Here's another place my famz wanted me to have. I'm glad to see that more varieties of restaurants are popping up. Speaking of... not only is there a K-Pop craze. There's also a fried food trend. While I try to avoid fried food, I was willing to taste some from this place to see what all the rave was about. The nice crisp of their chicken was appetizing. It's nose-dripping spicy and sweet which pairs well with beer. "Rationalizing" to eat a bit healthier, I ordered their fried tofu (ahahaa). Filler up with some rice and corn - tasty stuff! K1 The Bloom is a great spot for enjoyable grubs. They have fun drinks; non-alcoholic and buzz worthy. Ask about paraphernalia... There were some T-shirts hanging on the wall. Client of mine told me about this place today. And boy am i glad he did. Upon entering this place looked really cool inside. They had kpop culture everywhere and on the tv. Lot of drinks to choose from and looked well kept. We ordered several things off the menu and enjoyed it all. I'm not sure what was my favorite because I'd get it all again. Wings were perfect. First of all this is not Korean food. It's a hipster college twist of Korean food! It was the worst place I have ever eaten. I hate to be so ugly about it but the food was terrible. If you want some good Korean food, look up Miso in Temple, sorry K1 I know you tried but you sold out to the young college students that have no idea what good food is yet! I did not expect such a trendy Korean restaurant to exist in Belton. It is such a vibe. I love how they have K-pop music videos playing. My first time visiting, my friend and I shared the mild sweet and spicy chicken wings. These were really good. She had the Korean ramen without spice, and it was very bland. I got the beef bulgogi, which was good, but not as flavourful as I expected. My second time, my friend and I shared kimchi fries. These were sooooo good and flavourful. I was such a big fan. She got the Korean corn dog, which she said was okay. I got the pork tonkotsu, and it was super bland. It was such a letdown. I had never previously had a bad tonkotsu before this one. There was so little flavour, and there wasn't really any sauce on it. I snagged a bottle of sauce from another table, but it didn't really compliment the pork well. The food is notably pricey here. Being able to press a button to call a server is an amazing feature, and they do come pretty quickly. However, during my second visit one of the servers forgot to bring the rice for my tonkotsu, and a different server forgot to bring my to-go box. read more

Don't waste your time with this food if you want authenticity. We were highly disappointed with the bulgogi bowel. The dish tasted rushed & incomplete with authentic ingredients. Meal comes with no side of Kimchi etc. The side of Kimchi we purchased was not authentic either. The atmosphere is nice & clean but the food was terrible. If you are the type that really doesn't know what authentic Korean food is supposed to taste like this may be the place for you. My advice steer clear, it's not worth your time or money. read more

I have been here several times and have never been disappointed! The service is prompt and I haven't had to wait for a table before. Once seated, you push a button on the table when you are ready to order. The food is delicious! I have tried several menu items but my favorite is the pork belly with kimchi (get it spicy!). The soju slush drinks with popping boba are tasty as well (my favorite flavor is strawberry). They do have loud music playing with music videos on the TV. read more

Appetizers and Main Courses. The service was great! They brought the food out at a steady pace! Very good food! We had: TTeokbokki with Ramyun Noodles, Boiled Egg and Mozzarella. Soy Garlic Chicken Rice Bowl. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Soy Pork Belly Rice Bowl. Had a great taste but Pork Belly was a little tough for me. Bone in Wings with Snow Cheese. (Oh my Gosh! Got to try the Snow Cheese!) never has anything like it! Sweet tasting!) Boneless Wings with Soy Garlic. Crispy wings with great garlic flavor! Fried Mandi. Flavorful and good. I wouldn't know, because they never came out even when the server was reminded. The place was being run by a bunch of teenagers huddled in the back on their phones. Got overlooked multiple times (even after ringing bell) and customers that were seated after us got served and finished their meal before us. My wife and I stopped by here after driving by way too many times. Ambiance is true Korean with BTS and BlackPink playing on the TV and Korean beer ads all over the wall. We said we "weren't hungry" so we just went with simple items - Korean Fried Chicken and Kimchi Fries. Now, there is a chain in Austin that is known for their Kimchi Fries that we frequent often. And these hung in there with the originals we hadn't had a comparison - these would be mind blowing. Still excellent. But the star for us was the Korean Fried Chicken. We got the boneless and I believe it was the "spicy" sweet and spicy sauce. We just weren't expecting how good it was. The food isn't expensive - and it's not cheap. I think it's priced reasonably. Staff was courteous and timely. We want to try the Cheese Buldak and the Gui Gui (pork belly). But we'll probably always get an order of chicken also.
