Fetch Food Park, on Hamilton Pool Rd, just east of RR 12. This is the coolest little dive food truck park! We only tried the Indian food at Namaste Austin's food truck this visit, but there are other trucks here as well. We aren't really familiar with Indian food, but wanted to give it a shot. So glad we did! We ordered Samosa, Paneer Butter Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan. Holy cow, it was ALL so good! Loaded with flavor, spice level was just what we asked for, and enough for leftovers. The service was quick and friendly, and it only took about 10 minutes for the food to be handed to us. Much faster than I would have thought. It was screaming hot, and still steaming when we got back to our RV park. So tasty, so satisfying. Give Namaste Austin a go. I'd recommend it to anyone!

So we just moved near to Hamilton Pool, after a long day of moving, no one had energy to cook and there were 8 hungry Indian mouths to feed. Feeling sad that there are no Indian food joints nearby, we still searched and to our wonder Namaste Austin popped out in our search. This place is run by Haripal, food is north Indian style and our "dilli-wala" taste buds couldn't be happier. I ordered Dal makhni, Panner butter masala, Palak kofta, soya chaap, crispy brussels sprouts and all the garlic, butter and plain naan and gulab jamun. DalMakhni and Paneer butter masala standout. Brussels sprout is an interesting take of this place, loved it, even my mom from India liked it. Soya chap is another gem. Gulab jamun, trust me u can drive here to just have this and u will still be very happy! Palak kofta and naans are the average kind, they are still very good but above things shine way more. We plan on to visit here with family, our dog can enjoy the fetch park and we can much on some gulab jamuns and masala chai, that's our next plan. Thanks for coming to Austin and showing what good Indian food is, your love and hardwork does show up in the packaging and quality u provide. They even give u Indian mouth freshners (they so reminded us of Delhi!).

Probably the best Indian food I've had in the Austin area. Definitely want to continue to support this place. The menu is expansive with many options beyond the classics.

The owner is amazing. The food is amazing. A hidden gem in Texas hill country! We'll be back :)

Food and service were great. It was not a sit down restaurant. It was a food truck for take out orders. So ambiance does not apply.

Eh. Got my order wrong and was rather bland. But I'll give it another shot. The nan was good.

Food was REALLY REALLY GOOD. It's not quick- but worth the wait. Use the time to shop at the new plant place a few steps away.

Some of the best Indian food you'll find. The Lamb Korma is incredible. We've been back several times and the quality is consistent.

Tikka House Indian Eatery 3100 Ranch Road 620 South,…read moreLakeway Tikka House Indian Eatery truly deserves five stars. The Indian spices brought out incredibly rich, delicious flavor in every major dish. I ordered several items, and every bite was amazing. The chicken lollipop was absolutely wonderful -- that bold red seasoning was unbelievably good and packed with flavor. The lemon rice was outstanding, and the naan was soft, warm, buttery, and perfect. One thing to note: this is not a rushed dining experience. Each dish is prepared with care, and courses come out about 30 minutes apart. If you're in a hurry, this may not be the spot -- but if you appreciate quality food, the wait is well worth it. They are animal-friendly for service animals (not pets), which is a big plus. They do not have their liquor license just yet, but they are actively working on it. If you love a good bar, they have a beautiful bar coming soon. Since they are brand new, a little patience goes a long way -- and they were very upfront about that themselves. I truly can't recommend this place enough. The food, the flavors, and the care put into every dish make Tikka House one of the best Indian restaurants in the Lakeway area.

The naan was perfectly baked, the curry was rich and flavorful, and the rice was light and fragrant. Even the mango drink was refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine in the Lakeway area, this place is definitely worth a visit. I will absolutely be coming back to try more items from the menu! Highly recommended!

The mango lassi was overly sweet, and the salted lassi made our 9yo's face contort into a shape I didn't realize was possible. It also took quite a long time to get our order; we saw a lot of people who must have been delivery drivers picking up order after order as we waited about 25-30 minutes for our food. This wasn't great given we were the only customers actually eating at the location. The staff themselves were quite nice, but ultimately I need to score on the food and the time it took to receive it, both of which have room for improvement.

We ordered chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, chooza kebab, vegetable samosas, and butter naan. Overall I would say the food is great for Austin standards. I grew up in Houston and am used to the quality of Aga's and this place isn't quite there. I'm also used to halal meat and I don't believe this place uses halal meat so it's a little more tough than expected for the chicken tikka and butter chicken curries. But as we know there aren't many great options for Indian food in Austin, so with that being said I would recommend this spot. As a desi, if you're ever missing home food then this is the spot for you. Plenty of options and a large variety beyond the basic options that we picked lol.

The restaurant is clean, well decorated and ready for your visit! The staff are super friendly. I drove home with my order and it was piping hot and spectacular. Chicken tikka is spicy, mildly sweet and so delicious. A great way to conquer allergy season! The paneer butter masala had a lot of paneer. Many other locals have tiny bits of paneer in a sea of gravy. At Tamarind you will not be disappointed! Don't miss the potato samosas... Come on Austin, let's show these guys more lunch time love!

There was one customer waiting, and not another person. I waited about ten minutes. My son loves chicken Tikka masala, so we ordered him some. It is spicy. I'm into a moderate spice, and this is burning my lips as I type. There was no option when ordering online to determine level of spice so we weren't ready for that. Beyond the spice the chicken was tough, so even if the spice was toned down the chicken wasn't great. The tandoori chicken is nice and flavorful and tender. $17 for three drumsticks and two thighs might be a bit steep. Overall not an overwhelmingly good experience.

We had the chicken pakoras deep fried in a chickpea batter. Great healthy flavor. A side dipping sauce of chutney accompanied the starter nicely. We order with jasmine rice for all of our dishes. Light and fluffy. Very nice portions. The chicken Tikka Masala was not the typical flavor. It was more spicy than creamy and being totally honest they need to re-do this recipe. I have had this dish tons of times and the flavor is totally off.
