Assorted fruit kolaches

From their service to their baked goods, there's nothing I don't like. The young lady behind the counter "Philly" is a wonderful young lady. She's always ready with a smile on her face. She greets you by name and is attentive as if you're the only customer in the store when she is helping you. All her donuts are exceptional, the kolaches are top notch. Prefer something else? They have breakfast sandwiches, breakfast muffins and breakfast croissants that will make you question why you bothered to go to the Golden Arches! This is a small local business and it certainly deserves our support.

Donuts are NOT JUST donuts... Some are so heavy and greasy, while others can be dry Some are doused in sweetness and give you a sugar high Some donuts are simply hard and stale You think the good ones are only a fairy tale But.... Some are terrifically fluffy and oh so light With flavor and spunk to make you feel right! They are bold and fresh with such a nice crisp Yet the inside's so gooey you'll talk with a lisp (if you try :-) And that is what Central Donut gives you! Pure delight. I visited here last week for myself and coworkers. I must say, these guys have something pretty darn good going on. I tried a fritter and it was so crispy on the outside but so so gooey on the inside and NO GREASE ON THE BAG! heaven, I tell ya.. thats what it is. Pure Heaven. Not overloaded in sugar. Just right. No grease. The regular donuts are light and fluffy and also not greasy. They are truly a little gem to check out if you need a dodo fix. Staff is friendly and speedy...quality is CONSISTENT (and that speaks in volumes) I recommend to all... treat yourself! It'll be worth it.. and you'll thank me!!

The place is clean and the staff was great. Love the vibes at thos restaurant. I got the breakfast chalupa and my partner got the breakfast café. Both were delicious meals. I would definitely go back again. They have two restrooms which were unisex. They do have a bar ad well. Recommend this place.

Unfortunately, the kitchen just wasn't on their game this day. We went for brunch and it is a lovely restaurant with some amazing looking pastries. My ratings of the food we got are below. Overall, everything was just okay and not something I would order again. Our order: Salami and cheese - 1/10, not even edible with how much olive oil they dumped on it. Hard cheese and meat. None of us touched it. Frites - 9/10, hard to go wrong here. Nice and crispy French cruller - 7/10, I think this is just personal presence here I wished it was warmed up. Flavor was good but it was a little dry. Burger - 5/10, the flavor is there and definitely has potential but it was so bloody and rare which is not what we asked for. My friend has a gluten allergy and she asked for the burger lettuce wrapped and it just came on top of a huge chunk of iceberg so wouldn't recommend that if you want it lettuce wrapped. Chicken sandwich - 8/10, this was good with a nice crispy chicken. It could have used something sweet to balance the spice though it was a little one dimensional.

Upon entry was greeted by Melissa and sat in her section. The decor is very diner type with low, cozy booths and few tables and chairs. Not too big of a space and not sure if there is more seating elsewhere. Anyhoo, coffee was good and I got the Royal toast and a single pancake with eggs, and sausage. Ample amount of food and def had take away box. Everything was tasty and the buttermilk pancake was amazing with just syrup. Melissa was kind enough to provide little cups to take syrup home along with the tael away container. They had a daily special and a board above the kitchen with other items. Really wanted to try a slice of pie ( TX Pie Co) but seems a bit outta line with what I already ordered. Maybe next time.

I drove by it for 20 years on the way to Avenue Barber Shop. I wanted shredded beef tacos but couldn't get them without cilantro so I chose shredded beef enchiladas (with an $8!) side of chips and salsa. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries. She requested soft eggs, as she always does because too many places overcook them. The chips and salsa arrived. I was immediately disappointed. The menu said "we make our own chips." They were thick and yellow and appeared to be run-of-the-mill, out-of-a-bag chips. I prefer the thin white ones. I took one bite of salsa, and that was one bite too many. Cumin. I pushed it all aside. Cumin doesn't belong in salsa. (Sorry. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley.) My enchiladas came with black beans, and there was cumin in them. Cumin is overused and abused in most restaurants. I couldn't eat them. The rice was good but the chipotle sauce on the enchiladas was not. I scraped most of the sauce off and ate one enchilada, mainly because I just needed something in my stomach. We were still 45 miles from home. I pushed my plate away. I also ordered coffee. One sip of that was all I could stand. Too weak for me. It gets worse, much worse. My wife's eggs were barely cooked. She asked the waiter for some cooked eggs. He took her plate and returned about four minutes later. The eggs were still not cooked. She tried another bite but couldn't eat them. Her bacon was tough as a boot and not chewable. The home fries were average, but by the time her plate arrived at our table for the second time, they were cold. I pulled my card out waiting for our excellent server to return. He asked how everything was (he had to notice two plates still covered with food) and we politely told him. I ate one enchilada and some rice. My wife had two bites of egg and two bites of potato. He apologized and handed me the check. $65. Nothing comped and nothing adjusted. A manager should've been summoned. How does a place like this have any customers? It was our first and last visit.

They specialize in crepes. They have a handful of small tables as well as couch seating. You place your order at the counter then the staff brings it to you once it's ready. I ordered my go-to drink, an oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon as well as their Lox n' found croiffin. The latte was great. The Lox n' found croiffin comes with a toasted croissant roll, smoked salmon, ricotta, avocado, arugula, capers, pickled onions and dill. I added an egg for an additional charge of $2. This was a beautiful and tasty sandwich! It was very filling, too. I highly recommend checking out this unique spot!

It's a small space, with only around eight tables and a tiny kitchen behind the counter. It's a bit hard to locate from outside. There's no big sign on the window indicating the restaurant's name, just a plastic A-frame sign outside the building's doors. When I got there, four of the eight tables were empty but the dirty dishes had not yet been cleared. It took close to 10 minutes for the tables to be bused. Because the kitchen is so small, I'd recommend going up to the counter to order as soon as you get there. I believe you can also place your order online using the QR code on the table, but I didn't try that method. I ordered the lox n found, a toasted croissant roll with smoked salmon, avocado, dill ricotta, arugula, onion, and capers. The menu says it also comes with a side of roasted potatoes, but mine didn't come with that. The sandwich was delicious and filling, so I definitely didn't need them, but I do feel like I didn't get what I paid for.
