I custom ordered some Pokémon donuts for my husband's birthday and the owner was able to whip them out very quickly and at a very fair price point! I cannot wait to go back and get donuts for my child's daycare as I always want folks to feel appreciated and I feel like Donuts are always a wonderful way to do so. When picking up my order, they asked if I wanted to have filling put in which I did half of, the custard is SO good. Drool. The vibe of this place is kinda cute! The two people behind the counter had a lovely banter that was nice to see! On to the food! I enjoyed the donuts here. There's some cool donut concoctions! Although I should have asked what was in the donuts, I just somewhat blindly ordered some stuff to go. I ended with an oreo donut stuffed with cookies and cream filling. This was kind of a surprise but quite enjoyable! I'm not the biggest fan of stuffed donuts but this was delicious. The breakfast tacos here are pretty good too. I feel like they're kind of like your "everyday" taco--and not in a bad way. I do wish they gave out better salsa though... it kind of tasted like that store bought Tostito's salsa. I've now gotten food here 3x and I've tried almost everything on the menu (don't judge, lol, I like variety and having leftovers). Their breakfast tacos, croissant sandwiches, kolaches, and donuts are EVERYTHING. Let me swing back to the croissant sandwich for a sec though...the croissant is the most buttery, flaky, delicious croissant I have had in my entire life. Croissant kolache...you heard that correctly. I don't know if I can ever eat a kolache any other way. It was the perfect amount of flackyness to bread ratio. The croissant alone would have been perfect by itself, but to top it off with a large sausage in the inside, it make for a melt worthy breakfast. You can't come to a place with Donut in the name and stop with the kolache though. I had to cleanse the pallet with a cinnamon sour cream cake donut which did not disappoint. Wow! What a pleasant surprise. Apparently I've been eating some lackluster donuts and breakfast tacos from other donut stores because the first bite and every bite thereafter was heaven. Donuts were fluffy and delicious. Breakfast tacos were fresh and made with real eggs! Their donut holes were voted "Better than Round Rock Donuts" by my boyfriend, a long time Round Rick resident. I recently got a puppy and wanted to get something to celebrate the first week of no sleep. Her name is Chewbarka, and looks a lot like Chewie from Star Wars. We've been going here for a few years for the kolaches and occasionally donuts. Take advantage of their custom orders because it was so beautiful and cost friendly. I give them a ring or order through facebook messenger and they come drop off my order and take my payment while I'm in my car. I ordered letter donuts for my daughter's birthday party from Donut Hub. I emailed them with the order (as they requested) and emailed back and forth with them about the design, pickup time, etc. I arrived to the store at the agreed upon pickup time to find they didn't have the order - they had just forgotten to make it! It was an hour before her party and I was left without the donuts she was so excited about. So I was left driving around town like a crazy person trying to find something else we could use for her party that was in an hour. It was so frustrating and stressful! Thankfully Shipley Donuts could whip together a few dozen donuts for us but I will NEVER use Donut Hub again. I'm so disappointed in this service and angry they made that day so stressful when it shouldn't have been. These donuts are good but my biggest complaint is the chocolate glaze. The chocolate glaze doesn't "melt" in your mouth like most donut icings do. It just kind of sticks to the dough and doesn't crumble or flake when you bite into it. It's also not very chocolatey in flavor. The plain glazed donuts were great though!
