Came here after work one day and went on a Tuesday for their BOGO Pizza. FYI, parking can be a bit hard if you are looking to park near the restaurant during this time, but it isn't impossible. I got there around a little after 6 p.m. and was seated the moment I got in. The hostess also recommended us some things and told us about the special pizza they had at the moment as well. The waiter came back and told us we picked a good day to try this place (BOGO Pizza) as it was my first time here. He gave us some time to look at the menu and came back later to get our order. You guessed it, we got two pizzas because of the BOGO. The pizza does take some time as it is made fresh. The pizza had a nice crust and a good amount of topping on it. I got their Chicken Parmesan Pizza (Chicken Parmesan, Marinara, Pizza Cheese, Basil). I was able to finish about half of it by myself and got the other half to go for lunch/dinner the next day. The waiter was also nice and got us a free dessert since it was our first time there. They served us Zeppoles, very similar to beignets but not quite. They were great and it came with this honey dipping sauce. I wish the honey was a bit melted down or had a different consistency because it was hard to dip the zeppoles into it. Who doesn't have a nice hot fried dough with powdered sugar on it? The restaurant itself is a decent size for it. I know they have another location as well and 2 other ones that are slightly bigger with a larger menu. Stopped by this spot due to Cobo Bob's running out of tortillas for burritos. I was in town for business and looked up Tony C's and it looked good. Walked in and the place clean and nice the staff was friendly ordered the meat pizza because why not and ordered it a large to take home and eat some later. My wife and I went to this restaurant by accident (was looking for Tony C's Pizza and Beer Garden) but we were very happy that we ended up here. We ended up getting the Zucchini Sticks (amazing) and the 16 inch Vegetarian pizza (really great choice), and even though we wanted to get dessert, we didn't have any room left in our stomachs. If we had to pick something, it was probably gonna be the chocolate cake to be honest. Our waiter was the bartender for the night and even though he was really busy, he still provided excellent service and made sure we were well taken care of. Guy deserves a raise for handling tables and the bar. The manager on the floor was really nice as well. He was friendly with everyone who came in and you could tell he actually did care about the customers in the restaurant. Wow. Color me impressed. So my husband and I actually won a gift card for a trivia night at another Tony c's beer garden location. We had never been to a Tony c's before that so we thought they were all the same. Clearly not - this one was a restaurant while the others were like order at the counter and seat yourselves. Thankfully, beer garden or not didn't matter, they still accepted my gift card thank goodness :) Considering my experience at the Anderson ln beer garden wasn't the greatest, my expectations were not ridiculously high when I arrived. But I was very wrong, this place was eons better than the other! The manager on the floor was super kind and helpful, our waiter was doing everything (and I mean everything - waiting on multiple tables, running food, filling waters, AND bartending at the bar), and the food was next level compared to my first experience at another Tony c's. The food was high quality and the atmosphere was comfortable and stylish. We got the veg pizza but subbed the mushrooms for eggplant, and the zucchini sticks for an appetizer. We would have loved to get dessert but we literally couldn't fit any more in our stomachs. We look forward to returning and trying more of their delish food! read more

We walked in on a whim and were seated right away! On a Wednesday night the bar was full and restaurant about 1/3 full. We had the calamari to start and it was fantastic. There were three of us, and tried the Chicken Marsala which was a daily special. The chicken was very good, cooked well. The whole dish had great flavor. The pepperoni pizza, nice crust (fire roasted is a favorite) pepperonis were perfection. Finally the Fettuccine chicken Alfredo, the chicken was tender and fresh. The sauce was a perfect combination of creamy and flavor. While the restaurant is easily a go to, and had a good fill-it wasn't too loud that we couldn't have a nice dinner conversation. The decor was tasteful and not overwhelming. The bar is cramped a bit, getting to/from the bathroom is dangerous. I ended up getting bumped into a table, sharp corners and sides don't match well lol (I am clumsy!) Full transparency we were headed to the League, but turned away due to lack of staffing. we were disappointed, until we saw the warm and inviting patio of Tony's! An excellent save! I've been meaning to come by here and their buy one/get one Tuesday deal brought me in. The restaurant was packed and I had no reservation so my wait was 30 minutes. The bar and waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has seating inside and out. Here's what I had: Margherita pizza- flavorful, thin sliced and crispy. 5 stars! Mama Mia pizza- nice amount of meat on my pie. Thin, crispy and solid! Burrata Caprese salad- excellent tasting cheese and tomato Nutella Stromboli - this was just ok for me. It's a lot of bread. Chocolate cake would have been nicer. Service- Outstanding! Other servers helped my server as she was slammed. I appreciated the teamwork! I'll be back to try more of the menu! read more

Jacob remains the best bartender in the area and it is a credit to the restaurant that they have been able to keep him. He knows his customers and takes care of his regulars. My father-in-law invited us to meet him here. When we arrived, he already was there, seated with a bottle of wine on ice. To my surprise, it still took probably 15-20 minutes before anyone came over to introduce themselves as our server or ask what we wanted to drink. Once our server was established though, things were fine. The food is better than Olive Garden. The pizza; which my husband ordered, was quite flavorful. The lasagna; which I ordered, was good, but in comparison to other places that I like lasagna, I'd rate it maybe second. Because it was our first time visiting, they surprised us with a dessert, which was very welcome. I appreciate that the music which plays here isn't strictly Italian music, it is included but not exclusively Italian music. Overall I did like this place. Their pizza is probably their best food. If you get pasta, adding meat nearly doubles the cost; which I find to be pretty ridiculous. What stood out from door to table was the service. Attentive and polite, with the perfect amount of check ins. Didn't have to wait long for anything, and the manager himself stopped by our table to introduce the feature dessert for first time visitors, which was free, delicious and such a great treat! While the space is a little smaller on the inside, it doesn't feel that way. Still a very private experience and you can have an intimate conversation at your table. We were hesitant in trying out a pizza chain but I'm glad we did! The pizzas (veggie and mushroom) were delicious. For the veggie pizza we ordered the one on their website not in the menu (with pesto, artichoke hearts and Kalamata olives etc). Ate at the Tony C's on W. Parmer for lunch. We ordered the buffalo mozzarella as an appetizer. Two pieces come with some marinara dashed around and a little on top. The breading was not crispy, although the two pieces were tasty. The marinara was good, tangy and hearty. At $8.99 for two triangular pieces, a bit pricey, especially considering the breading was not crispy. We then each ordered two pieces of pizza on the lunch special for $11.99. Just to let you know, the singular pieces are very large; they look like they come from a large sized pizza pie. We each had to have a to-go box for the remaining one piece. The pizza was just marginal. This is the second time I have eaten at Tony C's, and the pizza at the Anderson Lane location was also just marginal. I have always heard rave reviews about Tony C's pizza. Not in either one of my experiences eating pizza there has it been memorable enough to go back. I don't know what's changed., whether it be lack of ownership, oversight, or lazy management, but there are far too many good pizza places in Austin now and the comparison put Tony C's below at least 10 of them. I ordered the pepperoni with caramelized onion , and both of my pieces came out wrong,, and rather than remake them for me they just threw the pepperoni on top of the cheese with caramelized onion so it didn't have that oven baked crisp on the pepperoni, and the pepperoni had a rubbery texture and didn't look appealing. Plus, not being baked in or onto the pizza, when I bit into the slice the pepperoni just fell off. It was also extremely tough to cut with a knife and fork, which I resorted to because the pepperoni kept falling off and the piece was so large. Disappointing. The service was efficient however, our waiter Joshua had a bit of an attitude . I arrived before my dining companion, and told him we would be wanting the buffalo mozzarella appetizer, and to wait a moment before the order is put in. When he brought me my water several minutes later, I then stated she would be about 5-10 more minutes, so let's wait until she gets here for the order to go in. He replied "I got that the first time". Then, when my pizza came out in error, and I informed him that the pepperoni was not on the pizza he stated "that's what you ordered, cheese with caramelized onion, that's why I repeated it". He did repeat my order when I placed it, and stated pepperoni with caramelized onion. I hate being challenged by servers; especially when they're wrong. Otherwise, the service was fine. The ambience in the restaurant is nice; dark tones with typical New York style looking tables with the standard pizza and Italian toppings on the table. Place was very clean. There is a bar at the front that is appealing. A pretty disappointing lunch for almost $40, especially with server attitude. If you're in the neighborhood and have a hankering for some Italian, it will do, otherwise find a better pizza place. read more

From the warm, cozy environment to the excellent service, I highly recommend this place. Prices are fair. A cool wall of wine is inviting though I didn't drink. You can design your own pizza or choose a signature one. We ordered baked breaded mozzarella, lasagna and pizza with eggplant and ricotta cheese and basil. The food was great. Loved the airy crust, both crunchy and chewy. Don't settle for pizza without a great crust! Ya know how servers used to check in on you to see how your meal is? That is done here, a little extra attention. :) And after we mentioned this was our first time here, the manager stopped by to talk to us and treated us to zeppoles! I got a Caesar side salad (which was a great size btw) and the feature pasta which was a spicy rigatoni with spicy vodka sauce and thinly sliced sausage. Both were superrr yummy. My friend got the chicken parmesan and said it was also very good. Our food was ready super fast which was a pleasant surprise.
