Delicious bbq! Best brisket and ribs I've had! Moist, seasoned well, smoked perfectly. Sides are homemade!!!!!!! And all are very good! Large open rest with plenty of seating, always kept very clean. Workers always friendly and helpful.

Dropped in here for a change from my usual Belton BBQ stop, and glad I did! Really delicious food, and friendly, helpful staff. The place is clean and comfortable too!

This is the greasy mac and cheese - which is NOT even part of what we ordered.

This place is a clown show. I ordered 2 Brisket Bowls. Each one is advertised as having chopped prime brisket, Spanish Rice, Charro Beans, Street Corn and Pico. What we were given - in a bag so we did not see the garbage until we got home - was a greasy mac and cheese bowl with 3 slices of meat oozing on top. Look at the photos - it was so bad we tossed the "food" into the garbage and ordered a pizza. We should have known better - the people working there - there were 7 - are running around, nobody in charge, everything screwed up - and when we were there the place was close to empty. Avoid this rip off - go to Miller's down the street. The food is great, they have wonderful service and they do not steal your money and give you garbage you have to throw in the garbage.

Overall decent but probably won't go back. Food was pretty good. Brisket was tender but all the spices were on the fatty edge portion. So not real flavorful brisket. Street corn and green beans were great. Service was mediocre. Meat servers & side item servers were nice. Other workers seemed a little annoyed at having to work.

Ordered food for 7 people on New Years Eve. That's over $200 worth of food. I asked them to include pickles, onions, bbq sauce and bread. When I got home, this is what they gave me and just 6 slices of bread. For 7 people. I've gotten more when I've gone and gotten food for 2 people. It was so disappointing not having enough for everyone. The bread wasn't a big deal because we had some at home but we didn't have pickles, onions and especially not any of their bbq sauce. I've been coming here for years and have never experienced anything like this. Im hoping this was an isolated incident.

I am an avid Yelp user but the reviews got it wrong here. Anyone citing price is used to the dollar menu. A lot of work goes into creating BBQ and this place is no exception. Is it cheap? Not really. Is it worth every dollar?Absolutely. Get what you pay for! I've eaten BBQ from the Carolinas to Brownsville, Texas and all the places in between. This spot brings a culmination of some of my absolute favorites to one plate. Elote and Tres Leche as my sides to my Oaxaca sausage. Give me a break! 5 stars ain't enough. Could eat here everyday. Consistently delicious and always a favorite. See yall asap.

Brisket Queso nachos are brilliant meal by itself.

After church, we wanted some great brisket and ribs. We found both. You walk into a room where the meat is pulled and cut on the spot. The guy cutting was polite and recommended which cut to take first--top-notch experience. We picked up ribs, brisket queso nachos, specialty brisket street tacos, street corn and cole slaw. Ribs. Dad ordered too much, and my life is better for it. Just get them if you like pork ribs--slight sweetness. Brisket queso nachos and street tacos were rich, smoky, and delicious. Street corn and cole slaw were perfect sides. We enjoy "shuff's" once a month. So good.

We expected it to be busy, and it definitely was, so we tried to be understanding. Our waitress was very friendly but clearly overwhelmed with too many tables. At one point, my husband had to get up to get lemons after asking several times. We arrived around 10 AM and ordered breakfast. Unfortunately, about half of our group couldn't eat their meals. The bacon and sausage were poor quality, and the eggs were overcooked. The hashbrowns were only cooked on one side. The cinnamon rolls were the highlight--fresh, oversized, and enjoyed by everyone. The view is absolutely beautiful and was the best part of our visit. We may try again for lunch or dinner and hope for a better experience.

Bed is not too comfortable but the pillows are thankfully. Fridge was not plugged in when we first got into room but that was an easy fix, just a little inconvenient since we had some food items to transfer from our cooler bag. What BBQ place on the list happens to be open on a Monday (and quite frankly, seven days a week)? Miller's Smokehouse in Belton. Miller's Smokehouse has one of the longest tenures on the Texas Monthly Top 50, making the list four times in a row (the third-highest behind Louie Mueller and Snow's). They've got their business down. As I arrived, I parked in a free parking lot just across the street and got into the line around 12:30. The line moves pretty efficiently, and you order separately from the barbecue line. I think this immediately felt disheartening as a barbecue fan. You kinda expect to get your food while in line and watch the assembly of workers put it together, instead of them being in a separate location in the back giving you order numbers. It doesn't feel like a true Texas barbecue experience and more like a Dickey's Barbecue Pit. Instead of going for a tray, I opted for one of their specialty sandwiches, the El Gallo Picante. It has their spicy hot link sausage and their smoked chicken topped with coleslaw, onions, jalapeños, pickles, and barbecue sauce. I also got a side of their broccoli salad out of curiosity and a roll of their homemade cornbread. I got my drink and sat down with my roll of cornbread. It wasn't long until my tray came to me. The sandwich stood on its own as a behemoth. So much chicken and sausage fell out of the bun. The sandwich was less concerned about being a sandwich and more focused on creating a space to try and contain a mixture of ingredients. It wasn't bad, but it was hard to say anything other than that I felt uninspired by the entire thing. The sausage was fine, the chicken was kinda dry, but everything together with all the separate ingredients masked the meats' faults. The broccoli salad was a unique side that I had never seen before at a barbecue joint, so I wanted to try it. It was cool, but not something I'd get again. As for the cornbread, it was quality, but if that's the most impressive part of the meal, then I'm questioning the establishment's ability to create a good barbecue experience. I think it's so cool to have so many special barbecue places near me and the ability to try so many, but I'm starting to wonder if the places that stay on the list for four editions start to lose their oomph. Do they become complacent knowing they already have their business and are established? Is there any need to try and push the envelope when you're just a recurring guest on top barbecue lists? Is it a me issue? Is it my fault I went to Burnt Bean a week prior and now I'm trying a place that sells all-day barbecue? With your big brick-and-mortar and your TV screen menus, you're not as hungry as you used to be.
