I discovered Foxtail today while eating at Mama Betty's. They literally share the same restrooms. Foxtail gives off this cool, modern and sophisticated vibe. The dim lighting gives Foxtail romantic persona. So, I decided to come to foxtail for happy hour with one of my girlfriends. We had the Saint Berry and espresso martini. Both were very refreshing. Foxtail opened on Thursday, 11/14/2025. It appears to be a great venue for an intimate conversation, friend meetup or family gathering. I met Joshua the bar manager and he was very warm and friendly. Foxtail is full bar with a limited food menu. We also had some Parmesan fries which were quite tasty. We had two amazing servers - Madelyn and Makaysia. Both were super friendly and attentive.

Discovered this beautiful cocktail bar! Stopped in for a post-dinner drink with my girls. This spot is the definition of a hidden gem. The space is dimly lit, making for a romantic and intimate ambiance. We were seated at a table in the back room which was decorated beautifully for Christmas. I ordered the "foxalada" which is an elevated piña colada topped with nutmeg. It was delicious! My friends enjoyed their drinks as well. Cocktails are relatively affordable at $14-$16 price range per drink, vs. other cocktail bars in Austin. Service was really good as well. Foxtail is a must visit if you want to avoid crowds, long lines, or overpriced drinks. I will be back!

Super cute cocktail bar! The bar itself is stunning and there is a good amount of seating inside! Service is great, plenty of servers taking orders and you can order from the bar! I tried the strawberry sting and loved it - delicious! Parking garage available for this place and the Tex Mex next door!

Steak sandwich and wedge salad were delicious. Service was AWESOME! Shout out to Dee! The butterscotch bread pudding dessert was out of the freaking world! Huge portion, too! Will definitely be back!

My friends and I describe Foxtail as a bar that should be in downtown Austin but is conveniently located up north where most of my friends and I live. It's like getting the vibes of a bougie and vibey cocktail bar without having to struggle through finding parking downtown. Their staff is so friendly, and I really liked the cocktails that we got. I think I ordered three cocktails and they were all the same drink, and it was really tropical and fruity. I would definitely come back here again. Friday night vibes were perfect!

Foxtail is a cute new cocktail lounge that's connected to Mama Betty's. It's a dimly lit, intimate space that would be a cute date night option. All of the bartenders were personable and the drinks they served us were great! I'm looking forward to visiting again.

After dinner at Mama Betty's we went to look for a speakeasy type of cocktail bar and after checking out a few places in the area, we ended up back at Foxtail! We found a cozy corner and enjoyed a version of my favorite cocktail (The Last Word) that they called The Last Palabra with mezcal. A server came up to us to take our order so we didn't have to order at the bar, which was nice. Our drinks were yummy! The glasses they served the drinks in were different than the usual glass that type of drink is served in, but all the ingredients (except green chartreuse ... they substituted another herb based liquor) were in there, including the maraschino cherry! I definitely look forward to going back again and trying some of their other cocktails. It's also conveniently located next to Mama Betty's and they even share bathrooms.

This is a really nice small cocktail bar. The decor is like a '70's vibe with the mirrors, the lights, the velvet seats with booth seating. The drinks were amazing and the atmosphere was perfect for drinks with an old friend. The bartenders were on top of it. There were no "servers" so we had to order from the bar. *tip to patrons. The volume and language should be less loud with fewer "F" bombs. Takes away the class of the space.

Love this brand new cocktail bar!!! It's very swanky inside, but still casual and laid back. Service was very attentive and kind. They have two mocktails on the menu (appreciated as I am currently pregnant) - the Humo Fashion was quite tasty! My husband tried two cocktails in the Modern Intrigue section and enjoyed both. The bathroom sharing situation with Mama Betty's next door isn't ideal as there are just 4 co-ed stalls and we noticed quite a line, but it wasn't too bad. So happy for this fun cocktail bar option so close to home!

The space mixes art deco with a little bit of Spanish flair, tucked beside/adjacent to Mama Betty's.

My friends had mocktails and I had the beet cocktail with alcohol. My friends forgot I like to take photos for my reviews so some of the photos of the items we ordered we started eating before I took them so they show as half eaten in the photos I shared (haha)...must have been good! I was also happy to discover they are on the InKind app so I was able to use some credits I had available to help pay the bill. I look forward to going back again to try more items!

They have happy hour 5-6 pm and we got the hummus half off! The hummus was so good. I love the pepper oil on top that gives it a little kick. It comes with pita bread but if you order more, it's an extra $3. We also got croquetas (ham and cheese fritters). There are four of them and they are sooo delicious!! This is a must get especially if you love warm and creamy stuff. The outside is nicely fried and if you never had it, it's similar to Japanese takoyaki. Although I love it a lot, the portion was just right for sharing because it really fills you up. We also got the potatoes (nice, but nothing that blew my mind) and chicken empanadas that I thought had a strange, sour taste. I wouldn't get that again. I highly recommend getting different tapas instead of the main courses so you can try different things. We were completely satisfied with the meal after getting these but still made room for the orange almond cake!! This was extraordinarily good!! Not too sweet and the cake has a nice moist texture-not dry. It took a while for food to arrive so service was a bit slow. You can also sit outside if you want but we sat indoors since it was chilly. It's a smaller restaurant so it's nice for an intimate meal or date. They have a bar. There's parking in the back, which is where the entrance is. Btw, this is also on inKind so I got to claim $25 off $50.

I thought it was so cool beans and had to go check them out - and I did on Christmas Eve last year. Yeah, so last year Christmas Eve I was getting my last swim in. And spoke to a couple of buddies who I met there about what they were planning to do over Christmas. Well, both of them said not much and I told them I was gonna head over to this bar called Lala's that celebrates Christmas all year round. They also never heard of it, but we ended up meeting up there later that night. The place was packed, and everyone was dressed up in their Christmas sweaters, and there was a countdown clock to Christmas Day, which I thought was really cool. We hung out there until the clock past midnight and to a shot for Jesus's birthday. I don't think Jesus does shots on his birthday so we figured why not, it's a really big deal, and so we'll do a shot in his honor. Amen. My friends really liked the place and I enjoyed it. A few few months later, a friend of mine came in from out of town and I told her about this bar and she got excited and I took her there and she really enjoyed it too. It looks like it does have a few regulars, but the people there are generally very friendly and I always have a good time here. It can get very loud if there's a crowd, but there's also outdoor seating.

Some friends took us here for a birthday celebration, taking a chance because they'd never been…read morethere either. What a find! Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.
