We have been meaning to stop at the granary as we always see it as we're driving down I-35. I'm glad we finally made the stop !! They have a decent drink list, all with good prices ! Beers range from 2.50 to about 6 bucks for craft I believe . They have 4 food trucks on site , a lot of open and SHADED ( thank god ) space. We came on sept 3 and it was over 100 degrees but the shade way KEY. They have a little playground for kids that my kids enjoyed. The brisket may have been the best brisket I've had in along time ! And their BBQ sauce IS the best I've ever tasted. Try it. You'll see. My wife ordered the brisket grilled cheese which was LOADED with delicious brisket , she did say the cheese most likely was like a Kraft single processed cheese which she didn't approve of but all around this place was great and we'll definitely be back ! There was live music from 1-3 and he was really good. I forgot his name. But I love this property it was very chill and I can see my self coming here on a Friday or Saturday night !!

Very cool outdoor venue with bar, bbq, food trucks, and live music. Plenty of parking, seating, and family friendly. Staff at the bar were very friendly and welcoming. It was a perfect spring day so they had a good crowd. The only drawback was out of the six food trucks parked on the premises only one was open. The Mr was in the mood for a burger so we ordered from Curb Food Truck. Bacon cheeseburger, at $13 was a bit small for the price, mostly bun, and lacking in flavor. It does not come with fries, all sides are separate. The bbq made and sold by The Granary looked and smelled delicious so we will try that next time or one of the other food trucks if they're open. We will definitely be back since there were more positives than negatives.

I had the pleasure of trying this excellent barbecue restaurant in Jarrell, Tx called @thegranarytx . Our friend @rylan.mikeska hooked it up and everything was fantastic! We had brisket, pork ribs, sausage, pork belly burnt ends, half chicken and all the sides. Oh, and a brisket smash burger! Everything was cooked to perfection and we couldn't have had a more tasty lunch. Hope everyone checks them out for a good time!

    Great food!

What a fun place! Great food and nice environment! We went for brunch and had a cup of coffee at the Coffee truck while we waited for the food and other drinks to open up. While we were waiting, we met Fred the Rooster as he meandered over looking for handouts. We ordered the Burnt End Bloody Mary to drink- What a great drink! For food, we ordered the pork ribs with Jalepino coleslaw and sausage with the cheesy squash! What great food! Cant wait to go back in an evening for live music!

Want to get out of Austin on a Saturday afternoon? Why not head up the road to The Granary in Jarrell. I live in town, so I'm usually here when I'm hungry. First, dress for summer because it's outside seating only. Second, there's usually live music on the weekend so check out fb to see who's playing and when. Want to try something new? The Granary has some unusual cocktails, so check out the Key Lime Pie one. For lunch, I always get the brisket sandwich or the chopped, depending on if I want to get messy. The barbecue sauce is Texas-style strong on pepper, not Southern sweet, and I love it. If you're a brisket fan, then try their straight brisket sandwich so you can really get their barbecue POV. For sides, if you get there early, you can try the pork belly green beans, but that's only if you're there before us locals. The Granary is a great place to bring a big group, but there's no playscape or AC, so choose your company accordingly. You'll know you're at The Granary when you see Rojo, the rooster wandering around.

    Burnt-end Bloody Mary.... it's a meal!

Very good food and I LOVED the bbq sauce. German potatoe salad was great too. Seating is outside but it was a great day to be there!

This is a true Gem of Jarrell. My family loves to go to the food trucks and the fact that they have live music is a huge plus.

The ambiance is marvelous! They have steins everywhere and the decor is pretty neat! I would love to come here during an evening to see how different it is! They had 2 staff working on a Saturday afternoon which is understandable! After a twenty minute wait we were seated and the server came and took our order. He was very nice and helped us order since we couldn't pronounce much on the menu. We got a decent amount of food for 4 of us! I got the Brie with cranberry sauce it was a 4 out of 5. I did not know it would be fried which is why I took one point away. My friends got the potato salad and it was delish! It came warm and was very flavorful! They also got a pitcher of Ratler beer which tasted just like juice! It was delish! My friends got the soup and the Reuben. All were pretty tasty! My husband ordered the Bretzel which was delicious. Then we got two slices of cake. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE BEE STING CAKE! It was divine and I plan on buying a whole one for my birthday! It has almonds, honey, Bavarian sweet cream and Bavarian sweet bread it is phenomenal! I cannot recommend it enough! Each slice was $7 but so well worth it!

Inside you'll find some booths along the perimeter of the room and large, round tables with wonderful upholstered chairs in the center. Can't say enough about the comfort of the chairs- very upscale. Our server was very sweet and efficient- there when we needed her but not hovering. The food is glorious. They are a bit on the expensive side, but the food is so good we did not mind the prices. I had the chicken and waffles - nicely crisp chicken breast with very tasty waffles. My husband and granddaughter-in-law had the steak and eggs - with really good potatoes and onions; both were SO impressed with the flavor and the preparation. (I will be having this next time!). My grandson had 'Hong Kong' French toast, which I believe was made with Japanese milk bread and had berries and a custard. Also came with eggs and bacon. He could not speak highly enough about it. The portions are LARGE. We all took food home. I shared my plate with my great granddaughter (2 yrs) and still took food home! Honestly, we had booked another restaurant for the weekend of Mother's Day (day before) and we canceled that reservation so that we could go back to Farmers Commons! It's that good. Also, all the folks working when we were there were very sweet with my great granddaughter; we appreciated that. HIGHLY recommend for brunch. Now i want to try dinner too!
