Soup HALF full. This isn't the first time. They constantly are making mistakes. We ordered chicken noodle and got HALF filled broccoli cheddar soups...

Huge piece of wood in my son's Turkey sandwich kid meal.
    Courtney H.

There was a big piece of wood in my son's Turkey sandwich that he almost choked on. It looks almost like mulch(?) How it got there and how no one noticed as they out the sandwich together seems impossible. How could you not see this thing?? Luckily he didn't choke on it and I found it before he could bite into it. Ridiculous. And who gives an entire apple in a kid's meal and doesn't slice it up?? Will never come here again. I should've looked at reviews before I even tried it.

Turkey chili and Toasted steak and white cheddar sandwich - Alright at Best
    James W.

I don't think the staff at this location can read OR maybe they just don't care !!! A few weeks ago I ordered Mrs. Texas' favorite sandwich from here, Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich with NO mixed greens. It came loaded with mixed greens .. Yesterday Mrs. Texas and I meet my youngest daughter and granddaughter here for lunch. Mrs. Texas ordered her favorite sandwich, Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich with NO mixed greens, you guessed it, it came loaded with mixed greens. I ordered the Toasted Steak and White Cheddar Sandwich with EXTRA pickled onions, and EXTRA spicy pickle chips. As you can see from my photo, there were no EXTRA pickled onions and no EXTRA spicy pickle chips. It comes with the pickled onions, but the spicy pickle chips were an add on, so I had no spicy pickle chips at all !!! Mrs. Texas double checked the receipt and it's all on there !!! So they either don't care OR they can't read !!! I wish a manager would respond and tell me which one it is !!! That's all I've got to say about that !!! The turkey chili was barely warm and my sandwich was a disappointment because it wasn't correct.

Such a tiny meal! Felt like a kids meal

Almost $14 dollars and was so hungry still after I ate (I got water). Plus the "chicken bacon rancher" was a very sad sandwich and didn't even really have anything in it? I ordered it as is. I was just sad that I was still hungry had to share for anyone who is like me and wants to be full after eating out.

chipotle chicken avocado melt sandwich, bread, and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup
    Sandra K.

I went through their drive thru and ordered a chipotle chicken avocado melt sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. It's quite expensive since it's $10 for half a sandwich, a cup of soup and either a side of an apple, a slice of French baguette, or chips. They didn't hand me or offer me my receipt which I would have appreciated and accepted. Their bread is cold and thrown in the to-go bag without any separate packaging, I forgot we had the options of an apple, chips or bread because they didn't ask which one we wanted, they just automatically give me bread, I would have much more preferred the chips. I absolutely loved the broccoli cheddar soup and the sandwich was good but nothing to write home about.

    Where's the avocado?

Food was good. Delivery was on time and soup was still warm. But. No baguette for the soup. No SPOON for the soup. No napkins.

There is a reason for such low reviews. Horrible customer service. Horrible products. Even the drinks are awful.

Service was good as usual. Except our server wasn't as attentive as they usually are. And my friend ordered one soup and she received another one. When she asked the server about it he said they were out of the one she ordered so they just gave her that one instead. They never even asked her they just switched it out. I thought that was odd. Anywho, I ordered the turkey Swiss croissant with a side of fruit for the first time. It was on the Sunday brunch menu. It was a bit too greasy for me so I won't order it again. My fave menu item Is the chicken salad on a croissant with a house salad and lemon vinaigrette. I'll probably stick to that from now on.

Spoiler: mission accomplished, but the nap still happened because everything was that delicious. Started with a classic mimosa and their white sangria - both were bright, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink. The white sangria had me convinced I could adult all day on fruit and good vibes (reality check: two sips in and I was already planning my next visit). The food? Oh man. The quiche of the house was fluffy, flavorful, and basically hugged me from the inside - paired perfectly with their house salad, which is loaded with fresh strawberries, candied pecans, and goat cheese that makes you feel fancy even in jeans. Then came the star: the croissant steak and egg sandwich. Buttery croissant + juicy steak + perfectly cooked egg = the kind of sandwich that makes you question every other breakfast decision you've ever made. I may have audibly moaned. No regrets. Huge shout-out to our amazing waitress, Grace! She was warm, funny, spot-on with recommendations, and made the whole experience feel like brunch with a friend who just happens to know exactly what you need. Grace, you're a gem - thank you for the great service! The vibe is cozy cottage-core perfection, and the whole place just feels like a hug from your coolest aunt who knows how to pour a drink. If you're anywhere near Georgetown, stop what you're doing and go. Tell them John sent you - or don't, because I want the table to myself next time. Highly recommend. 10/10, will brunch again (probably tomorrow). And if Grace is working, even better!

My mom and son ordered the homemade wonton soup and both really enjoyed it. Broth needed a touch of soy sauce though. I had the Vermicelli noodle bowl with pork and my son had the same. My mom went with the pan fried noodles with combo beef, chicken and shrimp. Everything was outstanding. This vermicelli bowl was fresh, crisp, light and flavorful. The dressing was light and just needed some spice so I added some siracha. Pork was marinated, tender and plentiful. We were so hungry so no photos of the egg rolls but they were homemade, and delicious! Crisp, filled with veggies like carrot, daikon and bean sprouts with ground pork and well seasoned. I wrapped mine in the accompanied lettuce leaves and dipped into the rice vinegar based sweet dipping sauce. Mom's combo pan fried noodles was huge and she barely came up for conversation enjoying every bite. My son tried a shrimp and said it was really fresh and the brown soy based sauce was well balanced. The restaurant is clean, well lit, but sounds tend to echo so nearby conversations are easily heard. The bench seats could use come cushions to help with comfort and sound. The owner is very attentive and we will be back soon! You'll pay at the register after dining. This was out second visit.

Check out their online menu for a complete list of their craft cocktails and local beer offerings. Highlights were the basic classic breakfast: applewood smoked bacon, 2 Vital Farms eggs, potato hash, and Texas toast. Three of us ordered our eggs served differently, and they all arrived perfecto. Another highlight was the chicken and biscuits. This serving is huge and was a struggle for most to finish. The chicken breast arrived crispy, lightly battered as advertised. The maple sage gravy and syrup honey butter provide a sweet taste to the dish. Two of us struggled to remember what business occupied this location before Goodfolks. Thank you, Elise, for your 2022 review, which reminded us that the Burger University was the previous tenant. I would recommend reservations, as they did get pretty busy.
