I ordered two bags of Holiday Blend since it is so good this year and Starbucks is offering a year-end discount. I ordered for pick-up at this location as it is nearest my home, and their website showed it in inventory. When I went to pick it up 20 minutes later, they said they were out. At that point, the person in charge said that the only form of refund they could offer was a Starbucks gift card. Say what? They sold me something they didn't have and then the only way to refund was to keep the money and just give me a credit toward a future purchase? That's just wrong! I regularly purchase online from Walmart, Home Depot, Academy, Bass Pro, HEB and Amazon, to name a few, and if they sell me something they don't have because their inventory is not up-to-date, they offer a refund back to the original purchase method. I have been shopping at this location since it opened years ago, and this is the best customer service they can offer? I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I once made the mistake of ordering for another location until I realized I had to come all the way here, and my drink was still nice and hot. You're either a Starbucks fan or you're not. You are there to make people's day better and brighter, not be impatient and rude. Saying "Ticky-Tocky" and "I know there's a lot to choose from" sarcastically is not acceptable. There was no one in line behind my wife and you are there to make helpful suggestions in a case like this. I came here today and almost didnt want to get anything because of how daunting the long line was in the drive through.Ive been inside before, and its very nice. Very clean and comfortable, and it seems like a great place to sit down and do homework or read. However, today I didnt feel like going in and despite the line being seemingly miles long at first glance, we got to order and get our drinks very quickly, and they were amazing. Ive come to this location multiple times before and theyve never messed up my order. The straws were paper which I love because its eco friendly and reduces the guilt I feel after getting one of their drinks by a little. The only complaint I might have is regarding the price. I completely understand why theyre so expensive as most people dont have the means to make specialty coffee and tea drinks at home, and theyre providing that service, but its still seems quite expensive to me. However, Its definitely not so bad if I only get it every now and then. I got an espresso frappe with light ice, double blended, and my dad got a chai tea frappe with oat milk. Ive tried many drinks from here, and my dad's drink was my favorite so far. I definitely recommend it. I dont own an espresso machine, and I wouldnt want to get one because Id only use it once every couple months, so its nice to have somwhere to go when I want a specific brew of coffee or tea or kind of milk, but dont want to have to get all of the things required to make it for myself. read more

We went by this Starbucks this morning just to get two cups of coffee. Nothing fancy, just two cups of dark roast with cream. No food, just coffee. 21 cars in the drive-thru so my husband opted to go inside to order. THIRTY-TWO minutes later he FINALLY got the two cups of plain, regular coffee, after telling the barista (when told that they were out of dark roast) that ANY roast was ok. 32 minutes....regular coffee, nothing fancy. Apparently there were so many mobile orders that all other orders were put on the back burner. From now on we will go to other locations for coffee. This location is unorganized. Apparently no manager was on site and if there was, perhaps a change is needed. read more

Starbucks is a widespread American institution we have all tried at least once. We enter, we look at the menu, we order, we wait, we pick up our coffee and we sip; the formula has been perfected and so have the drinks, to produce a consistent taste that usually resembles what you find in all other Starbucks. While the drinks menu at this Georgetown's Starbucks are standard, what makes this location better than others is the consistently well prepared iced coffee and the courteous staff that always give an excellent service. Yes, even if the recipe has been perfected and standardized, it is possible for a Starbucks barista to screw up your order. While this has happened to me in other locations, this one has never made a mistake or produced a bad drink. So they deserve a special mention! The venue is also comfortable, welcoming and always clean. There's limited outdoor seating. A drive-thru also serves clients on the go who don't like to take the time to sit down to drink their coffee and enjoy life, if only for a moment. Their loss, I suppose! read more

Spent time going between various coffee shops in the area to determine where my regular place would be, and I have found it. The staff here is quite friendly, taking the time to meet their regular customers, greet them by name and learn their regular drinks. A shout out to Linda and Esther for their fantastic service! On a consistent basis I see the shift manager take the food and drinks to elderly customers who have time coming back to the counter for their order. The place it kept clean, the music isn't too loud for conversation, and with a high number of smaller tables it isn't hard to get a place to sit and work for an hour. read more

Very poor experience. I made an online order and chose to pickup my drink inside. After waiting for 15 minutes, I attempted to go inside to pickup my drink. There was a sign that said ,"drive thru only". An employee came outside to get 2 pizzas. Asked if I could get my drink since I had been waiting in my car for 15 minutes. He said no. I asked him if he could hand me the drink out the door. He said no, and directed me toward the drive thru. There was 17 cars in the drive thru. I go to Starbucks often. This is beyond stupid, even in the world of Covid. I was basically trapped because I made the order online. To add insult to injury, while I was in the drive thru line, Starbucks automatically reloaded my account another $80. Thanks a lot for the fantastic service. The music here is nauseating, it is the most annoying soundtrack I have ever heard on loop in a public establishment. The drinks meet the minimal starbucks standard. The ambiance would be minimally acceptable if there were enough cushioned chairs available for every person that desired one; Plus if they solved the music problem as said above. The food here is mostly microwaved so that makes this a one star review on its own. Finally, the outdoor area is so cramped with excess furniture, that one should never use it unless they enjoy flying economy on the cheapest airline. read more

Decided to write a post after listening to a barrista pontificate on how Europe is sooo much better than the USA. You girl are an idiot! I lived years in Hong Kong, Australia, and different European countries. Nothing of what you stated about shopping days or hours were fact based. Each country in Europe is different and none have early closing on Fridays. Regardless of shop rules, restaurants, bars, and coffee houses are open late into the night. I am sure you need to impress your co-workers but talking out your a** is not the way to do it. I have been inside a handful of times and the staff is always very nice. There have been a couple of times they have - A - forgotten to make my coffee and - B - made me the wrong coffee. I used to work for Starbucks. I know what they are trained and I Know the extent of the job . This Starbucks has failed me countless times and I've had enough : No matter how specific or how kind I am when I order ... these people DO NOT CARE . They are too distracted and "excuses" filled. 3 weeks after hip replacement surgery, my wife took me to the Wolf Ranch Starbucks in Georgetown TX to celebrate. I also needed some whole bean espresso roast for my home espresso maker. The plan was for my wife to leave me at Starbucks for an hour while she shopped. Unfortunately, I showed up unprepared, forgetting my phone charger and I also forgot to charge my phone before I left the house leaving me with 4% charge. It turned out that Starbucks was out of whole bean espresso roast as well as my plan B coffee. Could have been a messed up experience, except that Hillary J., a standout Starbucks staffer at Wolf Ranch,l wouldn't let that happen. She provided me with her personal Andriod charger and hustled some espresso beans from their bulk stores, gratis. Totally made my day and week. Clearly Hillary is geared to the exceptional rather than the average and as such reflects why I love Starbucks, because they hire people like Hillary J. who take initiative, get things done, solve problems and elevate all that they touch. I care about quality and people. Clearly Starbucks also does as reflected in Hillary's thoughtful leadership. read more
