After a day of checking out a few distilleries in the area, your girl was HUNGRY! so I started yelping and googling to see what was in the area, and when I saw Mediterranean food, I was sold! So I headed over to Leyla's, not knowing it was a food truck. Well I checked out the other trucks which included BBQ, and a pizza truck (also called Leyla's) don't know of they own them both. Anyways, I placed my order and the owner was nice enough to bring it to my car, which I thought was very nice of him so I didn't have to wait in the cold. I ordered the chicken shwarma plate, which includes rice, hummus, salad and some pita bread. Not disappointed! The dish was delicious! The chicken shawarma we ordered was not good at all. There were giant pieces of pickles, large amount of fries, and very little meat. The meat a little of it when you got in your bite was very bland. Not impressed at all. Edit after owners snarky reply! I am not exaggerating! And I know exactly what location I am talking about. Please don't be condescending! What I described is exactly what we got! We threw away half of your crappy shawarma because it was that bad! Gordon Ramsay might have liked your shawarma but standards can fall very fast when people have attitudes like you have! One of our favorite places for a delicious meal in this area. Well seasoned, good portions, friendly service, & priced right. We go here at least twice a week and I'll even bring my out of town guests. There are picnic tables or you can just pick up to go. I'll usually call in my order and it's ready when I arrive. My faves are the falafel wrap, babba ghanouj, gyro wrap, and believe it or not, the cheeseburger is sooo good. read more

Somewhat of a mixed bag. The Greek salad is pretty good with a dressing that really makes it.He gives you a huge amount which is good because about a third of the lettuce is too white and bitter to eat. I loved the grilled Beef Kabobs but they were cooked with more pink than I like. The humus is pretty boring. What I didn't care for was: Baklava-looked pretty but it had an evaporated milk taste or something Kafta Meat wrap-my husband thought it was okay, but I couldn't eat it I didn't love the chicken. Neither of us care much for the Falafel or the Kibb ie Balls. Overall, what is good is very good, hence why I decided on 4 stars instead of 3. Prices are okay. And they are close by so we love that! And the food does seem nice and fresh. Overall, they are pretty good, you'll just have to try things out to see what you like. read more

We love the food at Leyla's kitchen. We've done take out and eaten at the Fetch Park. Our fav are the kibbeh balls. These taste authentic and are served with a great yoghurt dip. The kebab platters are really good too. The rice is very flavorful. The person who runs the foodtruck is really friendly. So is the staff. They are happy to answer any questions you have about the food. It's nice to have a great Mediterranean option close to home. read more

Before living in TX the majority of my friends were from Lebanon. So I had Lebanese food All. The. Time. It was absolutely delicious and super fresh. I learned what I liked and what I didn't and was used to it being served the same way. Leyla's kitchen was so very close to theirs. The Lebneh is my favorite dip/schmere/spread (not sure what you'd call it) and this did not disappoint. I get it everytime I order from here. The falafel is very good - not quite as good as my friends but a very close replacement. The gyro (I didn't eat it) was really tasty according to my family, and they've eaten it multiple times. I did have the kebabs and they were good. They weren't my favorite which is the only reason this is a 4 not 5 star rating. Hopefully next time I go, I'll be able to give them 5! I will definitely be back many times. read more

Hands down this is one of my favorite places to eat in Austin/Dripping Springs. The food is made fresh to order, the flavors are amazing and the service is top notch. We are owners of a food truck in Michigan and chatted with the owner of Leyla's for a while. He was very kind and offered any knowledge he had to us! I had the gyro plate and it was amazing. Spot on Lebanese/Mediterranean food. The filet mignon skewers were so tender and the beef kofta was so juicy. My hubby enjoyed the gyros. Everything was fresh and superb. We can go back and forth but all I did was pick up food from a place I liked; commented on what was unappetizing. The experience was a let down and just realized it wasn't worth the long drive anymore. Never said your hummus or kibbeh was bad. Also, unlike you, I am not removing/modifying my comments. We did pick it up from the Hamilton Pool location right next to the pizza truck and bbq trucks. Never been to the restaurant in Cedar Park. Picked up lunch today and what a sad decision it was!! We used to love the food at this place and what a disappointment it turned out to be this time around. Ordered the gyro and the chicken kebab with rice! Worst ever! The kebab was dry, no flavors and tough to eat. The rice was chewy and sad. Totally bummed! Their kibbeh was ok as was the gyro and the hummus was good and hence the two stars. We LOVE this place!! Husband and I moved out to the hill country and this spot saves us every time we are craving Mediterranean. The Lamb plate is my favorite and it comes with salad, hummus, and rice! Never fails and reasonably priced. The truck is parked in a small food truck area with four(?) other trucks and we beeline for this one each time. It's definitely worth the drive if you aren't in the area, and if you do live out here then it is a MUST. We take our friends who visit here every time!! read more
