Well, it's what you would expect of a Donut place but with pretty friendly service and I believe it's family owned. Every time we have been here the staff is always friendly. I believe it's owned by a husband and wife who are always friendly but so is their staff. Most of items you can get are pretty average and what you'd expect. The donuts are good but typical. The kolaches are good but typical. They have a nice assortment of sodas, milk, juices etc. They generally don't have decaf coffee. I don't recall them ever having it. But they do have croissant wrapped sausages. Think kolaches but wrapped with a croissant. And they are awesome. So, 5 stars. Mostly for the great and consistently great service especially in this environment. read more

I have been eating here for over 10 years, and they never disappoint. The donuts are always on point, the kolaches are made perfectly, and the staff is always friendly. The owners live in our community and do a lot for the community. We have three donut shops closer to our house, but would rather drive the extra 10 minutes to go to this place because they are consistently good. read more

This is our go to donut place every week. The owner is super sweet and the donuts are yummy. I recommend the blueberry cake and apple fritter. This mom and pop donut shop is right behind Dunkin Donuts, but it always seems to have customers bustling in and out. I always get their buttermilk donuts, apple fritters, and donut holes. The cake donuts are always moist, evenly iced, and aren't overly sweet. The apple fritters are my boyfriend's favorite; the cinnamon batter has just enough apple chunks and doesn't taste too oily. The yeasted donuts are very soft and have a nice chew to them. Today the apple fritters sold out just before we got there, so we got an apple filled donut, a buttermilk donut, and a chocolate cake donut with chocolate glaze. The buttermilk was still a hit - the moist crumb and sweetness went well with the tang of buttermilk and maybe some lemon in the batter? Both of us enjoyed it. The apple filled donut was not bad, but of course my boyfriend still really wanted the apple fritter. The apple filling inside was more jelly than actual apple, and tasted like apple pie filling. The chocolate cake donut was a little disappointing as it had so much potential. The batter was moist and fluffy, but unfortunately it lacked in flavor and sweetness. I used to absolutely love this place but the girl that works in the front with the different color lipstick that gets it all over her face is the RUDEST PERSON in customer service I've EVER experienced. Every single time I go in she uses the most absolute rudest tone of voice with me as I order and I have no idea why she treats me this way or if I'm the only one but after experiencing this at least 4 times, I unfortunately have to say y'all lost my business and I hate to say it cause y'all are right near me and I love y'all's treats but that chick makes the atmosphere in that place feel so uncomfortable and terrible, until she's gone, I'm not coming back. This donut shop and these owners are everything you want in a neighborhood restaurant of this type. The donuts are old school staple varieties and recipes from your/my childhood. There are no gimmicks, just a wide variety of...donuts. The donuts and selection are so solid that I have perceived zero decline in their business, even though a Dunkin Donuts opened a few hundred feet away a few years back. That being said, 90% of the time I am able to get in and out in 2 minutes. I've never waited more than 5 minutes. They have kolaches, breakfast tacos and croissant sandwiches. I see "regulars" and high school students buying these up as fast as they can make 'em. The door says "muffins," but I've never seen them there; however, If you go in on Sunday, you can get a real deal huge cinnamon roll. My one complaint is the addition of that claw machine. It is so out of place and I don't appreciate having yet another place where my kids beg me to throw my money away in a machine. So now I don't take them with me and they don't get to pick out their own donuts. read more

I like trying new places, so I made my way over here this morning for my monthly donut treat. I got a glazed maple bar and a glazed cake donut for $1.71. Can't argue with the price! They did have a nice variety, and were bringing out fresh donuts as I finalized my choice around 7:00AM. The donuts weren't too sweet or dense, so if you have a light palate, these might suit you perfectly! The flavor was satisfying at first bite, but after that initial impression, I found them lacking a little something. There was certainly nothing necessarily wrong with them, they just tasted...commercialized. My sister had a bite of the cake donut and she compared the flavor to a Hostess Mini-Donut. I agreed, but would argue they were most definitely a step above that. The maple flavor was so delicate it was almost non-existent. Just an awesome donut shop off the beaten path. From twist to sandwiches, they have an assortment of goodies for all tastes. The cream cheese and jelly kolache looked amazing too! I've had the frosted donuts, twists, and jelly filled so far and they were delicious, fresh, and sweet! Cold Drinks in the cooler for those warmer days coming soon. Came here this morning to get my family some sweet treats. Awesome customer service, very kind! Got a jalapeño sausage kolache and it was DELICIOUS! Cooked perfectly and you could actually taste the jalapeño, even if it was subtle. Got a cinnamon crumble donut, my husband said it tastes like a churro and practically melted in his mouth. Glazed with chocolate frosting donut was amazing and fresh. Got two tacos, premade, so no changing what is on them, they were small but tasty too! We will definitely be back. Ok, I have now tried this place upwards of 5 times and I have no idea how they have so many good reviews. Every single time I've gotten food here, they have been in such a hurry and rushed me, that they didn't listen and messed up my order. This morning was the first time that they didn't forget to include something I paid for but to be honest, I wish they had! I have now tried their donuts in various flavors, kolache and spicy kolache, and this morning, their breakfast croissant. The donuts are either stale, greasy or just flavorless. The kolache is ok.. but ive definitely had better. But the breakfast croissant.. I cant believe they dared to serve it! Do NOT ever get a sandwhich here. It was premade at who knows what hour and they heated it in a microwave. The egg is hard and dry, the cheese had been absorbed into the croissant and the bacon was gray! Thats right, gray! Meaning it had been sitting out so long it had gone bad. After one bite, I threw it out. I realize the only reason this place is ever busy is because the convenient location, which is the only reason why I continued to give them a try. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from throwing your order in the trash and spend the extra few minutes to drive elsewhere. read more

They have the best apple fritters I have ever had. Their donuts and fritters are always fresh. The only short coming is that their coffee often tastes burnt, and I am by no means picky about coffee. The solution - I just bring my own coffee when I pick up a fritter nearly every weekend. read more
