It is an honor to support a local family business and we truly enjoyed the food. I'm so happy --no pun intended for Happy Slice Pizza to celebrate their official grand opening 10/29/25 . We have driven past the location all month long waiting for the day to come so we could finally have a good pizza spot near our house that we can sit down with friends and family and have some food/drinks to unwind. The staff is very attentive everyone is pleasant and extremely polite. The atmosphere is very inviting and is upbeat but not loud or obnoxious. The prices are comparable to what the market dictates. This is a perfect spot for a slice some good drinks and to sit on the back patio while dining on some fresh pizza pie. The restaurant is clean and although not very big as far as seating they have utilized the space extremely efficiently making it intimate yet airy and comfortable. Now for the part you've been waiting to read about --which is the food. First of all the pizza crust is perfect not floppy or overly greasy. The crust has a perfect crunch and yet still light and airy not at all dense or heavy, this is followed by quality toppings which pull everything together and make a great pie. You really will enjoy any version you try. For our first visit we chose the Chicken Bacon Ranch as well as a half pepperoni and half cheese pizza which is big enough to feed two adults and several kids. We really want to come back and have the Sweet Heat or Barbacoa Pizza they both look so delicious. The Barbacoa comes from Mama Betty's which we all know is delicious btw ! The pizza isn't the only thing that's outstanding Happy Slice Pizza has really great appetizers and some really well done mixed drinks. I had an Old fashioned that I really enjoyed along with some of the best chicken wings around town. The wings are big and meaty and are baked not fried. On top of all that food we also had some really delicious marinara meatballs with garlic knots that all my kids including our 10 month old devoured. I know it's a lot of food but someone had to do it to bring you the best and most well rounded (like my belt line) review of this new place in our neighborhood. Last but not least owner Forrest Higdon brought my son out a not yet released s'more's pizza because it was his birthday which he didn't have to do but we greatly appreciate and enjoyed! I highly recommend trying Happy Slice Pizza ,they open at 3pm daily and close at 9pm weekdays and 11pm weekends ... there is outdoor dining beer wine and mixed drinks. My husband and I brought our pup to sit on the patio and enjoy an early dinner on Friday night. The patio is super kid and dog friendly! What stood out to me is how kind the staff was. Every single person was so nice and willing to serve us in any way. It was refreshing and really set the tone for our experience! We made it in time for happy hour so $7 pepperoni rolls and $1 off beer. I personally was intrigued by this restaurant for their cleaner ingredients. The pizza was delicious! The crust isn't too soggy, but has the perfect crunch. We love that they incorporate Mama Betty's proteins too. You can't go wrong with any speciality pizza! It truly felt lighter than a big, greasy pizza you can get elsewhere. We will most certainly be back and tell all our friends and family to join us! We loved our experience at Happy Slice Pizza!

OMG y'all! Just stopped in for a quick bite at a new pizza it in Cedar Park! It is called Happy Slice and they make some darn good pizza! If you are looking for a foldable slice with tasty toppings you have to try this place out! I was met right away by the greeter and she showed me to a booth. My server Caelyn came over right away and showed me how to order and get service! You twist a pizza slice up for service and leave it down when things are chill. They have an awesome lunch special which is what I had...two choices were: a slice , Ceasar salad and drink OR two slices and a drink for $10.00 plus tax. I opted for the two slices...I ordered a slice of Pepperoni and one of their daily rotating specialty slices with a drink. The pizza arrived quickly and was hot and fresh the cheese had a great pull and the pizza dough was crispy, thin and just the right amount of sauce! The topping were fresh and generous. To say the place made me "Happy" was an understatement. I am looking forward to returning later for another taste one of their specialty pie slices! They also have whole pies in two sizes with both specialty's and customizable options. But don't sleep on their sandwiches, unique to me so I will be trying great later! Did not have room for any of the dessert pies but also on my bucket list! Great for families and also to watch sports! They have a bar for the grown ups and are a place for a Verde watch party! Gotta give Happy Slice Pizza five stars and wish them success!

Great service from Eryn. Pizza was fantastic with perfect crispy crust with fresh ingredients. Specialty cocktails were delicious. Will be back soon to try more from the extensive menu.

Garlic knots.

All these years, many restaurants have come and gone, but Pinthouse has continued to impress…read more Whether you are taking the family out, or simply grabbing a beer and doing some work, there is no better place. I came in and grabbed a beer at the bar and worked on my laptop while I waited for my buddy to join. Even though it was a busy week night, there was still plenty of seating. Every single employee is incredibly friendly and seems like they truly care about the work they do. We ordered a pizza, salad, and Italian sub. The pizza and salad were fantastic as always. I probably wouldn't order the sub again but that won't change my love for this place.

We waited maybe 20 minutes to order then another 45 minutes for food, which wasn't that bad for a busy Friday night. We were crowded outside, and we didn't really have enough table or chair space. That's to be expected when we descended upon the restaurant with such a large group. For six people, we ordered three pizzas to share. We definitely could have shared with more people because we had some pizza left over. We got The Works, Shroomin' Goat, and Texas Chicken Ranch pizzas. The Texas Chicken Ranch was by far our favourite. It was really good, while the other two were alright. The crust was weirdly bubbly and amorphous looking. There was a lot of crust. The Works was okay. The sauce and meat weren't particularly tasty. The Shroomin' Goat was a vegetarian pizza with a lot of arugula, which is not my type of pizza, but our vegetarian friend said it was okay. Great vibes at Pinthouse overall though, and I have enjoyed their other pizzas in the past.

I've shared my praise of Allday Pizza in Hyde Park many, many times on Yelp and just around town to…read morepeople talking about how truly incredible their pizza is. There is nothing more delectable than their unique and unbelievable slices of pizza. On top of that, their Caesar salad, and everything else in between is incredible as well. The only "issue" with Allday in Hyde Park is that you are always waiting in line. Their location in Hyde Park is their second location and is their most popular by far. Though the wait in line at any hour is worth it. Sometimes you just don't want to make that commitment. That's where their location in Terrytown shows up as the true superstar. Located right off of Lake Austin, the Allday Pizza is attached to Flo's Wine Bar and Bottle Shop as a walk up window. There isn't a lot of parking at Flo's, but plenty of free street parking right next to Allday on Pecos Street. What is crazy is that when we walked in at 12:15 PM on Sunday, might I add, there was no line to order. Plenty of people going to town on their pizza, but no line to order. This was incredible. In Hyde Park, a 12:15 PM arrival would mean a 1:30 PM meal. Not here! The outdoor space is shaded and well covered which was great for a rainy day like today was. You can also sit inside Flo's with your pizza and enjoy some wine alongside it. You can do no wrong here! Another reason I wanted to go to the Terrytown location was because unlike Hyde Park, they serve by the slice cuts of the Cacio E Pepe that I've been dying to try. After our order, we grabbed some plates, cups of water and napkins, and our food was ready in mere seconds. I had a slice of the Stracciatella, the Pep & Pepp, and of course, the Cacio E Pepe. The Stracciatella is creamy and delightful and the Pep & Pepp has a minor kick but really balances against the Stracciatella. The Cacio E Pepe was fantastic. No tomato sauce, but the peppery flavor (that you would expect in a cheese and pepper pizza) was outstanding. It tasted like a well done sauce on crust. My girlfriend got a Tomato Tomatoe that I tried a bite of and was impressed. The lemon pepper panko is just like the one included in the MVP Caesar Salad and it really did a lot of heavy lifting in the slice because it is simply so incredible. The salad which I got a bite of is delectable. How do the greens taste so fresh? Why is the dressing so delightful? It's still the best Caesar I've ever had. Because there was no line, we indulged a bit and got a Dirt Cup to share for dessert. It consisted of their Dark Chocolate Soft Serve, chocolate sauce, an Oreo crumble made in-house, and gummy worms. The soft serve gelato is nuts. I haven't had it at the Hyde location and this was my first impression. What a star on its own. I have not had a single bad menu item at Allday. You can't go wrong. Hyde Park's location might feel a little more sophisticated with its beautiful architecture, full bar with wines, cocktails, and beers on draft, and a little bit more expansive of a menu, but the Terrytown location feels a little more peaceful. It is in a beautiful area of Austin and the ability to arrive and be done with a meal in about 45 minutes is magical. I think Allday in Terrytown might take over the Hyde Park location as my favorite restaurant in Austin, but it's a close race like debating if Wemby or SGA deserves the MVP more. Both are ceiling raisers and the best food you can have in Austin. RIYL: The best food you can have in Austin with little to no wait.

We paid, got the buzzer for the table, and picked where we wanted to sit with no issues as there weren't very many people there because it was after the lunch rush. My husband ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and I ordered the Fat Queen. The Pepperoni Pizza was good. The Pepperonis were small and tasty. The Fat Queen was just as good. It comes with Pepperoni, Soppressata, and Italian Sausage. I really liked the flavor of all of the meat in the marinara sauce plus the pizza crust is light and fluffy. Overall Pieous is a great place to get some good pizza. The service and pizza were good. I suggest going at an off time that isn't the typical lunch or dinner time.

Make note of their hours as well because they are closed in middle of day. 4-8pm I'm the afternoon does not give a big window to choose your dining time. But the restaurant checks all the boxes. Great ambience. Fun indoor and outdoor seating. Tasty food. Big outdoor space for little ones to play. Convenient location. Decent pricing. The salads are served on big trays which makes sharing easy (even when I didn't really want to share my yummy tossed salad with toasted garbanzo beans and Chunks of fresh mozzarella and a super yummy dressing. The pasta and pizza tasted really good. From an owner of a few pizza places in Houston, I was disappointed in the crispness of the dough. I don't care for pizza that can hold its shape when being held. But if I just told myself it was bread instead- I enjoyed it. It was really the pasta and salad for me. We didn't try too much because we were actually surprised it was open. Many friends mentioned the desserts were to die for. Even Guy on DDD mentioned the caramel rolls were what cinnamon rolls wish they could be. He also LOVED the pastrami sandwiches. So I'd i could do a 1-10 scale I'd give it a 9 for the extra work we had to put in to align with their limited open hours and for the soggy crust. But highest marks on the rest. They also have a room you can rent out in the back or the restaurant and good parking. Next time you want pie- Give pieous a try
