    Lox sandwich on everything bagel
    Vicky N.

Counter staff was friendly and gave me recommendations since it was my first time in. I ordered the lox sandwich on their everything bagel, which is a pretty standard order imo. I would've chosen to get it on pumpernickel instead, if they offered it on the menu. The amount of schmear was good, but I wish the toppings had been better dispersed. The exterior bites had all the fixings: onions, capers, cream cheese, salmon. The interior bites were less balanced: just cream cheese and salmon. So the more I ate, the less I liked it. The bagel was decent, but I think the everything seasoning was missing something. I'm used to them tasting more flavorful, less bland. I also ordered an everything egg bagel with some basil lemon schmear to go. I didn't know what to expect from the bagel because I was told it had egg yolks. So I imagined bits of egg yolk baked into the bagel. I was wrong lol it was just really yellow. And the everything seasoning on this bagel also fell flat in flavor to me. The schmear caught my eye on the menu and the cashier made it seem like it was reeeaaaally good. I thought it was ok? Not anything to write home about. I was really happy with the amount of schmear they gave, though. (I use bagels as a vehicle for cream cheese.) Ordered an iced spiced brown sugar latte to go, and I think this might've been my favorite part of my order? I don't think this place is bad, but it's not at the top of my list for bagel spots.

Second time here and it was just as good as the last! Definitely try to make it in here early on the weekends because it gets pretty busy but it's definitely worth the wait. So impressed by the bagels here!

Located on Burnet Road across from Gallery of Domain apartments in a shopping center . Very popular spot to have a bagel sandwich & many to choose from. At the entrance are the menus & you work your way up to order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very clean & has outside patio so doggies are welcome outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everyone's friendly and there to please.

Bagels are always a hit. This is a must anytime I'm in Austin. Staff is always friendly.

Everyone needs to"The" bagel shop. The one that is consistent, persistent, and always exceeds expectation. The perfect outer chew and soft inside delight. Amazing selection of cream cheeses and sandwich options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Feels like NY.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Order online for easy pickup!

Tucked into a small strip of stores in the Austin Commons is Rosen's Bagel Co, a small bagel shop with a fun offering of bagels and spreads as well as coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store itself is clean, sleek, and modern fitting right in with The Domain itself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers were friendly and service was quick. One thing I will note is that they don't have their coffee menu displayed on a board but rather at the register which is not a big deal but might be easy to miss when ordering (if you didn't see the large espresso machine next to it). For bagels we got an egg everything with scallion cream cheese and a plain bagel with plain cream cheese and also one hot latte. Everything came out to $16 which is decent pricing compared to what I thought it would be heading in. The bagels were average, better than fast food places but missing the mark compared to more traditional bagel spots. The coffee was solid but not remarkable either. I had high hopes for Rosen's but ultimately it really is an average bagel shop, which isn't a bad thing just not one I would drive out of my way to go to again.

What in the name of TEXAS is this? I've been in Los Angeles for far too long so seeing gigantic bagel sandwiches like this made me wonder...what do Jewish people think about this outrageous size? Don't Texas our bagels? Are we going overboard with this? I'm gonna throw a superlative down and say this was one of the best bagel sandwiches ever...at least for me. HUGE bagel that was crispy chewy on the outside and so soft inside. Plump heavy handed stacks of sausage meat and big sized eggs, huge crispy hash-brown patty, lots of cheese and subtle spread, big onion flavor in the bagel and big on TASTE. The London Fog was full of earl grey flavor and lightly sweet...served piping hot. I think I'm in love. The line moved way faster than I thought it would. Don't be discouraged if you're in it. It moves.

Awesome place, the coffee is better than Starbucks in my opinion. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming!

Decent bagels. Ordered the lox and it was packed. A little too much, as all the ingredients were just falling out every bite. It was good though. Also ordered a vanilla iced latte, and the total was about $20... That seems a little much for just a bagel and a coffee. Service is friendly and you just order at the counter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very casual spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd still recommend trying it out if you're in the area.

Very solid breakfast sandwich and bagel. I'm a big bagel snob bc so many are not "real" bagels that have actually been boiled and baked, but there were very good! I have this down as the second best bagel in all of austin (yes much better than nervous charlie's with none of the waiting) and second only to Bruegger's. Latkes were good too! I wish they hadn't ran out of so many options by the time we got there around 12 but understandable! I also wish there were chicken/turkey sausage breakfast meat options :( We paid $36 for 1 drink, latkes, and 2 sandwiches which is on the medium to high side to me which is also why this is only 4 stars

Ask the Community - Rosen’s Bagels

Do they have a Fountain Soda Machine? or is all the Sodas and Tea in bottled form?

When did Rosens Bagel Co open up on Burnet Road? Just curious

Is it all to go no dine in?

    You can totally dine in.

Just Curious If I ordered a Plain Bagel and a Flavored Schmear it will be the price of a plain bagel and the price of the flavored Cream Cheese?

Does this location on Burnet Road Serves Breakfast Sandwiches also?

Yes, they do make breakfast sandwiches. And, like all their offerings; they are first-class. Enjoy!

Jo's Coffee is exactly the kind of place that makes you want to stay for "just one coffee" and…read moresomehow end up spending half your day there. Whether you're looking to get some work done, meet a friend, or simply people-watch, this spot checks all the boxes. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and even when it gets busy, there seems to be plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating available. I stopped in on a Thursday morning and enjoyed the chilaquiles, a latte, and one of the most beautiful raspberry scones I've seen in a while. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The menu also deserves a shoutout for seamlessly transitioning from breakfast to lunch and even happy hour offerings later in the day. One of the highlights was how easy it was to settle in and work. The WiFi was fast and reliable, and I was able to comfortably spend about three hours there without feeling rushed. What truly stood out, though, was the customer service. Every interaction was warm, friendly, and genuine. The staff created such a welcoming environment that it genuinely elevated the entire experience. Between the great food, fast WiFi, comfortable seating, and outstanding hospitality, Jo's Coffee was the perfect way to spend a Thursday morning.

I hate to be a Yelp warrior or whatever - but for the sake of other patrons I felt compelled to say…read moresomething. I came here yesterday with my girlfriend and we split a chicken salad sandwich. As someone who doesn't typically eat chicken salad, I was unaware it could contain tree nuts. I took one bite, felt an unexpected crunch, and then felt my throat start to swell. My girlfriend asked a worker if she knew if the chicken salad contained nuts and she frantically exclaimed "oh no! I don't know!" before asking the kitchen. She then came back and said "it has pecans! Is that bad?" And I said "yes. Kinda bad" Luckily because I only had one bite and then proceeded to chew on a few Benadryl I ended up being okay and my throat and lungs were all back to normal in an hour or so, even if I had to spend my day in bed high on said Benadryl. If I had eaten any more of the sandwich though, I very easily could have ended up in the ER. All that to say - the menu does not make any mention of pecans being in the chicken salad, either in-store or online. Which is strange because tree nuts are disclosed in some of the other menu items. This feels like a bit of an oversight, no? Fellow nut allergy-havers: do you avoid chicken salad altogether? Am I ignorant for not knowing the risk of ordering chicken salad? I don't know but this did ruin a whole day for me and very easily could've cost me $2000 and a trip to the ER if I really enjoyed the taste of the sandwich. (Luckily I did not.) Sorry to leave a shady diva review for a time-honored Austin institution - the worker we spoke to seemed very apologetic and reasonably frightened. But you you've really gotta add that *contains tree nuts or your customers are gonna end up intubated. Not very cool! Feel free to send me money or whatever. Please don't send me a gift card.
