    THE WRAP

I'm a big fan of TKS food . Tried the usuals ( shawarma, bowl, wrap- OG sauce ) and they were all good . Tried the steak kebab today and paired with their lavash was delish ! Service and ambiance was okay.

I ordered catering from here recently and had such a fantastic experience. Everything was ready on time, the portions were perfect, everything was packaged up very nicely, and the food was great! Could not have had a better experience!

I always enjoy my trips here. It's one of my go-tos when I'm on the go. Lots of good options to choose from. I usually get the chicken but decided differently today. Really enjoyed the meal. The hummus was great. And the falafel was on point. The staff is always nice and accommodating. I appreciate clean places and it's always up to par. Thank you for being consistent!

My absolute favorite. THE KEBAB SHOP!! i am always so excited when I see one of these stores. The food is always fantastic, the To-go option is always fast and the food is fresh!! Everyone is always so nice and helpful. I love the self-serve options of the sauces! They are the best. Plenty of seating if you want to sit down and eat but also great for to-go

If you want a quick and delicious kebab I would highly recommend the Kebab Shop. Personally I think thr cost is on the higher end but still affordable and a good deal for the a.ount of food you get. I have been multiple times and never been disappointed by the food, staff, or cleanliness of the establishment.

Thank you Kebab Shop for an amazing dinner! We ordereda Family Meal, it was absolutely worth it ya'll. My family is 4 will have leftover overs for days. We got a Mix of Chicken & Lamb Gyro, Pita Bread, Salad & Truffle Rice. ( this rice is amazing!!! Trust me) 2 sauces and salad dressing for 63.99$plus tax. This is a really good deal to me. And if you have there app, you might find a coupon

We were exploring and wanted a light lunch so we thought we would try this spot since the ratings were so high. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are really nice and helpful. We ordered a lamb and beef wrap and large Greek salad to slit. The wrap is long and the salad is huge! However when we hit it we noticed it was light on the meat and heavy on the lettuce. The salad was good and filling though. Overall, it was what we were looking for, a light lunch to keep us going until dinner.

Yum! The San Diego wrap was so delicious and so filling. I loved the fries inside, the flavorful lamb, the refreshing cucumber, the abundance of white sauce, etc. Even the tortilla itself was delicious, the texture was really good. The saffron rice too (not part of the wrap) is so! good! Definitely will be coming back to try more things.

Definitely 5-Stars worth of kebob goodness! Stopped by The Kabob Shop on the last day of this event. First clue the place is good, I walked in mid-afternoon and it was crowded. Second clue the place is good, lots of take-out orders going out the door while I waited for my food, about 15 minutes. I picked up an extra San Diego kebob for sharing at home, and the check-in provided 50% off crave fries. On the way out, I grabbed sample of all three sauces. Every staff member with whom I interacted was super happy and pleasant. The San Diego Kebob is a crazy good combo of carved lamb and beef, pickled onions, feta cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and french fries! Delicious! and, HUGE, easily enough for two meals. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned very well. All other ingredients were super fresh! Of the three sauces, the fiery chili red sauce was my favorite, followed by the green cilantro jalapeno. The yogurt sauce was good, but not my favorite. The crave fries were unique, hot fries, feta cheese and pickled red onions, a very tasty dish. Couldn't wait until I got home to start on the fries, the car was smelling way too good. All who shared the fare were in agreement with the 5-star rating. We'll definitely stop by when in the area. Highly recommend The Kabob Shop!

The food: hummus and pita that my toddler and baby gobbled down and made a good girl dinner for me. That cilantro and jalapeño sauce has a nice kick to it so haven't some of the garlicky yogurt to balance it was perfect. The vibe: If Chipotle and your Instagram feed had a baby. There are signs, infographics and witty puns everywhere. Everything is clean and well maintained even the drink and sauce station which are usually a bit of a hot mess in most places. Service: super friendly and helpful. Food came out fast and they even put napkins and sauces in the bag for me.

Thrilled that TKS has opened in Georgetown! Now there are more fresher options than sandwiches and burritos! I love good Mediterranean food and they're always fresh, with a good mix of non-fried/non-starch sides. Welcome to Georgetown!

Kids meal (saffron rice, chicken, fries)
    Lauren R.

IT WAS SO GOOD, Y'ALL. Came for a Yelp Elite event but brought my four year old with me and it was very kid friendly. Sign on the window says kids eat free Sat and Sun, which is great in a high shopping traffic area! We asked about kids meals at the counter and they had menus and crayons for kids to color. The kids meal we got (chicken, fries, saffron rice) was definitely full-meal sized and came with a drink. They do not skimp on portions here. The sauce bar at the back...was it glowing from within or is that just my fond memories of the OG yogurt and cilantro jalapeño sauces shining through?? We'll be back. Soon.

The woman at the front counter was lovely and recommended a Greek white wine for us, which was incredible. The food was top-notch. Super fresh and homemade baba ganoush and tzatziki sauce. However, I'll think about coming here again because I didn't feel a good vibe with the service. We had to go look for someone to show us the table even though the place was empty for early lunch. Then, to get drinks or even the order was a problem. It took so much longer than usual. Our waitress was rude, and seemed bothered that we showed up. Then someone else came as the waitress and she was preoccupied with other tables and barely checked on us. A regular lunch which would've been one hour became almost two because of the lack of service. My friend had to stand and look for someone to give us a box to take out the good we couldn't eat because it was getting late and also to get the check because No one came in to check on us at all. It was almost like pulling teeth to get a regular service let alone good service. Again, the food was really good, and that alone was the only positive.

Being Greek and visiting Austin, trying the local Greek restaurant was a must. I'd heard Yamas was…read morethe best Greek spot in town, so my brother, my daughter, and I decided to see if it lived up to the hype. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had been transported to a little taverna on a Greek island. The crisp white walls, iconic blue window frames and shutters, and charming atmosphere immediately set the tone. Even more impressive was the hospitality. From the hostess to our server, and even the owner stopping by our table, everyone embodied the warm, welcoming Greek hospitality I grew up with. The appetizer menu was so tempting that we wished we had ten stomachs. We settled on the octopus, spanakopita, saganaki, keftedes, and a horiatiki salad, and I'm so glad we did. The octopus was cooked perfectly, tender and seasoned with excellence. The spanakopita was beautifully flaky with a satisfying crunch, and the filling was rich and flavorful. The tzatziki was incredibly fresh and honestly some of the best I've had in a long time. The biggest surprise of the night was the saganaki served with fig jam. I never would have thought those flavors belonged together, but they absolutely did. It was a standout dish. The keftedes were also fantastic, juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. For our entrées, we ordered the pastitsio, gouvetsi, and chicken souvlaki. While the appetizers truly stole the show, the main courses didn't quite reach the same level. We did arrive close to closing time, so that may have played a role. The pastitsio had great flavor overall, and the béchamel was beautifully prepared, but some of the pasta was a bit firm, and I personally would have loved a touch more cinnamon. The gouvetsi had excellent texture, but it was a little too salty for my taste, but that didn't stop my daughter from devouring it. The chicken souvlaki was unfortunately on the dry side and a bit tough. Even with those minor disappointments, I'd absolutely return. The menu is filled with so many traditional Greek comfort foods that I'd love to come back and explore more of what they have to offer. The appetizers alone are worth the visit, and the atmosphere and genuine hospitality made the experience feel like a little taste of Greece right here in Austin. If you're looking for authentic Greek flavors, a beautiful setting, and genuine (Greek hospitality), Yamas is definitely worth adding to your Austin dining list.

They prioritize the same food standards that I do: grass-fed dairy and beef products and they don't use seed oils! That's definitely worth stars and we need more food options with these standards. That's why I'm so sad that the food was so underwhelming. I got a burrito and their fries. I immediately regretted the fries and wish I could have my $5 back. They are pale, limp, and taste like boiled potatoes. Had to include a photo to try and communicate how much french fry flavor was not on these fries. And the best word to describe the burrito is... chaotic? Which is kind of the vibe they're going for with their branding and can totally work. But I mean chaotic in like a choking hazard way haha. I added oven roasted cherry tomatoes and kalamata olives to my burrito. They were both just thrown in WHOLE! I laughed out loud when I discovered two big honkin' tomatoes (barely cooked) just chilling in the burrito. There's no way for the flavors to mingle and get to know each other when it's just a bunch of large chunks of food. I think this would have been an awesome burrito if the tomatoes and olives were chopped and could play together. All in all, the meat and sauces are great. Skip the fries for sure. I want this place to work so bad I will most likely go back and try a bowl. The burrito just didn't work. Sad ZIKI!
