We enjoyed our visit here! The actual bagels (the dough) of course were the best part and we tried one with bacon egg and cheese as well as one with smoked salmon. It was quite tasty and satiating which was nice and it was nice to see a variety of bagel opens available. I also didn't realize that they had a drive thru so I might have to utilize that next time for convenience's sake. I'll definitely be returning so I can try other bagels there! Shoutout to the lady making the drinks, she was very sweet.

This is my second time stopping by, and it's a must stop for bagel lovers in the area. The staff is warm and friendly and greets everyone who walks in. Today they were offering samples of different flavors. Bagels are massive and delicious.

My new favorite bagel spot in Cedar Park! I was craving a lox bagel and decided to treat myself. I came in around 9 AM on a Wednesday, and it was nice and quiet. There was only one other person there working on their laptop. Since it was my first time, the man working there offered me free bagel samples and helped me choose the best bagel type for the Austin Lox. He explained that all of their bagels are sourdough, with bagels sourced from Philadelphia and salmon from New York. I noticed a sign listing their cream cheese flavors and was shocked to see a date flavor. I mentioned I would try it next time and he went to the back and brought me a generous sample that was at least a couple of tablespoons. It was so good. I also ordered an iced Dubai latte with oat milk. It tasted like an iced mocha, just a bit more bitter and similar to dark chocolate or a French hot chocolate. I would 100% come back. The staff was so nice, the shop is super cute, and there is plenty of parking in the shopping center.

I had their classic lox bagel and it's soooooo incredibly good. The chai latte is also delicious! Really kind staff and there's plenty of seating. Highly recommend. :) Support your local businesses!

The space itself is very cute with lots of seating for people to chat or do work. The staff are so sweet and personable as well, and I received my food and coffee pretty quickly. I got an austin lox sandwich on a za'atar bagel, and I was genuinely shocked at how big the sandwich was. The seasoning of the bagel combined with the scallion cream cheese was so delicious, I'll be coming back in the future with friends and family!

Absolutely fabulous customer service. Such friendly staff and cute, open seating. Delicious flavors of bagels and schmears, and weekend specials flavors. Very affordable comparing to other bagel shops too.

A coffee shop interior features a wooden menu board displaying various coffee drinks and prices, including espresso, cappuccino, and matcha latte. Below the menu, there is an espresso machine with a digital display, surrounded by syrup bottles, disposable cups, and straws. The background includes a patterned wall and a window showing outdoor scenery, indicating a casual cafe setting.

This is a fabulous locally-owned bagel shop. The bagels have great shine, good chew, and soft texture. They are made fresh daily in a variety delicious flavors. And best of all, they taste great! I'm happy to be able to shop local for my bagel needs now.

Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich on Everything Bagel
Brittney M.

Visited Bagel Bear on my way to Cedar Park. The interior is spacious, clean, and full of natural light. I purchased the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. The bagel itself had plenty of seasoning and a great texture. As for the sandwich, it's a good size but it needed a little something to make it more flavorful and bring it all together. I plan to return, but if I get a sandwich I'll add jalapeño cream cheese and get my bacon extra crispy. Service was quick and friendly!

Lovely bagel shop that opened not too long ago on Parmer, and I'm already a fan. Why? Mainly the friendliness of the owner Mo (With his New York roots) and his warmness every time I've visited. What I REALLY liked is the creativity of their bagel flavors. From Za'tar, rosemary to churro bagels alongside with the classics (like sesame, everything and plain ones) they make everything in house. Plenty of flavored cream cheeses as well, the date one was a huge hit with us as well as their scallion flavored one. Every time im in the area I pass by and get a lox bagel and a bag of bagels to take home. Unlike other bagel joints they're also open later which is a huge plus. The restaurant is cute as well with some really nice murals that are inviting. Highly recommended, and the prices are reasonable as well. Hope to see Bagel Bear stick around for a long time to come!

Very clean and friendly establishment. I just got a bagel sandwich but it was tasty and had quality ingredients. Staff was super nice too

Oh we loved the sourdough bagels. Scallion Cream cheese was soo good and very generous. We ordered the everything bagel and Jalapeno Cheddar. We lived Jalapeno Cheddar more than everything. Cappuccino was also good. Order it extra hot if you like. Staff were friendly and great service. Its a pretty casual place to dine in as well.

Sorry we ate the delicious Easter breakfast bagels!!! Everything bagels were perfect!!!

The image shows a glass display case with multiple shelves containing baked goods. The top shelf features pepperoni pizza bagels on a white rectangular tray. The lower shelves hold assorted bagels, including plain and poppy seed varieties, arranged on metal racks. The case is situated in a bakery or cafe setting, with some equipment and a person partially visible in the background.

I have been anticipating this place opening. The best part is they have a pick up window! I love the variety of bagels and that you can get any bagel as a sandwich. The chai is perfection, I like a good spiced chai versus the watered down sweet ones. The dining area is small but cute and relaxing. The workers are friendly and patient for people like me who need a minute to decide what I want. I need to learn the hours so I don't show up when they are closed. I got the cheddar jalapeño bagel and had a turkey club with chips and I got a bagel to go. This is now my new bagel stop.

The woman is wearing a red cap, sunglasses, and a chain necklace, while the boy is dressed in a white shirt. I'm gonna start off by saying I got my meal about 10 minutes later. The potatoes were excellent loved. Em didn't have any complaints about Em. They tasted awesome. They were great now. On the other hand the burrito, not so much. The burrito was soggy, something was off with the meat. It tasted kind of bitter. I don't know if it was because of the barbecue sauce or what I ate about.Half of it before I couldn't eat it anymore. And I tossed it the other half. I was extremely disappointed with the meal.I paid about twenty four twenty five dollars.I believe for the meal and had to throw half of it away.Because it just didn't taste right.I didn't wanna make an issue. It looked phenomenal, just didn't taste like that. The other gripe I had was, I took a bite out of some of the burrito and noticed that it was a big glob of fat. Instead of actual brisket meat I probably should have stuck with the regular, which would have been bacon and eggs. But decided to try that.Because the way to recommended it sad I didn't stay with the eggs and bacon. A lady behind the bar made eye contact with me, greeted me & said sit wherever you want. A lot of tables were taken. There were a couple open, But I'm solo, so I sat up at the bar. Another lady came over and started chatting with me like we were old friends, which I love. God Bless Texas! She was telling me everything is good, you're not going to be disappointed. Burgers are fabulous. And so on. Once she said waffles, I was in! She wondered off cleaning and helping other patrons. I looked over the menu, saw chicken and waffles. I was sold! A young man came over and asked if I had a drink in mind. I said yes. Mexican Coke. Would you believe I've never had Mexican Coke before. It's true. This was my first, right here at Texas Toast Breakfast and Burgers. Memories being made. To be honest, I don't drink soda much at all. I also said I was ready with my food order too. Chicken and waffles. He said good choice, it's a big Texas shaped waffle (love it) with a big piece of fried chicken. He put my order in and gave me my Coke in a bottle. No fountain type drink. Felt like an 80's Coke commercial with a real glass bottle. Feeling fancy. Since I'm solo, I put my ear phones in and listened to my own music. A little Lenny Kravitz, American Women, if you're interested in what I was listening to. My plate came out, and Oh ! My ! Word !!! Chicken & waffle big as my plate. I nearly cried, gasped, unbelievable! Seriously, this was a solid breakfast, and now I'm really bummed I've missed out for 5 years! I joined the clean plate club even though I was completely stuffed. Chicken was tender, juicy, hot and fried perfectly. Light crispy, not greasy. So, so good. The waffle was light & fluffy, but once I smeared the butter on it and soaked it with syrup, I put the chicken back on top of the waffle and cut away at both. Solid breakfast. Completely epic. Enjoyed every bite. Was in my own little world with my music and good food and an amazing Mexican soda. The service, way top notch. I felt like family. I grew up eating (and later making) really good chicken fried steak. So I didn't come in casual. I came in ready to evaluate. First things first: this spot is tucked into a strip mall, and if you're not paying attention, you'll drive right past it. Keep your eyes open. Walking in, though? Completely different story. The vibe is laid-back, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. We were greeted right away and told to sit wherever we liked. Midday on a Wednesday meant it was nice and quiet; no wait, no chaos. Drinks were simple - Mexican Coke for me (always a win), fountain Pepsi for my lunchmate. (it's always nice when they have both options) We both ordered the chicken fried steak because of course we did. That's what brought us here. Sides: Me: green beans + mashed potatoes Them: salad + mashed potatoes Gravy situation: Me: classic Them: chorizo gravy Food came out quickly, which I always appreciate. Let's break it down honestly: The breading on the chicken fried steak? Perfection. Crispy, well done, exactly what you want. The meat itself? That's where things fell short. It needed more tenderizing--cutting into it took effort, and the texture leaned dense and chewy instead of that tender, fork-friendly bite you're hoping for. On top of that, it was missing seasoning, which made the whole thing feel a little flat despite that beautiful crust. The chorizo gravy (per my lunchmate)? Solid. Good flavor. But even that couldn't fully make up for the lack of seasoning in the meat. Sides were a mixed bag. Flavor was there--but mine had noticeable cold spots, like they'd been reheated unevenly. My lunchmate's sides were warm, but not quite hot. Now here's where they win big: The service. Top notch across the board. Everyone was kind, attentive, and welcoming without hovering. The owner even came by to chat for a bit - super friendly, clearly passionate, and we genuinely enjoyed the conversation and hearing about the food. That kind of hospitality goes a long way. Overall? I'd come back. But next time, I'm switching it up. The owner confidently recommended the waffles, and after that conversation, I'm willing to give them a shot. Because while the chicken fried steak didn't quite hit the mark for me this time, the people and the atmosphere? Absolutely worth another visit.

But hey, the outdoor seating is lovely, so problem solved! Here's where things get a little greasy--literally. First Watch proudly markets itself as a champion of fresh, whole ingredients and quality cooking. I've been a fan for exactly that reason. But on my most recent visit, something was... off. The food had this noticeably greasier quality, and I'm pretty confident they switched to a cheaper cooking oil (canola or similar vegetable oil, if I had to guess). For context: certain oils don't agree with me--they trigger migraines and general unwellness. And sure enough, within hours, I was both nauseous and nursing a headache. Not exactly the "fresh start" First Watch promises. Everything else was solid, but I can't give five stars when a restaurant's practice doesn't match its principles. If you're sensitive to oils or generally avoid the cheaper varieties, proceed with caution or ask about their current cooking oil before ordering anything fried or sautéed. Still love the concept--just hoping they get back to their roots (and better oils).
