I love the food here, and probably some of the best fried rice in the county. Staff is respectful and with good culture environment.

My husband and I decided to try this place for a date! We were immediately seated upon arrival, (like as SOON as we walked in.) I was a bit nervous to try the foods since I'm pregnant and have been having issues with anything agreeing with me. Both my husband and I ordered the bento! I loved it! And so did my husband! Food was delicious as always . I love going for lunch because the portions are just right. Only thing I was disappointed to find out was if you want extra of one of the small sides , you can't have it. Instead they now charge $9.99 for that long plate of the 4 different sides. I don't think it's right to charge if I want just extra cucumber, I should get it. This policy is new and I don't agree with it. I never had issues with getting more kimchi or cucumber. I recently ordered the spicy soon tofu jigae seafood soup through uber eats. I specifically noted "no eggs" due to egg allergy. It is also noted on my receipt. Upon receiving my order, I find that it had an egg in it and barely any seafood. I had to throw it away since it contained an egg that I specifically asked not to include it. Just threw away $20.00 because the cook did not care about people with food allergies. Not ordering from this place again. Waste of time and money. read more

The service was good and quick but then the food is an serious issue. My spouse is a chef and enjoys Asian food. However she noticed a bad smell from her food. It appears that the meat (beef) was questionable. She didn't eat much. When she gave it to our two Great Pyrenees dogs, they sniffed it and wouldn't eat it at all (normally they eat anything). Chose this restaurant based on a recommendation from a colleague and we were so glad. Ambience : Tables and booths are available. This restaurant can host a group, if there is a need. No advance reservation was needed. There is plenty of parking available. Drinks : Beer and wine only. They have a merlot, 2 white wine options and plum wine. The plum wine was not great. Food : This is where the restaurant wins. You start off with a miso soup and house salad. They have a menu full of options but if you choose to go for the barbecue, try the combination BBQ. The menu says that its for 4 people but we were a group of 6 and there was enough food for all of us. The salads and dips that comes with the combo are all great. You also get to have fun cooking your own meat the way you want it. The meats are well seasoned and it does take time to fully cook, so plan on having enough time to enjoy your meal. We wanted a portion of spicy fried rice and she has the chef prepare a chicken kimchi fried rice. It was great. Service : Our waitress was great. She was patient, attentive and took care of all our needs. She ensured that there was enough food on the barbecue at all times. I cannot believe I've lived in Copperas Cove for so long (almost 4 years) and I never stopped by. I wish I had pictures I didn't get the chance because of how great everything looked. We couldn't wait to dig in!! We had the Miso soup / salad (complimentary) with Musubi and Edamame for starters. All great tasting. Edamame came salted and I prefer it was just plain but it was still very tasty. We ordered four rolls, my favorite being the "Los Tres Amigos Roll". It's a big roll for sure but damn did it taste fresh. Everything came out very timely and tasted great! To top everything off the staff was very attentive and very friendly we had at least 4 different people stop by to check on our table. Our server never left us waiting on anything. Check out the awards/articles upon entry for Mr Kim, (Sushi Chef). No wonder everything was amazing. We'll have to come back and take some pictures and try even more of the food. Definitely a Copperas Cove must try. We will definitely be back for some more great food. read more

Visiting the area. I stopped in for dinner with my daughter. Many tables needed clearing, and several people were waiting to get seated. Absolute worst food place I've ever been to. For 45 dollars I was given this small proportion. No sides no anything, the customer service was garbage. Especially when cashing out asking if I was going to tip him. HEB has better sushi than this, the sushi is extremely small. If I paid 30 for this I wouldn't be as mad but for 45?? Absolutely insane. My family and I love to eat Korean and we are almost forced to come here just because this is the nearest near us. The waitress slides the salad across the table to my children there is literally half a tea spoon of soup in the bowls. We knew this is how they opperate still not the problem. What the problem is they serve us all the pre appetizers we order we wait there for our food to come for 20 mins then they tell us they ran out of the galbi ribs we then decide to leave and all pf a sudden they come up with one order im sick of paying for horrible service NEVER AGAIN and i will advice everyone not to come here save your money and go somewhere where your money is appreciated ....just horrible People need to know how bad this place is !!!!!! read more

Let me tell you, I absolutely love Oriental cuisine, but this was by far the worst experience I've had with it. I ordered some sushi, I had already had some bad times in Indiana and Hawaii, so I figured Texas may be good for some grub. I despise barbecue though, so I stopped at a nearby sushi place. Ordering was hell since the server was incredibly disrespectful and rude, and the sushi I ordered was room temperature, which is bad considering its raw fish. Once the bill came I saw that I had been charged a ridiculous amount for this meal I had gulleted. I cannot believe this is allowed as a service. read more
