Their croissant kolache thing is a work of art. Melted cheese, flaky crust and spicy jalepenos combine for one delicious pastry. Their donuts were also so soft and tasty. Fave donuts in Austin for sure read more

I thought I remember seeing something about this place being ranked or recommended several months ago...but that might have been a different shop. Regardless, it looks like S-H is also a neighborhood cult favorite as people kept coming in & they were slowly selling out of individual items. They move fast, so you should know your order pretty quickly. But they also were flexible when I changed my mind on one thing. They have some beverages you can pick up from two coolers to the right of the cash register diagonal from the counter. We took a Robotaxi to the location so didn't deal with parking, but I can see how that can become difficult. read more

Best Donuts in Austin. Never been disappointed. Prepared excellently. Every bite tastes so good. Give them a try.

Their kolache are heavenly!! The old reliable, glazed donut was really good, as is the old fashioned. Our last favorite was the donut hole.... something about the flavor/ texture wasn't the best, but overall a great place. The line was long and they got people in and out. Staff were quick and friendly. read more

I can see why so many people were lined up at SH Donuts this morning. They have a large selection of donuts, kolaches and other baked goods. There were a few employees there so the wait wasn't too bad. I got a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese and glazed donuts. The sandwich was fresh and tasty. The glazed donut was delicious. It wasn't too sweet and they are reasonably priced. I will definitely stop by again! read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a simple breakfast, and we decided to stop by S-H Donuts. He had been here for donuts before, but this was my first time. The parking lot was packed (S-H shares a lot with a barber shop, a coffee truck, and 2 food trucks), but we luckily snagged a spot just as someone was leaving. There were a few people ordering inside, which gave us time to look over the displays of food and the menu. My boyfriend ended up getting an apple fritter and a cinnamon roll (he said they were fantastic!) and I got a croissant breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage, and cheese (it was delicious!). The employees taking our order were very nice, and they worked quickly. There is also some booths inside if you want to sit and eat there, although we took everything to go. I look forward to coming back! Hopefully they'll have apple cider donuts in the fall! read more

The coffee is very good. The customer service is very good. The glazed donuts are great. And it's very clean.

Living on the Eastside is wonderful, but let's be honest--sometimes it's tough with all the "fancy pastries" that cost an arm and a leg. Sure, one day I might splurge on a gluten-free donut or a regular donut made with hand-milled organic flour... but sometimes you just crave a good old-fashioned donut, fats and all. That's why I'm so happy I found this place. The donuts are fluffy, delicious, and always fresh--exactly what you want. I also love that it's conveniently located near a bunch of food trucks, so there's something for everyone. The owners are incredibly sweet and greet everyone with a smile, which makes the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. read more

This place was great and all of the staff were SO friendly! They were busy on a Sunday morning but people move through quickly. I had the sausage and cheese kolache and it was delicious. The bread was so soft! All of their other products looked great as well. I wish I would have been able to try more items! read more

This business is right on busy Manor Road and when you pull into the lot, there's less than a dozen spaces to choose from. The donut shop shares the same building as the smoke shop next-door. There's also two food trucks right next-door. Once inside, you'll notice they have four tables to sit at and lots of drink choices to go with your pastry selection. I arrived after the noon hour on a Sunday, and they still had lots of kolache and croissant choices left, but the donuts were pretty much depleted. The folks behind the counter were very pleasant and they will warm up any of your choices. If you pay by credit card, you will see the tip screen or you can drop some cash in the jar next to it. They do open at 6 AM in case you're an early commuter looking for a quick breakfast choice, but keep in mind they do not have a drive up window. read more

Friendly staff and delicious options. Standard donut options available. Easy grab n go tacos and some variety of kolaches

Really nice spot. Great donuts. I've had the original glazed, bear claw and bacon egg and cheese kolache sandwich. All very good. The service probably makes this place though. The family that runs it are lovely. I went on Mother's Day and it was super busy. But they still took time to chit chat and laugh with everyone. Great spot. read more

Today it was $10 for 3 donuts, a kolache, and a half dozen donut holes. I know the rent is high but this is kind of insane, and there are other places in town that are not this expensive. read more

Somewhat better than average doughnuts, but the apple fritters were exceptional. It's a busy shop during peak hours, and the parking is inadequate - I had to park my car several hundred yards away from the entrance, and then had a 10-minute wait for service in a line that extended out the front door. Still, I'd go back to S-H. The counter people were very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. read more

You can't go wrong with their straightforward classic offerings, Boudin kolaches, and wonderful service. I love this neighborhood staple

The staff is so amazing! I love them. The donuts are really good. It's hard to say I'd give it the best. It's not an average donut shop. It's a really good classic donut shop. The kolaches are also good. I'll come back again and again because of the family and the food. read more

Great family owned donut shop with excellent donuts and great service. Highly recommend!

This is my go to donut shop! They give you such a warm greeting even on an icy cold day, and they always give service with a smile. You may miss it if you're not looking for it because it doesn't stand out but it's worth the stop. There is plenty of sitting inside to grab a snack and enjoy there. read more

There's no donut experience like the real one. This place is classic and perfect. They are so friendly and have the best tasting donuts and kolaches. It feels just like it did when I was getting donuts with my dad when I was a kid. Gotta love a tried and true. You can eat here too, and it's a very clean setting. Good coffee to boot. I've actually done large orders for my kiddos school events and you can show up same day and get large amounts. Kids loved. Obviously. read more

Best neighborhood donut shop ever! I needed to bring treats for after chapel at the State Supported Living Center, and did I get lucky stumbling here! The variety of sweets donuts and fritters was amazing...and another entire case of savory options! The family went out of their way to be welcoming, and they made sure I got enough of the sprinkled iced donuts to satisfy the residents! And a yummy time was had by all! Thank y'all! read more

S-H Donuts never misses. Although I haven't been in a while, walking in and being greeted by the S-H Queen is a great way to start the day. The variety is excellent, but my soul always craves the original glaze and the chocolate glaze. I swear I bought them to share with the office, but 3 donuts later, I realized I would have to be selective about who got one. Love S-H Donuts read more

The family that runs this shop are the sweetest, most hard working people ever. They always brighten my day and they are one of the few shops in the Austin that make their kolaches with the sweet, fluffy dough that I'm used to in Houston. The boudain kolache is perfectly spicy and the perfect texture. They have a wide selection available to choose from. Give them a try the next time you're in the neighborhood! read more

What can I say about this little donut shop? Do not skip this place! After 3 visits in 5 days I would not go to another donut shop in Austin. I've had cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, chocolate filled, chocolate iced cruller, sausage egg n cheese croissant, bacon egg n cheese croissant, and the bonus is they always throw in a couple donuts holes that somehow never make it to the house. They greet you with a very energetic hello every morning. The place is always clean and the even the windows are perfectly clean. Again I say don't skip SH donuts!!!!
