First time having these little donuts sober and they're still delicious! I got there on Thursday mid-afternoon and there was no line. It's interesting to be on Rainey street during the day which I'm not used to but I think I like it! It's been sometime since I've been in the area so The gentleman who was working the truck was super nice and generous. I was offered to sample the donuts. I tried one of the feature flavors - Italian Cream Cake - which was lovely with a prominent taste of coconut yet not overly bearing. I decided to go for the Pistachio Lavender Vanilla. This one is unique and has a hint of floral, lavender note. They also offer coffee and cold brews. Little Lucy's is such a great little treats truck when you need an afternoon pick-me-up or when you have late night sweet cravings and don't want to be tempted with a full size donut. read more

a cute little sweet treat food truck that is open late. since it is downtown, the parking is a bit of a struggle but i can see it as an amazing place to stop by after a night out. the donuts were ready within 5min and they tasted so fresh. i tried one on the way back to my car and couldn't stop at just one. i would recommend shaking the bag to spread the sugar throughout all the donuts. they are on the pricey side as the donuts themselves are very small. the service was very friendly!! read more

This place is great and oh so cute! Service was prompt and friendly, including offering flavor recommendations when I asked. I decided to go with the maple bacon rum mini donuts, and they did not disappoint. There are tiny pieces of bacon mixed in with the sugar coating the soft, warm donuts. They practically melt in your mouth. I had to make myself save some for my kids to try later, but it wasn't easy. This would definitely be a fun stop on a date or a family outing. How did I not know about this place?! Such a great little local spot. Love the dog theme and the bright pink pops. They are in the absolute perfect spot for a late night treat after a couple drinks! Or just a quick morning donut with your coffee on the way to work. The donuts were so light and airy, and super fresh which you could tell since they were hot coming out! Tons of different toppings and sauces to choose from but I went with the classic sugar and cinnamon (can't go wrong) and they were so yummy! Staff was friendly and quick, they have picnic tables around so you can chill for a second while you eat, and I love that they have coffee and other beverages in case you need something to wash it down with. read more

We came here on the first day of Yelp Elite week to no wait/line. They're parked right at the entrance of Half Step Cocktails on Rainey st and are hard to miss with all things pink! Very nice customer service within 5 to 7 minute wait and no strong smell coming from the food truck Vegan donuts are not available. Vegan cookies by Larry's brand are available, but you can buy them at the store. Also just in case it was nice to be able to use a coupon for national donut day but the lady gave me 12 donuts completely for free so that was very nice. She'll give you a sample if you just ask for it she decorates the donuts for free. She'll put it in a plastic container for free. We were on Rainey street for SXSW and I had seen several people with the pink bag with a dog stamped on the front and wanted to see what all the hype was about. We came across the pink trailer with the dog logo and decided to give it a try. Service was quick and friendly, I was able to place my order and they accepted Apple Pay. Everything was made fresh to order, so there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it when you get them hot. I tried the Italian cream cake donuts. They have specialty flavors that were $1 more and all of them were appealing to me. Unfortunately, you can not order a sampler pack of different flavors and have to just pick one flavor which is why I am giving 4 stars. My recommendation would be to offer a sampler pack as to not have to commit to one flavor. The pink dog stamped package came with multiple tiny donuts inside. They were freshly made, soft, and served warm. My friend ordered the regular donuts and I have to say that I didn't notice the Italian cream cake flavor as much as I would have liked compared to the original. There was a good balance of sweetness and a creamy, slightly rich profile without feeling overly heavy. The mini size is perfect because you can try a few without feeling like you've gone overboard and it is great for sharing. Overall, Little Lucy's is a solid dessert stop when you want something warm, fresh and satisfying. I would not recommend paying extra for the specialty flavors like Italian cream cake donuts and will just go with the original donuts in the future. read more

I attended an event where we enjoyed these special treats. They had four flavors available, and everyone seemed to really enjoy them. No sauces were offered, but the guy passing them out was friendly. The bike was a cute touch! I tried a bite of the blueberry flavor, and it was incredibly sweet. I visited Little Lucy's on Rainy Street in Austin earlier tonight and really enjoyed it. The woman working (possibly the owner or manager) was incredibly kind and welcoming, which immediately set the tone. I loved the setup of the little food truck, and since it was a slower night, I didn't have to wait long at all to order or receive my food. My friend and I ordered the hot chocolate, which -- while not house-made and more of a pre-made cocoa mix -- was still served hot and tasted good, especially on a cooler night. I also ordered a small bag of mini donuts in the chocolate hazelnut flavor, and they were absolutely delightful -- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served warm (but not too hot). They definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. I don't usually crave sweets, so I couldn't finish the entire bag, but if you love donuts or want to try something different, this is a great option. The chocolate hazelnut was recommended to me over the plain sugar-dusted donuts, and I'm so glad I took her advice -- I can see why it's a popular choice. While the maple flavor overpowered everything, they were still so soft, warm, and delectable. It really melts in your mouth. If you aren't a syrup fan, I would not recommend getting this flavor. The menu shows orders of 6+ or 12+ so you really don't know how much you'll actually get. I ordered the 6+ and I'd say i had about 10 in mine which was enough for me. The cashier was patient with all of my questions and even let me try one. Apparently the cinnamon & sugar is the most popular but I was feeling risky that day and ordered the bacon, maple, & rum.
