The portions are extremely generous and the food fresh. I appreciated that you could build your own plate. The service was great and efficient. The restaurant was very quiet when we came in. It is open and clean. Very enjoyable road trip stop!

Combination (chicken and gyro) plate with rice, stew, and salad.

I actually really liked my meal today. I ordered the combo plate. I got gyro and chicken along with 3 sides, which I ordered humus, rice and a stew. It came with a greek salad and pita bread. Good flavor with a lot of food. You order at the counter where they prepare it on the spot and you pay...done! They do offer take-out too and are asked when you order. The server was fast and understanding when you are not familiar with all the sauces. Lots of tables and booths to sit at. There is plenty of parking as well, but is shared with other businesses. Thank you Zorba for providing Round Rock with another choice to dine!

Do not judge a book by its cover! This place is a hidden gem that serves delicious greek food for a reasonable price. My go to is the Zorba's Chicken Wrap. The chicken is wonderfully seasoned and all of the works that it comes with pairs beautifully with the chicken. I request some "hot sauce" so that I could amp up the flavor, but tzatziki sauce will work too. Get a side salad and this plate is complete with a little bit of warmth and freshness. Service is just OK and the restaurant is not all that, but you're not here for that, you're are here for the quality food! Highly recommend.

Ah loved this homey restaurant! We were served promptly and the food was delicious. I ate everything and can't wait to come back.

I'm from Chicago and this was one of the best gyros that I've had in a long time. Went for a quick lunch with my team and there was a line to the door. The line moved very quickly, and we were served before we knew it. I got the gyro wrap with french fries. The wrap included lamb and was topped with tadziki, tomato, lettuce, red onion and cucumber. It was the perfect amount of sauce, and the meat had an amazing flavor. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned. Would definitely recommend for a quick lunch and can't wait to return!

Combination plate with dolmathes and spanakopita

My wife introduced me to this restaurant some months ago. I leave super full every time we come here--the plates are so well-portioned. My go-to is the combination plate--gyro meat with chicken and I usually sub the rice and hummus for dolmathes and spanakopita. It's always so delicious! My wife got the Chicken Zorba wrap this time around. Both came with a side salad. All the times that we've been here the place is never packed. There's always seating available. Service is okay. There are usually young teens handling the orders and delivery of food to tables. Nothing very "wow" about the service, but they get the job done! Always a great stop when we're in the Round Rock area doing shopping and all.

Combo Plate (chicken/gyro meat, house salad, rice pilaf, lemon chicken soup, tzatziki and pita bread)

Was craving greek food so I stopped in to Zorba and got a combo plate to-go. The service was nice, friendly and fast. While looking at the menu I noticed quite a few good lunch specials so I'll more than likely be back for lunch one day. The combo plate was super filling and good. I preferred the gyro meat to the chicken but both were delish. My favorite from this meal was the lemon chicken soup... so good! They have so many different sides to choose from so it was definitely great that my plate had a option of 3. Next time I'm already planning to try the iron pot roast.

The intimate space is welcoming and relaxing. The staff are incredibly talented mixologists at the top of their game. The reason for our visit is their month-long Star Wars pop-up that started 5/4/26 (of course). They nailed it in every sense of the imagination from themed drinks (alcohol and n/a) to the interior and exterior decor. Hoot & Annie is currently The Mos Eisley Cantina. And, it is! It's as though we've been transformed from this town that's about 20 minutes from Austin to the actual Mos Eisley Cantina. My boyfriend is a huge Star Wars nerd and absolutely loves it. I'm a fan and a supporter and dig it. It's literally the next best thing to Galaxy's Edge. No joke. We love it here and we'll be back even during non-Star Wars times!

The Bichota cocktail was a standout--sweet, refreshing, and with just enough of a kick to keep you sipping slowly. The Old Fashioned was equally impressive: sweet yet balanced, served in a stylish glass with a unique holder that made the experience feel elevated. For food, the chicharrón with fried yuca and tostones was perfection. The pork was fried to a crisp golden shell without being greasy, and seasoned just right--not too salty, but enough to make every bite crave-worthy. The yuca and tostones were cut to the perfect thickness for even cooking, with a satisfying crunch outside and tender inside, especially when dipped into their garlicky sauce. The cheese sticks are an absolute must-have--crispy outside, oozy inside, and dangerously addictive. And the arepas? Exceptionally good--stuffed with beans, cheese, beef, and sweet plantains for that perfect salty-sweet balance. Every plate showed attention to texture, seasoning, and presentation. Price Considering the quality of ingredients, creative plating, and generous portions, the prices felt fair for a fusion dining experience. The cocktails were crafted with care and worth every penny. Appetizers could easily be shared, making it easy to get variety without breaking the bank. Environment We sat outside and it was amazing for groups, dates, and inside it is super cool. The décor is not fancy but really fun Austin style. There is a section bar where they play music which I want to try. Service The service was cool and amicable. It looks the server was new but he did give recommendations. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great pairing suggestions. Dishes came out at a good pace, and drinks were refreshed quickly. You could tell the staff was proud of the food they were serving, which made the whole experience even better. Overall: If you're looking for a place where Latin flavors meet creative execution, this spot is worth the visit. Come hungry, order a mix of small plates, and don't skip the cocktails--or the garlic sauce.

My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. I am so torn on this place. My friends and I were looking for a cute spot for a moms night out…read more(just 3 of us). We decided to make a reservation at Odds Bar and give it a try. Arrived right on time and the parking lot was PACKED, though the restaurant appeared nearly empty except for a loud networking event going on in a devoted side room open to the main area. No one at the desk to greet us, just a sign to seat ourselves, so we did. Guess reservations don't really matter? It was quite a while before anyone approached us, but when a server finally came he was very nice and helpful. We ordered drinks and entrees. It took an ABSURD amount of time before the drinks came out...maybe because of the event? Not sure. The bar and restaurant seemed nearly empty otherwise and the bartender didn't look busy or rushed at all. Luckily we had intended to make a night of it, so we were able to wait. It was hard to hear each other talk, though, due to the networking event. When the drinks finally came, mine was AMAZING. Like, one of the best drinks I've had in Austin, and maybe one of the best of my life? Weeks later I'm still thinking about it. I got the Going Bananas and it was simple perfection. The food also took a while to come out, but at least we had drinks to tide us over. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and was disappointed. The toppings were spare and didn't offer much to elevate the dish, and the chicken itself, while tasty, was very dry in parts, to the extent where I was dipping it in ketchup to get it to go down easy. The bun and fries were good. Our server seemed to have evaporated into thin air after delivering food, so we had no water refills and had to vye for attention to pay the check. Eventually the bartender came and helped us pay, and seemed terse and annoyed when we asked to split our check. (Three middle-aged women...seems more likely a split than combined?) All in all, we were there about 3 hours total, mostly because service took so long. Such a bizarre experience. I would NOT come here if you are on any kind of timeline. The only way I'll come back is to sit at the bar and have drinks only.

As for the salmon, it wasn't overly seasoned and was incredibly flaky. It was a good size as well. For breakfast, The Breakfast Plate's eggs were cooked perfectly with appropriately cooked bacon. I enjoyed the potatoes that accompanied it as well. The Buttermilk Pancakes meal was a failure though. The pancakes were gooey inside. My server, Amy, offered to have them remade, but I declined the offer. So I accepted a parfait, which was easily one of the best I've had in Austin. The granola with the berries were perfectly balanced, and the granola wasn't super chunky. Amy was 100% invested in my meal satisfaction. The dining room is quite pretty with lovely set tables. I walked into Surfing Crab hoping for one of those unapologetically messy seafood boils -- the kind…read morewhere you're tying your hair back, rolling up your sleeves, and mentally preparing to smell like garlic butter for the rest of the day. Sadly... this wasn't that experience. I ordered the boil with a pound of crab, head‑on shrimp, squid, corn, and those thin little sausage slices you see at most Cajun spots. The seasoning landed squarely in the middle -- not offensive, not impressive, just sitting there like it was waiting for someone to give it direction. I asked for hot, but what I got tasted more like a medium that didn't want to commit. And the shrimp? Head‑on and not deveined. That gave them a gamy, muddy undertone that took away from the whole boil. At this price point, deveining shouldn't be a luxury add‑on. We also tried the appetizer sampler -- calamari, egg rolls, cheese sticks -- and everything tasted suspiciously similar, like it all took the same little swim in the same fryer without a break. Nothing was terrible, but nothing had personality. These were the kind of appetizers you can find anywhere, and not the kind you remember later. My partner ordered the shrimp po'boy, and while the portion was generous, the breading overwhelmed the shrimp. He ended up peeling most of it off just to get to the actual protein. When the breading becomes the main character, that's a sign the dish needs editing. Now, the mixed drinks? Those were actually good -- balanced, not overly sweet, and honestly the highlight of the meal. And I have to give credit where it's due: our waitress was attentive, friendly, and checked on us consistently without hovering. She did everything right. The food just didn't match her level of service. And look... I'm not trying to be dramatic, but I've had better crab at HEB during crawfish season for a fraction of the price. When your grocery‑store boil is hitting harder than the restaurant version, that's saying something. Overall, Surfing Crab wasn't a disaster, but it wasn't memorable either. For the price and the concept, I expected more depth, more spice, and more care in the prep. This one's a pass for me -- especially when I know I can get fresher, better‑seasoned seafood elsewhere without the premium price tag.
