    Great Selection

First timer but will more than likely return. Lots of choices, everything I had was good. Minus one star as there was no available pita bread. When we were done and stuffed, they put out some more pita bread. Several customers were wondering why they were out. Pricey at $25 per person. I guess if I could eat more it'd be worth it, but I could barely finish my one and only plate.

    Fresh fish, vegetables, hummus, soups.

Press the button for the lamb shank! This place is new - I'd been to the one on 183 in Jollyville and now there's one here. Bright, clean, open... a great addition to a part of Round Rock South that really needed it. Fantastic flavors, lots of choices, and a button to request a braised lamb shank fresh from the back. Do it. Press the button. Get the lamb! While we were there we saw them rotate in fresh food several times, moving the existing stuff to the front and adding new at the rear - perfectly done. Lots of different chicken dishes, from savory to spicy, and all the salads (very, very fresh!) and sides to go with them. Soft drinks, teas, rose waters... and deserts. Did I mention you can press the button for a freshly hot and tender lamb shank?

Went to the new Dimassi location and was very impressed. There are very few buffets near our house so we were so excited this one opened up. Dimassi was extremely clean and had a huge line up of delicious foods. In total we got 4 plates. The food was very well seasoned and the ice cream was amazing. It almost felt criminal that I had two cones at 12pm but it was that good.

Great fresh selection available and truly something for everyone. Don't miss the special posted at the end of the Buffett. Offered during our visit were lamb shanks that were so tender and delicious. Falling off the bone.

I love buffet (I want a taste of everything). I love Middle Eastern food. I've enjoyed a Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet in Richardson, TX. This beautiful new Round Rock location is - perfect? At LEAST 8 meters (25 feet) of fresh food, beautifully seasoned, correct temperatures, halal meats, vegetarian/vegan/everything labeled by ingredient, before I get to beverages, gorgeous desserts, cinnamon tea, so many wonderful comestibles! Prices 10% below the Austin standard, so great value for money. The service is efficient and friendly and my only concern is that it's on my way home from work. Too tempting. I will want to stop every day!

On the fence about this review. I think it was because the first Dimassi's I went to was in Houston, and the food was great, not saying the food here was bad. So let me start by saying the inside is pretty, and I love the porch. The service was nonexistent. The selection was few, and the food was cold. The food would have been better if it were at least warm. But I'll come back. I think I went on the wrong day. We all have bad days.

Not great, not bad or maybe I'm just looking for more? First time here, walked in and was confused what to do. Since they recently opened would be nice if someone was stationed at the door OR a sign to "take a seat anywhere and help yourself" would be amazingly helpful. My first pass thru, when I hit the end there is a drink station, I wasn't sure if it was included in the $20 price or what so just got water. Another sign for the drink station would be helpful as well. I was disappointed there wasn't any tiropita or spanakopita. Although, was happy to see Baklava on the desert section and it was the perfect ending bite to my visit. Seemed like it was a lot of different rice and veggies. I mostly ate gyro meat but I prefer when it's well done or dark on one side and this was all just regularly cooked of that makes sense. Which is fine, just my preference. It also wasn't hot, it was more room temp. In my experience today most everything was the same temp, not hot, not warm, not cold, everything just a little warm or room temp (including the pasta salads and coleslaws). When I was done I walked to the register and again, no one there. didn't have to wait super long but maybe others would have left. Maybe charge on the way in? Gives them a chance to explain it all too with the drinks, deserts, etc. Overall I won't be back but do think it's a great addition to the area. It was clean and quick! But for a $20 lunch, me personally I'll stick to other quick Greek places where I can get gyro meat with spanikopita and tiropita. Today I'm leaving hungry and really craving some. I'd be back if it was $13 maybe $14 with water for lunch and it didn't ask me for a tip.

Dimassi's has been one of my consistent go-to's when I'm craving Mediterranean food and this newer location is no different. The offering is pretty much the same as the Research Blvd location though there was one dish with juicy lamb meat and mint lemonade which were new to me and great. They also serve a lamb shank for each adult during dinner. The space is bright and beautiful and clean and overall a great value with delicious food and variety.

This is a delicious Mediterranean buffet, the lamb is always a highlight! Everything else is also great! Hummus, salads, the bread, chicken...I like to try it all but you may end eating too much, anyway is one of those kind of places that everything is good and it is best going hungry! Service was super fast and nice, the place was clean and overall it was a great experience in this new location!

Such a good spot to bring out of town guests. There is something for everyone. We tried a huge variety of foods and even the different teas. If you are looking for a healthy option this is the spot! The day we were there , there was alot of smoke filling tbe dining room so that part was unpleasant, must have been from cooking in the back. The place was clean and bussers were attentive, as well as the buffet display being orderly. They have a good thing going here and I'm looking forward to going back.

Parking is plentiful right in front of the restaurant. We came by on a Saturday around 1 PM, worried it might be packed, but it was actually pretty quiet. You can sit anywhere you like, grab a plate, and pay when you're done. The space is large and open, with three full rows of food and drinks plus a dedicated station for fruit and desserts. Everything was fresh, not overly salty, and there were plenty of options. My favorites were the hummus with eggplant (so flavorful with great texture), the salad and cucumber salad (fresh and refreshing), the dolma (perfectly done), gyro (tender and tasty), baked cauliflower (so good), fried chicken (juicy, crispy, and not salty), falafel (extra crunchy), and the lentil soup (simple but delicious). And don't miss their coffee at the checkout--it has a hint of warm spice and is the perfect finish after a meal. Surprisingly, I ended up loving the vegetable dishes even more than the meats. Overall, yes, $26 per person is on the higher side (what doesn't cost these days, right?!), but it's a great spot to try a variety of Mediterranean dishes that are fresh, simply seasoned, and let the ingredients shine--perfect whether you're new to the cuisine or just want a bit of everything.

The restaurant is on the first floor, almost directly below the check in desk in the lobby. Take the elevator or stairs down a level to access the breakfast buffet. Since the buffet gets busy on the weekends, they will escort you to a table. We sat with a colleague and friend who presented the most amazing lectures at the conference. The buffet itself has a lot of classic and kid friendly foods. So many stations. Cereals. Cut up fruits. Pastries and muffins. Corn. Wedge potatoes. Omelettes. The cook at the Bennie station was so nice. When I asked for a Bennie with no meat, she suggested that I grab some smoked salmon from another station to make a salmon Benedict. My favorite...and what I was planning to do once she gave me my meatless Benedict. So thoughtful. Other yummy options at the buffet included the bread pudding and the cheese grits. So many carbs!! The station with smoothies and fruit juices was a very good option. The pinacolada smoothies and the green juice blends were so yummy. Although I didn't use it, the hot sauce bar was so interesting. So many hot sauces. From mild to hot, hot, hot. Check out the Scoville Scale to gauge if you can handle the heat. Comments for individual dishes: Vada pav - Not served with Mumbai pav but slider buns which is as unauthentic as can be. Sabudana vada - Crispy, tasted good, served with sweet yogurt. Pithla bhari - The worst I have ever had. Pithla was too runny, bhakri was downright stale/unedible. Pomfret fry - Fish skin was burnt, but taste was better than some of the other dishes. Puran poli - It was super thin, barely any puran filling and seemed to have been served after quick heating rather than fresh, the edges were unedible.
