First visit to this establishment on the primary road through Florence. White board outside with Italian food specials which set an expectation very different than what was inside. Later afternoon. Walked into a low lit environment and immediately see a big brown couch with a child wearing headphones laying on it. Adjacent to it are several rows of tables pushed together where 8-10 could be seated. Very large bar and tables for 4 in the back. One customer at the bar. Off-putting ambiance. What customer are they trying to attract? Is it a restaurant that a family can go to or a bar with food?? Table ends were cluttered with rolls of paper towels on a holder, lucite frames with specialty beer lists and faded fake flowers.... Menu was a laminated white paper listing appetizers, salads, burgers, pizza and sandwiches and some Italian specialties. Server Shy was able to spend a few minutes with us since she had no other customers. We asked about pizza and ordered a garden salad - both to share. Salad was served in a tin take out container and no dish ware or napkins. Flimsy paper plates provided. Good food - surprised. Salad content was ample with greens and fresh shredded carrots and tomatoes. House made ranch and jalapeno ranch dressings were excellent. Salad moisture wet through doubled plates. The thin crust pizza was very good - sauce and cheese were both sufficient and so were the other toppings. We've tried numerous local pizza restaurants in the area and none are very good. Sauce and oils from the pizza also bled through double plates and food lost temperature immediately. Wouldn't consider any sauced entrees since spillage would be evident. Cooks must be decent. There are several casual restaurants and other shops on this street but all are often empty. I see very little to consistently attract patrons. Parking is also limited.

Mom and pop type of spot. Owner came to our table and chatted us up for a bit and was really friendly. His family was eating there and he even offered his own appetizer to our table to try. Prices are great (I'm used to Dallas prices). A small, quaint, hidden gem in a small town.

For an easy day trip for a good meal and an easy drive out to the country, go to Florence and eat at the Beer Market! We enjoyed our Italian lunch and the staff were great, we will be back soon!

Happened to stop by because we were in town for a baseball game. So glad we stopped in! Our waitress was amazing! She was attentive, funny, happy, and super accommodating. Food was GREAT! Everything tasted homemade. Next time we are in Florence this will be a must stop.

Great addition to Florence! Nice beer selection on tap. Full bar. Good menu. The pizza was delicious as were the fried pickles. Unfortunately the ranch was basic Hidden Valley. We saw a few other menu items at other tables and they all looked great. Excited to go back and try them soon. Service was nice. Everyone was very friendly. They were pretty busy by the time we left but still checked on us to see if we needed anything. Nice ambiance. Exactly what you'd want for a small town bar and grill. Plenty of kids there eating with families.

That's only a quarter of the bottles!!!

Yum! We just moved to Florence. We have been too many pizza places. This is a hidden secret. Love the small town prices and service. The crust was so good , homemade, perfect on the cheese and great sauce. We will definitely be back. We also had the fried pickles. They were excellent!

Be patient, this is our second time in. First time was not busy & we had a great experience. Business is picking up & they are working towards a routine. Give them a try. We enjoyed the pizza the weekend before. It was tasty. Had the calzone, lasagna & cheese sticks this weekend. Not as tasty but could have been due to the timing of delivery. Still enjoyed the time, good to see business is picking up & they are working on developing a routine to keep customers happy! Neat venue.

It's a small town restaurant on Main Street, like I mentioned beforehand that there is little happening in this small town but this place is a hidden gem.

The ambiance is marvelous! They have steins everywhere and the decor is pretty neat! I would love to come here during an evening to see how different it is! They had 2 staff working on a Saturday afternoon which is understandable! After a twenty minute wait we were seated and the server came and took our order. He was very nice and helped us order since we couldn't pronounce much on the menu. We got a decent amount of food for 4 of us! I got the Brie with cranberry sauce it was a 4 out of 5. I did not know it would be fried which is why I took one point away. My friends got the potato salad and it was delish! It came warm and was very flavorful! They also got a pitcher of Ratler beer which tasted just like juice! It was delish! My friends got the soup and the Reuben. All were pretty tasty! My husband ordered the Bretzel which was delicious. Then we got two slices of cake. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE BEE STING CAKE! It was divine and I plan on buying a whole one for my birthday! It has almonds, honey, Bavarian sweet cream and Bavarian sweet bread it is phenomenal! I cannot recommend it enough! Each slice was $7 but so well worth it!

Loose Screw is a pretty chill spot with an impressive selection of craft beers on tap. The seating options are diverse, ranging from tables and stools upfront to a more lounge-like setup in the back with sofas and such. They organize their menu by number, which makes sense given the wide variety of options available. Just give them the number when you order, and you're good to go. Service was friendly and prompt on the busy day that I went. You can take your beer to go and explore the rest of the building/check out other vendors or stay put and check out the funky signage adorning the walls. It seems family-friendly. I saw several groups with young children. So, if you're bringing little ones along, this might be a plus. There are a few small snacks available for purchase or you can head down the hall for a bite elsewhere.

Our waitress was attentive and organized, taking everyone's order carefully and efficiently. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill due to a clear lack of communication in the kitchen. Multiple times throughout the evening, one or two plates were brought to our table by different servers asking if anyone had ordered them. In each case, the food either belonged to another table or wasn't what anyone in our party had ordered. Two members of our group didn't receive their hamburgers until after everyone else had finished eating and plates were already being cleared. Our waitress returned to the table several times to apologize and explained that there were only two people working in the kitchen and that they were short-staffed, as they hadn't expected the restaurant to be so busy on a Monday night. While we appreciated her efforts and professionalism, it was disappointing to see the owner standing near the kitchen throughout the evening and never once coming to our table to acknowledge or apologize for the situation. Although the two extremely late meals were removed from the bill, most of us received our food at least 10 minutes apart, making it difficult to enjoy the meal together. Things have changed since the new ownership--some for the better--but the service this evening left a lot to be desired. After five years of celebrating together at LHBM, this visit was unfortunately not memorable in a good way. The experience was bad enough that it doesn't make us eager to return.

I only stopped in for a drink, but the bartender was quick, efficient, and didn't give me that "I'm too busy to acknowledge you" look that some places love to serve before the actual drink. I ordered a double Hendrick's and tonic, and it was poured correctly: crisp, botanical, and strong enough that I knew I wasn't getting the "light‑handed lunchtime pour." No complaints there. What really stood out wasn't the drink, though -- it was the scene. Camp Briteside has this big outdoor turf area, and while I was there, it felt like a ghost of ten different activities happening at once. One corner had an impromptu soccer game, in another corner, there was beard contest taking place (don't ask me what the rules were -- I'm still trying to figure it out), and the rest of the space was filled with families, laughter, and people just hanging out like it was a neighborhood block party. It's definitely a spot built for groups -- birthday parties, team gatherings, family meetups, all of that. I've heard they host parties of 20 or more pretty regularly, and honestly, the space makes sense for it. It's casual, open, and easy to navigate. Now, would I come here on my own just for a drink? Probably not. It's a bit out of the way, and it's the kind of place that shines when there's an invite, an event, or a reason to be there. But if someone said, "Hey, we're meeting at Camp Briteside," I wouldn't hesitate to show up with a drink order ready. Overall, it's a solid hangout spot -- family‑friendly, group‑friendly, and perfect for those who like their social time with a side of organized chaos. #supportlocal

He literally only eats chicken tenders and quesadillas! They were tough, and poorly seasoned. If you're going to buy cheap quality meat, learn how to brine and tenderize. Such a great concept and so much potential ruined. If you do go, watch how many parents just have drinks from the bar, and no food while their kids run around and play. I'm sure I've been in a Dwell coffee in another location, so I'm guessing its a small chain. The place was dimly lit, clean and not very busy. A large coffee grinder sits at the front of the store (not sure if they use it, or it's just for show). There looked like enough seats to sit and work or study, and their seats were comfy, too. In the far corner, they had two local business' selling their wares, which I thought was great. One sold pots and plants, but I can't remember what the other one was selling. The shop also sells beers, hence the sub-name calling out coffee & tap. They had a small merch area (as most coffeeshops do now) and I really liked their growler bottles, but couldn't purchase one without filling it with beer (I don't drink beer, so that sucked). I asked for a Flat White (which wasn't on the menu) which the barista quickly replied that she hadn't had much experience with but would create one for me. I agreed and got the drink.  I didn't try any of their pastries/food, so I have no opinion there (maybe next time). It wasn't as rich as I was expecting, but it was flavorful. I may try a cappuccino on my next visit. For this area of Florence, I don't think there's a coffeeshop as good as this one, and I will be sure to return next time I'm nearby.
