Went to cava for the very first time and got the build your own bowl with a slice of peta bread. I mentioned the lovely gal assisting us that it was our first time there and she was great! I thought that was weird, and I would have forgotten that was even an option if my friend hadn't reminded me. I got a chicken grain bowl for myself and a falafel greens + grain bowl for my friend. The flavours didn't hit the same, but they still had a good taste. I am still fond of their tzatziki and crazy feta sauces. I feel that they gave such small scoops of toppings. I crave a chicken bowl once a week and appreciate cava for providing all the nutrients that goes in their bowls. My go to is lentils, rice, supergreens, chicken, eggplant, tzatziki and crazy feta sauce. They are definitely more expensive than chipotle. Usually around $17 for me given that I ask for an extra scoop of meat which makes it to be a normal meal size imo. A few weeks ago the rice was undercooked but otherwise very reliable and the staff is super friendly. They do not have hot sauce so I actually bring my own with me. read more

This might be the BEST value meal in the USA that costs the same as a tasteless unhealthy burger and fries. Have no idea why the complaints about service. Unassuming strip mall type location in large shopping center of Wolf Ranch. Weather was great and they have outdoor seating. Ordering process is like a Chipotle but with Mediterranean food so you can tailor your order to your tastes. All food was fresh, flavorful and good portions for cost. The variety of fruit flavored drinks (like Frescas light flavored waters not too sweet and very refreshing) were perfect for outdoor patio seating. First and foremost, the service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is great. The restaurant is clean as well as the ladies' restroom. However, the food is lacking. The falafels do not taste fresh they taste like mushy, sweaty balls. The color of the falafels is a dark brown on the inside, there aren't any visible chickpeas, but the overall ball is too soft and not crunchy. They started serving white sweet potatoes as a protein and they should learn how to properly cook potatoes because they were still hard throughout. Potatoes have to be soft to be consumed. They cook white rice like Chipotle which is bland and flavorless. Portion sizes given are extremely small and if you ask for more, it is considered an extra charge. read more

The Chicken and RightRice ( chickpea lentil healthy low carb alternative to rice) bowl was light but quite hearty with all the additional toppings like chicken, arugula, cucumber, feta, tomato, onion, and others was very filling and really a great choice for a late dinner. It was great to see a full complement of team members eager to provide good service and help introduce customers to this new concept in Georgetown and the manager on duty was helping out in the kitchen and counter area guiding and training team members, which was a welcome sight to see nowadays. They were out minus a tiny bit of overcooked carrot in the bottom of the warming bucket. The person scooping kindly apoligized for being out and said it would be another 15 minutes before they would have more, and we were tight on time. Got the falafel instead but said "you might as well add the little bit that's there" regarding the carrots. After looking at my receipt, they charged me another $3.10 for that little bit of overcooked carrots (which was the price of an additional full portion of a main ingredient). I wish this was communicated AS I WAS GETTING IT. I definitely would have chosen not to for $3.10. That seemed dishonest. Other than that, I had a good experience. read more

My new favourite fast food place. We got a Green and Grains bowl with olives, cukes and onion. I recommend any dressings on the side, so the bottom of the bowl doesn't get runny. We tried Cava last night. It was delicious! I would give the food a 4 but the staff brought it down to a 2 but I couldn't do that so ya got a 3. The service is lacking in several areas. They have at least 6 or more people working which appears to be adequate, they just seem like they don't have a rhythm. They were not welcoming and they were super sloppy! There were four families in front of us. So there were approximately 12 bowls ahead of us being made. Instead of helping build those bowls the server took our order so now there are 14 bowls waiting to be finished up. So our hot meatballs are freezing by the time we sit down to eat them. My advice, order to go and pick it up! I got the chicken & rightrice (protein rice) so good! My husband had one of the wraps, probably would have been better if the meatballs wouldn't have gotten cold. And we tried all the dips with pita chips, delish! But it ended up being FIFTY dollars for two people, bc we spent $25 in pita chips and all six dips! I didn't realize they were THREE dollars for half a cup of dip‍ We also enjoyed the drink selection. Lots of bottled and fountain drink options. I feel like this is a great addition to Georgetown but y'all gotta fix the staff vibe. I'll definitely be ordering on line or not go when there is a line of people. read more

Imagine my enjoyment of eating a veggie meal (all by myself! *working mom high five*) disappointment when the AC unit above me started dripping onto my food.... I unceremonioiusly threw it all away.
