Was in the Jarrell, Texas area for work today, and I asked my customers where I could find a good burger close by. The unanimous answer was "the cafe at the Texas Truck Wash" in a gas station. Looked like a hole in the wall cafe, but glad we tried it!! Bacon Cheeseburger 9/10 - thick and juicy patty with fresh veggies. The bacon was meh, but the burger overall was incredible! Curly Fries 7/10 - slightly crunchy and great flavor. Sweet Tea 5/10 - it's was decent. Atmosphere 6/10 - no frills, hole in the wall cafe. Service 6.5/10 - it was ok. The staff overall were nice. Definitely recommend this cafe!!

We just moved to the city, and decided to try this place out for lunch. To be honest, we weren't expecting much, because we haven't been lucky lately with hole in the walls. But it was great! I had the melt on rye and my bf had a double cheeseburger. We were pleasantly surprised and left very satisfied. It would be awesome if they stayed open later, since we'd much rather support local, but maybe that will change as they grow. Tip: Easy to park- Connected to a gas station. Order at the food counter, and pay over at the clerk of the gas station.

On our way to Dallas we stopped here for breakfast. Situated inside a service station, this place is simple and no frills with a menu that may be simplistic but serves up a delicious home cooked taste. We were greeted almost immediately and asked what we would like to drink as we took a seat. We asked for coffee and were given our menus and after a few minutes were asked if we were ready to order. Both my partner in crime and I went for omelettes (I asked for a cheese and sausage both minus bread and hash browns) and it didn't take long for it to get served up. As we waited, we chatted and observed at least a couple of what we assumed to be regulars coming in to either chat with the employees as they purchased from the service station side of the business. It was kind of nice to be in that kind of environment for an early morning Friday. Our omelettes were hot and tasty and gave us that morning pick me up we were seeking.

This place is filthy. I saw rats running across the floor while I ate my food. The toilets were filthy as well. Be aware.

It's just a little hole in the wall but the burgers and other menu items are ALWAYS delicious and amazing. Would 100% recommend you try it.

There was ample parking in a strip mall lot. Tables were pushed together to accommodate our group. No other customers. Inside decor was pleasant. There was a plastic basket with a few napkins and some unwrapped knives and forks on the tables. Seemed unsanitary. Everything became a process for us as patrons. Coffee cups were tiny and refills were not gotten unless requested. Then wait. Refilling at one end of the group of tables and passing refilled cups down the table was the process. . Had to request coffee creamer. The ordering at either end of the table by 2 waitresses. Food delivery was chaotic. One cook (owner) who made the food - about 2 entrees at a time. Servers came out with plates held up in the air that we had to figure out whose breakfast it was. Dysfunctional. Several were not quite right - meat, egg prep or potatoes vs fruit. Being respectful, ladies waited a bit to eat since not everyone was served. When it was clear food service was not going to make it possible for everyone to eat at the same time, those who had food were encouraged to eat while their food was at least warm. Servers didn't provide or offer syrup, butter and sufficient utensils. At least we were able to visit despite the chaos created by the inept servers. My meal was one of the last served and I'd lost interest. By this time - more than 30 minutes after first ones were delivered - I felt awkward then eating when others were long finished and ready to leave. Owner came out and apologized for service issues bc of hiring/training. Small business enigma. She was more focused on explaining buffet type meals offered on different days and catering ops. Time to go and no checks - individual or otherwise. Had to pay at a counter where the 2 servers stood trying to attribute their order tickets to each of us after we listed our order. Baked goods at the register but servers didn't try to promote. Issues with credit cards so most used cash. Sorry but I can't recommend.

Our server was very sweet and efficient- there when we needed her but not hovering. The food is glorious. They are a bit on the expensive side, but the food is so good we did not mind the prices. I had the chicken and waffles - nicely crisp chicken breast with very tasty waffles. My husband and granddaughter-in-law had the steak and eggs - with really good potatoes and onions; both were SO impressed with the flavor and the preparation. (I will be having this next time!). My grandson had 'Hong Kong' French toast, which I believe was made with Japanese milk bread and had berries and a custard. Also came with eggs and bacon. He could not speak highly enough about it. The portions are LARGE. We all took food home. I shared my plate with my great granddaughter (2 yrs) and still took food home! Honestly, we had booked another restaurant for the weekend of Mother's Day (day before) and we canceled that reservation so that we could go back to Farmers Commons! It's that good. Also, all the folks working when we were there were very sweet with my great granddaughter; we appreciated that. HIGHLY recommend for brunch. Now i want to try dinner too!

Service was good as usual. Except our server wasn't as attentive as they usually are. And my friend ordered one soup and she received another one. When she asked the server about it he said they were out of the one she ordered so they just gave her that one instead. They never even asked her they just switched it out. I thought that was odd. Anywho, I ordered the turkey Swiss croissant with a side of fruit for the first time. It was on the Sunday brunch menu. It was a bit too greasy for me so I won't order it again. My fave menu item Is the chicken salad on a croissant with a house salad and lemon vinaigrette. I'll probably stick to that from now on.

Spoiler: mission accomplished, but the nap still happened because everything was that delicious. Started with a classic mimosa and their white sangria - both were bright, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink. The white sangria had me convinced I could adult all day on fruit and good vibes (reality check: two sips in and I was already planning my next visit). The food? Oh man. The quiche of the house was fluffy, flavorful, and basically hugged me from the inside - paired perfectly with their house salad, which is loaded with fresh strawberries, candied pecans, and goat cheese that makes you feel fancy even in jeans. Then came the star: the croissant steak and egg sandwich. Buttery croissant + juicy steak + perfectly cooked egg = the kind of sandwich that makes you question every other breakfast decision you've ever made. I may have audibly moaned. No regrets. Huge shout-out to our amazing waitress, Grace! She was warm, funny, spot-on with recommendations, and made the whole experience feel like brunch with a friend who just happens to know exactly what you need. Grace, you're a gem - thank you for the great service! The vibe is cozy cottage-core perfection, and the whole place just feels like a hug from your coolest aunt who knows how to pour a drink. If you're anywhere near Georgetown, stop what you're doing and go. Tell them John sent you - or don't, because I want the table to myself next time. Highly recommend. 10/10, will brunch again (probably tomorrow). And if Grace is working, even better!
