Love P. Terry's but this location is consistently terrible with wait times. No matter the time of day, dinner rush, afternoon, later at night, they have 10+ cars. I went through it 2x and never again. Took me fifteen plus minutes each time. Why can other locations move through a line much faster and this one seemingly can't? Very bad. We hadn't been to P. Terry's in awhile, and decided to give this drive-through a try after a recent doctor's appointment. Maybe we'd forgotten that everything is made fresh, but the wait was l.o.n.g. When we finally got the bag of cheeseburgers and fries, we still had a 10 minute drive home. I sampled the fries right away and they were lukewarm, soggy, and greasy. They must've been sitting in the bag while the burgers were being prepared. While the potato flavor was good, these wouldn't qualify as fries in my book. Ick. First time here for breakfast. Egg sandwich is $2 on Wednesday- scrambled egg with cheese sauce on a hamburger bun. You can order with bacon but then not $2. Fresh egg and bun but missed the meat and maybe some seasoning? The potatoes were chunks of baked potatoes that were grilled on the outside. Also could use some seasoning. On March 23rd, I was on my way home from San Marcos to Dallas. That day was my second time stopping at this location because it's the last P. Terry's, I'll drive past. Since there's no P. Terry's back in Dallas, I made a little bigger order than I usually do for just myself. I ordered a cheeseburger, chicken burger, veggie burger, crispy chicken bites, and a side of fries. As I was waiting, the manager apologized to me multiple times for the wait. I genuinely didn't even notice that I was waiting for a while. Because of the "wait" I had to do, he ended up giving me 2 big cookies because he thought I was waiting for a while. I even got an extra side of fries. Overall, I just wanted to say thank you so much for the spectacular hospitality. I genuinely didn't notice that I was waiting for a while nor was I bothered and I was not expecting anything, so I really appreciate the acts of service that was given to me. Absolutely horrible we were the only ones in the restaurant, we sat and waited forever to get two cheeseburgers and two fries We had to go and ask for them while they were just sitting in the back on the counter Fryes were luke warm at best and burger was burned The burgers were dry, and cold along with the fries, worst experience I've ever had. I got a vegetarian burger with pepper jack and extra lettuce and tomato. It was really tasty, extra juicy from the sauce and tomatoes. Bun was perfect, tender and fresh. Really like the retro style of this chain. This location was very busy, but the staff were quick getting through the line. It was clean inside. My favorite part were the fries, they give a good amount and they are nice and crispy. The cheeseburger was not great, I asked for grilled onions but they were not grilled well (seemed soggy). It was very underwhelming. Given the price it wasn't bad, but similar places with similar prices are better. Plenty parking outside. This is a drive thru as well and it was also busy! read more

The most upsetting fast food order I've ever had. First of all I was overcharged. I ordered plain beef Patties and was charged for double cheeseburgers. We went here on Friday night as traffic was terrible and did not know what to eat and we always wanted to try this place out. The menu is very small and condense which I like. They have the famous banana nut bread and cookies. The cookies are premade and not warm when getting them. We also ordered the burger and fries. It is an overall greese feast, but with fries and burgers. The burger was alright and was moist and was not bad. The fries was actually really good and I loved their sauce. The bathroom were dirty and that is my biggest complaint. Service was great. The milk shake was fabulous. Unfortunately, my wife and my stomach was not well after all of the eating. P Terrys, Please return to normalcy and make a WOMENS and MENS bathroom. There is one without a urinal and one with a urinal, so clearly they used to be properly designated. Women should not have to share a bathroom with men. Also, please clean the restrooms better. Good food, good prices. Just fix the bathrooms. read more

Ambiance--EXCELLENT. The 70s retro theme is so fun. At the same time they've nailed the design and interior with the minimalist style of plants, lights and other decor. Clean but very trendy and fun design. Makes me instantly happy just sitting there looking around at all the decor like I was teleported to another era :). Service-- great. Fast and friendly Food--fries and burger are all filled with real ingredients which made me feel better about the meal. The ladies running the drive thru window couldn't have cared less to be there. We came through at about 8 PM, mind you they close at 11 PM so it's not like we were trying to slide an order in right before close. We attempted to place our order, and couldn't even complete it without them cutting us off and just giving us the total. When we got to the window we finished adding what we didn't get to earlier. Only to be ignored while the employees carried on a side conversation right at the window. When they finally turned around to us, they asked us, "so what is it you wanted?"...we were so fed up with it that we told them to just delete whatever they did ring in for our order and we left. From the outside looking in I can see why this place is so popular and busy. The themed decor screams nostalgia and Americana, that "classic diner" feel with the open kitchen... it's nice! The food is.. well it's just okay. There was nothing wrong with any of our burgers, they just didn't "wow" us. It's priced competitively with other burger places in the area, so that is a definite plus. I appreciate that it's cooked to order, that their ingredients are all fresh and local, and their friendly/efficient staff. Disgusting, We walked in the moment they opened and nothing but crumbs, trash and fry's on the floors. Napkins were left out all over the tables, There wasn't simple condiments available. Don't know what the vibe is all about. Must be a local thing. The burgers were meh....the patties were missing seasoning, maybe it was the batch of burger they made or mine missed some salt and pepper. The bun was sad, squished and not toasted. The only thing I like were the fries. Original cut fries and cooked well done. The service was fast but the quality was not. This place is huge, open space with lots of seats and patio room. A plus was the sand box. My daughters ended up getting down and playing in it. But with that said I think it's the last time I'll try this joint or maybe I'm just an In&out guy. read more

Third P Terrys we pulled over for as we were looking to dine in. The first two northbound out of Austin on I-35 were drive thru only. Glad this one had a dining room. It was mostly clean, but pretty busy so I understand some tables might not be bussed right away. We both ordered cheeseburgers, mine a combo so we could share the fries. Hers was custom- meat, bread and cheese- and it was fine with one exception. Mine was "as it comes" and sadly, it was cold. By that I mean the meat was barely warm and the bun was actually cold, like it was sitting on ice. I returned it, and the staffer (manager??) traded it for another one, which was hot. We both realized we made a mistake ordering the single patty. We both seem to recall the meat was thicker on previous visits, but that was a few years ago. We both said we would only order the double meat going forward. We both like their burgers, they just need more meat than the single patty offers. The fries are great! Hot and fresh. We will be back, but advise upgrading to double meat. read more

Fries and a double cheeseburger were my order. The quality of the double cheeseburger was decent but on par with McDonald's. The burgers are decently priced and deeelicious! We make a trip from Waco for these bad boys. The staff were on their A game with slanging them burgers out(who! I see you!) Nummy nummeh, get in mah tummeh. I'd write more but I need to get on the road to go get me more. They take cash or card. Parking varies depending on which location you go to. We drove by so many P. Terry's to and from San Antonio, we just couldn't come home without giving this place a try. So glad that of all the locations, this is the one we ended up stopping at because the customer service was great! The guy at the counter was very patient with us as we ordered and customized all our burgers (life with 3 picky kids...lol). He even let me try the special sauce with some fries to decide whether we wanted it our burgers or not. Once we got our food, the burgers were hot, fresh, delicious, and big! So were the orders of fries. Very filling. The restaurant was very clean and they also had outdoor seating.
