Been coming here for a long time and it always slaps!! So good I want to gatekeep it. Food is always amazing, house sangria is great too and always super friendly staff! One of my favorite spots in Austin.

4.5 Stars Cute lil Greek Cafe in North austin! The food is fresh, the prices are wonderful, and the portions are generous! We ordered off the lunch menu - I had the half lamb salad ($12.99) and my friend got the lamb gyro ($9.99). We split the dolmades appetizer ($7.25) which came with pita. They even gave us free yummy beignets for dessert :) Order at counter and pick your seat.

Santorini Cafe is great for lunch. My husband and I each enjoyed a gyro sandwich and side salad. It was fresh, delicious, and quite filling. We also shared an order of fries. They were straight out of the fryer and sprinkled with a few herbs. So good! We sat outside on the porch since it was an unusually pleasant day for December in Texas and our food arrived shortly after. Our server was kind enough to give us a sample of their beignets. They were different from the traditional beignets you'd get in New Orleans. These little deep fried donuts were crispy on the outside and had a mochi-like chewiness on the inside. The were dusted with a bit of cinnamon and drizzled with honey. A delicious treat that I'll be sure to order the next time I visit.

Food was excellent and one of the best lamb gyros I've ever had. Service was good and quick. Place had a local vibe and very inviting. Highly recommend and would go there again.

Service here is great and so is the food. I love the decor of the place and how big it is inside even though it looks smaller from the outside. It's not my first time here because its such a great place to eat Greek food. A lot of tables with just one person, meaning it's great if you want to come by yourself, you won't be the only one. I'm sure they're also returning customers which speaks highly of the quality of food and service here.

I'm a huge fan of Greek food ...so I had high hopes of this place after seeing all the great reviews ...however it was just ok. My husband and I ordered a lamb and chicken gyro and unfortunately both were lacking flavor and a bit dry.

Came in for a casual date night and it was such a cute homely spot. The interior has a bit of an old timey charm and I think the people at the counter were the owners since their family was also in the space. We had a sampler platter which has delicious dolmas, I had a gyro, and we added a lemon chicken soup which was so good and really surprised us how much we loved it. I also had a glass of sangria which was very easy to drink and only cost $4.50 during the HH and the man told me they make it in house. We also got complimentary beignets at the end of the meal, which was very sweet of them.

Santorini Cafe is such a great place to eat. It was my first time eating here and it did not disappoint. I had the lamb gyro with a Greek salad. It was so good and the lamb was so tender. The flavors came together perfectly. Everyone was so kind. We got a complimentary batch of beignets. The environment was calm, safe and homey. I will be going again.

I've driven past this neat looking restaurant so many times and procrastinated on how I'm going to try it one day, well procrastinate no more because that day has come! Located on North Lamar this nice gem also has outdoor seating so you can enjoy the breeze while chowing down on some good Greek eats. I ordered the lamb plate and it was plentiful! Fresh and deliciousness all to myself. My plate came literally within seconds of me seating myself which I told the lady that was fast service! About 2 minutes later she comes back with what appeared to be some type of dessert (cinnamon balls) for free I'm guessing they knew I was a first timer. Customer service was great food was excellent and the establishment was clean. Will definitely return soon!

Santorini Café is the real deal! Having visited Santorini, Greece, this restaurant lives up to its reputation 4.7/5.0 rating with 1K+ reviews. Santorini was our original honeymoon location that got deprioritized by a free trip won to Negril, Jamaica from Modern Bride magazine (Santorini trip happened 6 years later.) My first impression was this restaurant was extracted from Santorini and plopped down on North Lamar in Austin, TX. The restaurant is a former residential home...white on the outside with blue lettering really mimicking the structures in Greece. It has a homey, lived-in feel. There is quite a lot of artwork on the walls of different sizes, colors and types. Even for a late business lunch you could hear friendly voices, and smells wafting from the kitchen. I ordered the lamb plate, and my colleague ordered the chicken plate. Though I am supposed to be cutting back on red meat, I made an exception today. The plates came with a Greek salad, dolmas, tzatziki sauce (Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, fresh dill, salt & pepper) and of course the meats. OMG the food was delicious. My lamb was well seasoned and so tender you could cut it with a fork. The Greek salad was fresh with the perfect amount of salad dressing. The dolmas were the best I have ever eaten...grape leaves and rice were cotton soft...very enjoyable to eat. The pita bread was firm yet super soft inside. Wow...what a meal!!! When you thought it could not get any better, Evette brought complimentary Greek beignets to our table. They were a little crispy on the outside, spongy soft on the inside drizzled with cinnamon and honey. Yum to the nth degree!!! The portions were generous and as a result, I took half of my meal with me. Evette, our server, was friendly and personable. She quickly satisfied our requests. When we left, she said, "look forward to seeing you again soon", which sounded genuine. We will have to come back to try a gyro sandwich and hummus. Santorini Café is warm and inviting. This would be a great place for a business meeting, meet-up with friends or a family dinner or group outing.

Are dogs allowed in the outdoor seating?

Yes, last time I visited, (about 5 months ago), there was a couple there who had dogs at their side when they ate.

Are they willing to make authentic Greek salads? Meaning no leafy greens, just tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, bell pepper, olives, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and a block of feta cheese?

I have never ordered a salad but have found them to be very accommodating. Call them!

Do you have any food w/ meat or dairy? (vegan)

Few edibles contain meat, many contain dairy.

From the moment we sat down, the service set a phenomenal tone for the meal. Our server, Avery, genuinely took the time to ask what we were interested in, thoughtfully guiding us through the menu with recommendations that were, frankly, unbelievable. Every single suggestion was spot-on. As for the food, every dish that arrived at the table was a masterpiece: The Brunch Plate: A beautifully classic, elevated breakfast. The sunny-side-up eggs were cooked to absolute perfection, seasoned with a light touch of pepper and spice. Paired with perfectly golden, crispy hash browns, savory sausage, thick-cut toast, and a rich fruit compote, it was a flawless, hearty start to the day. The Beet & Citrus Salad: A vibrant, refreshing standout. The earthy depth of roasted red and golden beets paired wonderfully with bright, juicy citrus segments, creamy crumbled cheese, and fresh greens. It was beautifully balanced, incredibly fresh, and a perfect contrast of textures. The Pesto Pasta: Absolutely spectacular. The pasta shape held onto the rich, flavorful pesto sauce perfectly, which was tossed with fresh spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and tender chicken, all finished with a generous dusting of parmesan. It was savory, comforting, and packed with bright, fresh flavor. Between the flawless, attentive service and the phenomenal quality of the kitchen, they made this Father's Day incredibly memorable. We will absolutely be back!

Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.
