This is my first time at this location and it was a great time! Girls dinner night! I originally made a reservation for 8, but with the storms it ended up only being four of us. But four was perfect. The reservation process was easy and the staff was super accommodating. I requested an area that was a little secluded with less noise so we could all catch up with each other. And they picked the most perfect table that was tucked away in its own little private area but you could still see everything that was going on in the restaurant. Chef's kiss! Our server was so friendly and fun and everything came out at the right time and on time. It's Italian so of course I ordered a red wine, Cabernet to be exact. We ordered a few shareable bites for the table and I really enjoyed the bruschetta and the meatballs! For dinner I had the butter lettuce salad (so good!) and then a butternut squash ravioli that was absolutely amazing. I would order that again and again and again but... There are way too many delicious options to get the same thing every time you go. Everyone ordered something different and everyone had the same reaction. Delicious! I cannot wait to return and try more things off of the menu. Note, it's always best to make a reservation but keep in mind they also have a full bar with seating around the bar. Review for Juliette's Restaurant - Arboretum Location On August 7, 2026, my husband and I visited Juliette's in the Arboretum, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The food itself was just alright -- nothing memorable or worth praising -- but the real issue was the environment and how we were made to feel. We were seated in a secluded area of the restaurant, noticeably apart from the main dining space. As the evening went on, we saw that nearly all the guests being ushered into the main area were Caucasian, while we remained the only minority couple placed off to the side. It was hard not to feel singled out. Our primary waitress was wonderful -- kind, attentive, and professional. However, when another staff member brought out our food, she looked at us and said, "Why you all hiding?" My husband almost responded, but I stopped him. She did not know that her comment hit a sore spot, especially when we didn't choose to be seated away from everyone else. As more guests arrived, the pattern continued: they were guided to the main dining area while we remained isolated. The entire experience felt discriminatory, and it left us with the impression that we were not "good enough" for the rest of the restaurant. My husband still left a generous tip because we believe in treating service staff fairly -- regardless of how we are treated. We will not be returning to this location. Perhaps the Barton Springs restaurant is different, but the Arboretum site left us feeling unwelcome. Previously, I'd only been to the Barton Springs location. I was happy to check this one out for a light lunch on Mother's Day. The Arboretum Market (not to be confused with the actual shopping plaza across the street of the same name) was happening and some folks were set up at Juliet selling their arts & crafts wares. Every Saturday 11 am- 3 pm in the Juliet parking lot is the Arboretum Farmers Market. For a light lunch I shared a Caesar salad and cup of tomato bisque soup with my boyfriend. I did ask for a medium salmon, and it was right on point, but the risotto did say saffron; however, I don't think if you know the flavors of saffron that it would shine, so that was lacking. However, the burrata beet salad, the whipped burrata, and the beets, and the blueberries along with the vinegar was truly a very refreshing yet lighter side salad. I highly recommend this location if you're in the Arboretum area. Stop by if you want any Italian food. I did not try any of their pasta, so I cannot vouch for that; however, the salmon, the salad, and all the other menu items were very yummy. They do have a very lovely outdoor seating. I've been to Juliet's several times and unfortunately many of us were disappointed with the food and service this time. The butter lettuce dressing was off (more oil than vinaigrette flavor b/c they didn't mix the dressing well), they didn't offer welcome bread service, and my friends also felt their food was not as good as when we've all been before. They did take off some of the price of two of our butter lettuce salads. We were surprised that adding salmon cost $14, which seemed excessive! It was nice they seated us in a separate table for 6 since it was my birthday and they did give me a birthday treat, which I appreciated. The others all ordered deserts as well but I forgot to take photos of the deserts. They didn't seem that full/busy, but we had to waive down someone several times to answer questions and ask where certain items were. Our server was very nice and helpful but often we couldn't locate her so others we could flag down helped us. We had a kind of weird experience starting off - the restaurant seemed to be empty but the hostess was adamant about seating us at the bar. Eventually, we moved to the outside area that was technically still managed by the bartenders, which wasn't a problem, but we felt unsure about why we weren't sat in a more common area where other people were sitting. There were def open spaces. We ordered the frozé, the frozen espresso martini, a gin and tonic and a queen margherita. All were delicious. For food we ordered the lobster arancini and the pepperoni sausage mushroom pizza - very fresh, and everything came out very fast. Aside from that awkward seating thing, everything else was great. I only come here with friends who haven't tried it and insist on it. I've now dined here at least six times in the past few months that I can honestly say... I wish I loved the food. What I do love is the ambiance, the decor, the wonderful service. But the food? Sadly, average. Especially disappointing at this price point. I met a business colleague for lunch at Juliet's Italian Kitchen in the Arboretum shopping center. The restaurant has traditional Italian food with an updated flare. We both ordered the Cesar salad. It was bit heavy on the Cesar dressing. I ordered chicken piccata (chicken breast with wine caper sauce), spinach and polenta and my colleague ordered mushroom manicotti. The manicotti came with Italian bread, which I am told was delicious. My chicken piccata was perfectly cooked...slight crisp on the outside and super tender inside. The spinach and polenta were equally good. While we did not have any drinks at lunch, you can see from the bar an extensive collection of spirits, and their wine room which had a broad selection of wine choices. Our server was helpful and attentive. Our food was delivered fast and steaming hot, which was greatly appreciated. Juliet's features both indoor and outdoor seating on its spacious patio. Hey cousins lean in! I have visited this location twice this year. The first time was for a Valentines and the second was to celebrate a good friend's birthday. Reservations were quite easy. I came to the up app and follow the instructions. The option to sit outside on the patio with live jazz. Music was definitely going to be a vibe, so I made a reservation for four. Seating and reservations were quite accommodating One of the favorite items in this location are the photos on the wall and the beautiful glass wine cellar. I am not necessarily a wine person that knows anything other than the beauty of it. We did order a wine for my friends birthday, along with several hors d'oeuvres and individual plates. We listen to the jazz music, did a lot of catching up And bugged "Shay D" our waiter who took great care of us. When things aren't on the menu just know that you're at an Italian establishment and they can make it for you. At least that is the way our waiter made me feel. After helping in accommodating all of our request, our waiter brought out a nice dessert to celebrate our friends birthday. Lightly dressed and very tasty. Next I asked for an accommodation by subbing shrimp on the scampi dish for salmon. No problem! The pasta was a but gummy and the sauce was quite oily but flavor was good. They served the dish with crusty house made foccacia! Yumm. I came here with a group of 20 for a wine and dine experience. They have a private room off to the side for such groups which can be closed off to keep the noise out. This room has two flatscreen's on either side of the room and can seat about 30 people. It can also be bisected into two separate rooms. The only problem is that the room gets pretty warm quickly and there are no ceiling fans. The restaurant itself has a nice open feel to it and there's a nice covered outside dining area. We did not have a sitdown dinner so they brought out numerous appetizers instead. About half the appetizers were basically untouched, but the pepperoni pizza was devoured and never replaced. The service was decent, but the apps didn't hit the table until half an hour past the starting time. We had a good time and I'd probably come back another day to try some meals from the menu.
