. while attending to all guests! What we liked most was that the food had a home made quality, and it did not upset our gastrointestinal systems! :) The restaurant ambiance is good. The cutlery and glassware were clean! Overall, If you are looking for a good Indian Restaurant then Jaipur Palace is very good in Austin!! The prices are very attractive in these times! We hope it stays this! Thanks again for a lovely hospitality Mr. Clifton! We will visit again soon! Ria/Tony

Portions are very generous and can easily have enough for 2-3 meals. The rice was nice and fluffy and the sauce was very rich in flavor. The Vegetable Pakora was by far the favorite. Nice and crunchy outside. The sauces each paired wonderfully with the dusting of spices/herbs. Not pictured but also got the Mithai Chaat and it was alright, would suggest picking a different dessert.

The Garden Salad was really good and refreshing. The lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and other veggies were cold, fresh and crisp. The Herb Crusted Chicken was delicious. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was so juicy and tender...very tasty. The grilled veggies were okay...the carrots could've been cooked longer. My wife ordered the Grilled Shrimp with a Garden Salad and steamed carrots. She said her Garden Salad was really fresh and tasty. Her Grilled Shrimp was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was really delicious. She said the same thing about her carrots, they could've been cooked more. The service was top notch, second to none. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. We had about a 10 minute wait. Would have been longer if we hadn't gotten on the waitlist on their phone app. Our server (Jossel Lynn) was awesome! She was on top of things. She was very friendly, welcoming, helpful and patient as we were trying to decide what we wanted to order. She was very attentive and prompt and made sure everything was okay, that everything tasted great and that we had everything we needed. Our drinks never got past half full. She is one of the best servers we ever had. A lot of other servers/waitresses/waiters needed to take lessons from her. She needs a raise!! The manager (Jo) was very friendly and polite. She came around and asked if everything tasted okay and if we needed anything? This place is always busy, full and usually has a waitlist. I highly recommend checking in on their phone app. The restaurant is always clean. The bar area has Big Screen TV's at it. The restaurant itself has a very welcoming, energetic vibe and atmosphere. Great place to go to have a refreshing cocktail and a delicious meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be a frequent visitor. I also love the complimentary peanuts!

The ambience is not super polished by that is not must for me with sushi. The soup and salad was brought out first at the same time. The soup was really tasted and had a lot going in on it compared to most miso soups you get. The salad was all the sad white parts of an iceberg lettuce head with a dressing that was more creamy than the soy/ginger orange one most sushi places have. The chirashi came out with the fish place directly on the rice rather than separately in a stacked serving box with the rice below and the sushi on a plate above that. Their yelp pics showed it presented like this in the past. Guess they ran out or loss those? The fish was really good with the tuna and salmon being the highlight. Nice thick cuts with really good tenderness and freshness. I will be going back again for the chirashi and super friendly service.

I'd like to say that it's an underappreciated gem, but to be frank, it's just okay. Perfectly okay, absolutely not bad, and nothing to get excited about one way or another. The ramen options are structured like a choose-your-own-adventure book, letting diners select their protein and then broth flavor from a list of eight each. For vegans, the sole option is the Vegetable Ramen with Creamy Vegan Broth. It delivers on the promise of vegetables, sporting close to a full crown of tender steamed broccoli, and the noodles are good, if not great. However, the broth falls flat, taking the overall bowl down with it. There's just no flavor at all, no umami, no zest, not even enough salt for proper seasoning. I hate to be harsh because it's done nothing wrong. I would simply never crave it, given the wealth of more compelling alternatives within reach. If you're going to go, and want to keep it vegan, get the basic veggie sushi. Cucumber and avocado were perfect; simple, fresh, abundant, and wrapped in perfectly cooked rice. It's a decent value too, definitely competitive with more upscale options. Service is fast, the people are kind, and it's a fine choice if you're nearby.
