Great Pizza Spot! We ordered 2 pizzas and both were delicious. The service was quick with lots of servers and other workers ready to serve the customers. They have a great outdoor patio that we didn't get to enjoy because it was rainy and cold but if we are ever int he area again we will definitely go enjoy the patio. I originally wanted to order Happy Slice Pizza solely for their pepperoni hot honey pizza, so I got it on Uber Eats the other day! I think the pizza is just okay, and it's not good enough to be charging $25+ per pizza. I'm not sure if it costs the same if you pick up in person, but that's the cost excluding delivery or service fees on the app. They charge almost $1 for every additional sauce, and I think if you're going to be charging that high for a pizza, at least give two dipping sauces for free. It just screams highway robbery. I also usually think pizza tastes quite good even when it's been in the fridge and gets microwaved again, but the texture does not hold up nor does the taste. I don't think I'll order from here again. read more

It is an honor to support a local family business and we truly enjoyed the food. I'm so happy --no pun intended for Happy Slice Pizza to celebrate their official grand opening 10/29/25 . We have driven past the location all month long waiting for the day to come so we could finally have a good pizza spot near our house that we can sit down with friends and family and have some food/drinks to unwind. The staff is very attentive everyone is pleasant and extremely polite. The atmosphere is very inviting and is upbeat but not loud or obnoxious. The prices are comparable to what the market dictates. This is a perfect spot for a slice some good drinks and to sit on the back patio while dining on some fresh pizza pie. The restaurant is clean and although not very big as far as seating they have utilized the space extremely efficiently making it intimate yet airy and comfortable. Now for the part you've been waiting to read about --which is the food. First of all the pizza crust is perfect not floppy or overly greasy. The crust has a perfect crunch and yet still light and airy not at all dense or heavy, this is followed by quality toppings which pull everything together and make a great pie. You really will enjoy any version you try. For our first visit we chose the Chicken Bacon Ranch as well as a half pepperoni and half cheese pizza which is big enough to feed two adults and several kids. We really want to come back and have the Sweet Heat or Barbacoa Pizza they both look so delicious. The Barbacoa comes from Mama Betty's which we all know is delicious btw ! The pizza isn't the only thing that's outstanding Happy Slice Pizza has really great appetizers and some really well done mixed drinks. I had an Old fashioned that I really enjoyed along with some of the best chicken wings around town. The wings are big and meaty and are baked not fried. On top of all that food we also had some really delicious marinara meatballs with garlic knots that all my kids including our 10 month old devoured. I know it's a lot of food but someone had to do it to bring you the best and most well rounded (like my belt line) review of this new place in our neighborhood. Last but not least owner Forrest Higdon brought my son out a not yet released s'more's pizza because it was his birthday which he didn't have to do but we greatly appreciate and enjoyed! I highly recommend trying Happy Slice Pizza ,they open at 3pm daily and close at 9pm weekdays and 11pm weekends ... there is outdoor dining beer wine and mixed drinks. Really disappointed because our first visit was excellent. We ordered takeout and got a delicious pizza with evenly distributed toppings and wonderful dollops of ricotta. It was clear that someone took care in preparing it. Unfortunately, our second visit was a completely different experience. The pizza was noticeably overbaked, which left it very dry and lacking the flavor we enjoyed the first time. The ricotta had dried out, and the whole pizza felt more like dry bread than the pizza we remembered. Given the price, consistency matters. I wish there were better quality checks before orders go out, because we know from our first visit that this restaurant is capable of making a much better pizza. Not sure if we'll return. read more

OMG y'all! Just stopped in for a quick bite at a new pizza it in Cedar Park! It is called Happy Slice and they make some darn good pizza! If you are looking for a foldable slice with tasty toppings you have to try this place out! I was met right away by the greeter and she showed me to a booth. My server Caelyn came over right away and showed me how to order and get service! You twist a pizza slice up for service and leave it down when things are chill. They have an awesome lunch special which is what I had...two choices were: a slice , Ceasar salad and drink OR two slices and a drink for $10.00 plus tax. I opted for the two slices...I ordered a slice of Pepperoni and one of their daily rotating specialty slices with a drink. The pizza arrived quickly and was hot and fresh the cheese had a great pull and the pizza dough was crispy, thin and just the right amount of sauce! The topping were fresh and generous. To say the place made me "Happy" was an understatement. I am looking forward to returning later for another taste one of their specialty pie slices! They also have whole pies in two sizes with both specialty's and customizable options. But don't sleep on their sandwiches, unique to me so I will be trying great later! Did not have room for any of the dessert pies but also on my bucket list! Great for families and also to watch sports! They have a bar for the grown ups and are a place for a Verde watch party! Sadly this completely missed the mark for us. Pizza was honestly quite tasteless (the red sauce had very little flavour) and the Caesar salad was composed of a measly portion of bagged shredded lettuce - the kind you'd find in your Jersey Mike's sub. It was really hard to pay for that and honestly was a little ironic given the fact that the USP of this place is better ingredients - (e.g. no bleached flours, no citric acid aka corn syrup+mold). My husband and I brought our pup to sit on the patio and enjoy an early dinner on Friday night. The patio is super kid and dog friendly! What stood out to me is how kind the staff was. Every single person was so nice and willing to serve us in any way. It was refreshing and really set the tone for our experience! We made it in time for happy hour so $7 pepperoni rolls and $1 off beer. I personally was intrigued by this restaurant for their cleaner ingredients. The pizza was delicious! The crust isn't too soggy, but has the perfect crunch. We love that they incorporate Mama Betty's proteins too. You can't go wrong with any speciality pizza! We love this place and have been back several times. First of all, it has a great back patio with screens playing sports so of course that works best for our fam. Second, the pizza, wings, and other apps are amazing. We're big fans of the sweet heat and barbacoa betty. A great twist here is that the ingredients and the way the food is prepared makes the food considerably heathier than you'd find at other pizza spots. For example, the wings taste like the best wings you've had, but they bake them. Third, the cocktails are so good... like they were made by a great bartender, not a pizza restaurant. They've obviously placed a lot of focus on making their drink game outstanding. Finally, the staff is super friendly and the service is great. They'e got a card system, which I love. Put your card up and any staff member will shoot right over to get you whatever you need. So glad to have this great option in our area and we'll definitely be regulars! read more

Sorry I came in an hour before close but even after a server came up to me and asked if I was waiting on an order, 15 minutes after I was told it would take 5 they didn't want to come tell me how long was left or even just apologize that it took so long. Had to watch the order screen myself and go ask someone to grab my single slice of pizza out of the hotbox, once I clearly saw it was finished I had to go ask a server to get it for me. Visited with my daughter . Had high hopes as it's same owners as mama Betty's and I love that place. Service was exceptionally slow. From walking in to getting food it was 40 minutes. This was at lunch time. There were only 2 other groups when we arrived . Guess they're still working out their systems. There was a lot of options for their toppings and sauces I thought the crust was tough and chewy. Wowzers I'm so happy this place opened. We hadn't heard about it ahead of time and honestly stopped by late Halloween night on a whim and learned they'd just opened a few days prior. And wow I'm glad we did. There's seating both inside (tables and bar) and a large outdoor patio under a massive. We tried 3 different drinks from the bar - all of them were amazing. We started with the garlic knots and they were honestly perfect - little bit of crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Then we had the triple threat (3 different types of pepperoni) and honestly it's the best pizza I've had in NW Austin. Crispy bottom, but still some soft dough up top and delicious crust. The staff was amazing, and they had nothing but great things to say about both Happy Slice and their sister restaurant next door Mama Betty's. The owner actually stopped by and chatted with us and was super friendly and welcoming. Both the owner and staff apologized for any new restaurant growing pains, but honestly it felt like this place had been up and running for a while - everything was smooth for us. I took my mom and daughter here to eat lunch and discovered they were not open for lunch yet. However, they offered to serve us what was available, which was their gluten-free crust pizza and wings. My mom has a bazillion food sensitivity issues, so we were happy to try this place out. I must say, the gluten-free crust was amazingly good. The baked, not fried, wings were great too. Bonus that I didn't feel like a needed a nap afterwards. The hospitality, friendliness, and overall service was 5-stars. The restaurant itself has a good vibe and comfortable layout. Saw pictures of their food online and thought it looked good enough to try. Before I go any further the food is very good. Where they lost me is service people kept passing us by we finally got our drinks and then someone else comes by and asks what we'd like to drink. Our teas were right there in the table. Then my wife orded sandwich thing that they have on the menu. The waiter said those are only served at lunch. The menu does not say that. We were there on a Sunday evening. If you're going to have a separate lunch menu then have a separate lunch menu. We ordered a pizza that we really didn't want BUT it ended up being very good. Nice crisp crust not limp like most pizza places. The people sitting next to us kept having to get up and get their own refills. We would have done the same but we were having tea and I guess they keep that in the back. Then I pay. The waiter brings back the bill. Before I have a chance to sign it some other waitress comes and grabs the check to go charge me again. I had to stop her and ask for my card back.
