We arrived, one guy came out, gave our name, he went back in and was never seen again. Finally we go in, find our food in a bag on the To-go pick up shelf. Get the sandwiches home, every slice of cucumber tastes like it's been dipped in some cleaning fluid (cut on a board that hadn't been properly washed after being wiped down or similar). Boy, has Jimmy Johns taken a nosedive in quality! I normally cannot afford $60-75 for a meal for 4, so we rarely eat here. I had a coupon discount in my app, so decided to splurge. What an awful mistake! First, I was surprised the subs were done so quickly, but noticed when I arrived that the restaurant was completely empty (probably an indicator). I picked up my order and drove back home. Little did I know, I should have actually checked the subs in the store. None of the 4 subs had the cheese or any condiments ordered or listed on the ticket. How does a beef and cheddar literally have no cheddar? None of the 4 were cut in two and there was no mayo, mustard, or any other condiment. That's tough to swallow with a toasted, dry, scratchy sub. Meanwhile, I was still out $45+, but then had to find something else for dinner. I've only ever not eaten or served something ordered one other time, but the subs were completely inedible. If you think you're craving the good old version of Jimmy Johns you remember, keep dreaming, as it's long gone! Cannot brag on this location enough! Our organization needed 25 box lunches for a 6pm meeting (July 26, 2021), and the order was supposed to have been placed at 11am. But we dropped the ball, and when my boss asked -- at 5pm -- if the order got placed, I panicked. I called them out of desperation: "Is there any way you could do this in less than an hour's time?" I heard the young man asking his manager, and I could hear her say, "Yes, we can do it. I'll stay and help." Needless to say, they kicked butt! The boxes were ready 10 minutes before I needed them, I picked them up with no trouble, and got them to our meeting site at exactly 6:00. I was the "hero" in our group, but in reality, it was Bailey (the manager) and her crew of two that night (I'm sorry I didn't get their names!) that saved the day. When I told Bailey that it was nice of her to hang around even when she should have been gone, she said, "Well, I couldn't just leave them to do it by themselves." Now THAT is a manager -- going above and beyond. Of course, the sandwiches got rave reviews, but it's Bailey and her Monday night crew that deserve all the kudos. We were a regular customer of this Jimmy John's ordering subs once a week, which up to this point had always been great. On 5/11/22 we placed our usual order of two Italian subs, and what we got was a few pieces of meat, hardly any cheese, no lettuce, no tomatoes, no onion, no condiments. We put in a complaint which went to the corporate office. They responded that franchises are individually owned and they would pass this along to the owner. We have never gotten an apology or any refund for subs missing a lot of ingredients and that we paid full price for. The person who wrapped up these subs had to realize something was wrong and didn't even care. And to not get a response back from our complaint is unacceptable. The bread was not fresh or hadn't been baked long enough or something but it was definitely not up the the caliber we expected. Claims that they cut lettuce at 3/32 inches when it is actually thicker. According to my calculations, paper is .004 inches thick, the lettuce, 3/32 equates to .09, which means that it should be exactly 22 times thinner, but the lettuce was thicker. And using experimental procedure, we obtained a piece of "jimmy John" paper and stacked 22 of them, and deduced that the lettuce is in fact, bigger than 3/32 inches. Thank you. read more
