But as the last review explains it's the young employees that really ruin the service. I thought that was weird, and I would have forgotten that was even an option if my friend hadn't reminded me. I got a chicken grain bowl for myself and a falafel greens + grain bowl for my friend. The flavours didn't hit the same, but they still had a good taste. I am still fond of their tzatziki and crazy feta sauces. I feel that they gave such small scoops of toppings. I crave a chicken bowl once a week and appreciate cava for providing all the nutrients that goes in their bowls. My go to is lentils, rice, supergreens, chicken, eggplant, tzatziki and crazy feta sauce. They are definitely more expensive than chipotle. Usually around $17 for me given that I ask for an extra scoop of meat which makes it to be a normal meal size imo. A few weeks ago the rice was undercooked but otherwise very reliable and the staff is super friendly. They do not have hot sauce so I actually bring my own with me. read more

Out running errands on Saturday and looking for quick place with healthy options and came across this place on Yelp. We decided to give it a try. Unassuming strip mall type location in large shopping center of Wolf Ranch. Weather was great and they have outdoor seating. Ordering process is like a Chipotle but with Mediterranean food so you can tailor your order to your tastes. All food was fresh, flavorful and good portions for cost. The variety of fruit flavored drinks (like Frescas light flavored waters not too sweet and very refreshing) were perfect for outdoor patio seating. First and foremost, the service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is great. The restaurant is clean as well as the ladies' restroom. However, the food is lacking. The falafels do not taste fresh they taste like mushy, sweaty balls. The color of the falafels is a dark brown on the inside, there aren't any visible chickpeas, but the overall ball is too soft and not crunchy. They started serving white sweet potatoes as a protein and they should learn how to properly cook potatoes because they were still hard throughout. Potatoes have to be soft to be consumed. They cook white rice like Chipotle which is bland and flavorless. Portion sizes given are extremely small and if you ask for more, it is considered an extra charge. read more

Food is great, service is lacking. I was overwhelmed with all the choices. That being said, I did tell the line server that it was my 1st time and had never been, and she just looked at me. I let the people behind me go ahead so I could watch them order since I was still overwhelmed with no new information. The workers were nice , but it would be so helpful if they could explain the process or at least make a recommendation on flavor pairings, anything really... So much potential here- I would have bought a drink or pita if I had known those were options. I saw other people with fun drinks as I was leaving. The serving station is a bit messy, and multiple items were low or out so it didnt look appealing. Got the falafel instead but said "you might as well add the little bit that's there" regarding the carrots. After looking at my receipt, they charged me another $3.10 for that little bit of overcooked carrots (which was the price of an additional full portion of a main ingredient).
