House made dough, sauce, ranch. This business was once a taco truck turned into pizza house. Fresh and sizzling order received. Seating is not ample, taste is great, customer service is mid, pizza is tasty!
One of the best pizzas in Austin. The serve NY style pies and also Sicilian style square pies which are more buttery and thick. The NY Trifecta is my favorite slice which comes with pepperoni, jalapeño, and mushrooms. The interior is tiny and has minimal seating. Outdoor seating is also somewhat limited but you can sit in the next door patio area, too. Park across the street at the church for a guaranteed spot.
Pedroso's gets talked up a lot as the pizza spot in Austin, so I went out of my way to finally try it. I ordered the White Pizza and the Trifecta. Both were solid, but after hearing so much hype, I left feeling a little underwhelmed. If this is the best Austin has to offer, that honestly makes me kind of sad because it's good, but not great. The White Pizza was the bigger letdown for me. It tasted pretty bland, and the cheese could've been melted more. Pro tip: ask them to heat it up extra if you're getting slices. I ordered one as a to go slice, so maybe that played a role, but I've had reheated slices at other places that were still amazing, so I don't think that fully explains it. The Trifecta was better and definitely enjoyable, but still not something I'd rave about. On top of that, the prices are pretty steep for what you get. Overall, it's decent pizza, but not somewhere I'd rush back to. I'll keep trying other spots around town in search of something that really For comparison, it doesn't come close to Luna's in Houston,
Wow, this place really surprised me! My fiancé and I were up in North Austin one evening and decided to pick up pizza on the way home. We did a quick Google search and Pedroso's popped up, so we gave it a shot. We were really impressed! We ordered 2 pies: the salami & arugula, and the sausage & peppers. I am from NY and can be snobby about my pizza, but this was very comparable to stellar NY pies. Highly recommend!
If you like being able to grab a pizza slice, Pedroso's is a delicious treat in north Austin. Located on a quiet street about a block east of Burnet, Pedroso's is next door to Lala's Little Nugget, a cute neighborhood bar and a destination in its own right. Today we're interested in pizza. Both NY style and Sicilian slices are available. Pedroso's NY slice is big and features a beautifully crispy crust that is not excessively droopy. Flavors are spot on if a bit mild. My favorite though is a Grandma's margherita slice featuring a hearty crust and plentiful cheese on top. Slices are warmed before serving and are piping hot. The counter staff is friendly and gets your order out quickly. With Lala's next door it's a 1-2 punch that makes for an awesome visit. Highly recommended.
This pizza was so good! I'm only docking a star because it doesn't really have a parking lot. It shares a lot with Lala's which is notorious for having minimal parking and people getting towed. That being said, if you do luck out and find a spot--this pizza is worth it! I loved the NY slice which was so crispy and flavorful. I enjoyed the grandma style slice but thought the thin slice really stood out most. If I got a different grandma slice, it may be different as I feel like it holds thicker toppings better. I would definitely recommend this place to others
THE BIG: Former pizza truck turned brick and mortar pizza right off of Burnet road. Pizza is made from order so if you're in a pinch, call in! limited parking lot parking. THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wife really wanted pizza after giving birth so the place in mind was Pedroso's. I originally wanted Home Slice but realized it was bit further than where we were from the Hospital. For pizza, I got the Pepp n' Riccotta 16" and they make it fresh in house. It took about 20 minutes from ordering to getting the pizza in hand. Lots of pepperoni and lots of riccotta. The dollops of riccotta was a nice counter balance from the pepperoni fat. THE FINAL BAMBOO: The pizza was around $26 for an entire 16". I'd say this is a great deal for some authentic (and delicious) pizza in the Austin area. I'd definitely come back to try more pizza flavors and the calzone.
Classic pizza, nothing too special, i like the dough/crust. But also my standards for pizza is so high because we have soo many good pizza spots in austin. You cant go wrong getting a pizza from here. They have a lot of different types of pizza which i'm open to trying out next time!
Went back for a Jersey Tomato Pie, but this time I got extra cheese and extra sauce. It elevated the Tomato Pie from excellent to to die for.
Since I'm originally from NY, I'm a tough cookie when it comes to rating pizza. However, I fully give my stamp of approval to this spot. I ordered a square slice and it was delicious! The staff were nice and helpful. Pro tip: they can deliver the pizza to the Christmas bar right next door. Who doesn't love Christmas decor and pizza at the same time? I was also thrilled to hear they are opening a location on Airport. Woo hoo!
09/2025 My wife and I love coming to Pedroso's! You have the option of buying pizza by the slice or whole--they always have a variety of options. My go-to's are definitely the "Sicilian with Pepperoni" or the "Trifecta," which has pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. I highly recommend both! Slices are huge too, so 2 usually does the trick for me, unless you're super hungry. If you'd like something fresh to go along with your pizza try the "Caprese Salad," huge pieces of mozzarella with well-seasoned and tossed Cherry tomatoes--it's great! The restaurant doesn't have indoor seating, at least not large indoor seating--they do have some bar chairs that you can sit on inside, but it would be a squeeze to stay there as people come inside to order or pick-up. They have an outdoor patio with about 5-6 picnic tables, and I believe you can also sit at tables that the neighboring bar has. We haven't come at a time where there hasn't been a place to sit, thankfully. Always great service and great quality!!

Meh it was ok. Was told this would be as good as pizza from NY but clearly not. I wanted mushroom and tomato but they only offer cherry tomatoes instead of sliced which is awful. Tomato on pizza should be sliced so it's flat and covers more of it. The cherry tomatoes are round and just fall off and they tasted sour and off. Also asked for extra tomato sauce on top but they refused. I'm not sure why? They have sauce on top of other pizzas so why was my request denied? It wasn't saucy enough - too dry. The Sicilian slice and calzone was good tho. I think I'd get their Sicilian again. I found their regular pizza disappointing. Also when ordering online it says no changes allowed. Why? Majority of the pies have onion on top and I can't eat onion and they don't allow you to make alterations which is strange. Also no pineapple on the menu - can't order Hawaiian!
Great place for a fast slice of pizza. They have different varieties including New York style. They had different toppings as well. The slices are pretty big and they are priced well. They do have subs and salads as well. Drinks are all canned or bottled. They have a few spots to sit inside and a small area outside. I got the margarita pizza. It was think and crispy. We shared a caprese salad. One slice of pizza and the Caprese salad was enough for lunch. Parking is available on site. read more
Pizza is an above average find. Both tried the NY style and Grandma's style (thicker, square cut). I personally found the meats to be egregiously salty. Nevertheless, the crust was masterful for a pizza-on-the-block option. Service was a great fast-casual. They warmed up per slice orders perfectly. Bar next door and patio seats. No issues parking out back pre-dinner on a Sunday. Personal take: - On the NY style Austin language-- Home Slice has better white pie and crust. All Day tops it for ratio and ingredients. read more
Great spot. After years of hearing how good these pizzas are, I finally had a chance to try them for myself! There were so many slices to choose from but since this was my first time, I went with the NY Style pepperoni. I was only going to get one slice but then I saw the NY Trifecta (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms) so I ordered one of those too! I was greated with a beautiful smile from the employee behind the counter, and after giving her my order, she's asked if I wanted them well done. YES! The pizza was delicious and reminded me of stepping into a random pizza joint in NYC. I'm already planning my next visit. They did not disappoint. read more

I recently tried Pedroso for the first time and it was so good!! I'm a fan of thinly sliced pizza so I was pleased to find that Pedroso offers such. I ordered their Margherita NY style with Pepperoni. The pizza crust was so crispy, thin and delicious . I didn't think crispy pizza could taste so good but it did. I did eat it immediately to get the best experience. The business is more of a take out restaurant. However, there are some bar stools inside if you wanted to eat indoors. Otherwise, they have some outdoor tables right outside the restaurant which is a good option on a nice cool day. The staff was friendly. Will be back to try their other pizza! read more
The slices that are reheated are not as fresh and delicious as a whole pie - they taste like they've been sitting and have been reheated. The whole pies are decent but could have more toppings. The pepperoni on the slices seemed much more plentiful than on the whole pie. The basil is delicious. The red sauce on one of the Grandma Style pizza slices was so salty we had to take some off the pizza. Seating is only outside but they have umbrellas to keep the sun out. read more

Omg we were blown away by this pizza. We just moved here and ordered from this place and it did not disappoint. I think we found our new local pizza place. So fast too! Haha we got the white pizza with no sauce, Parmesan, mozzarella and ricotta cheese and added hot honey and also the Sicilian style cheese pizza. It was super fresh and so freaking good. I highly recommend this place. Can't wait to try some of their other delicious menu options. Small little place. Service was quick and friendly. I will be back read more
Solid pizza for sure. We went in person and waited a bit on pizza was fresh when we got it so I didn't mind. And also look like it was a popular spot on Friday nights, who knew. The only bad part was I almost scraped the bottom of my car coming in, kind of wish it was a sign about that, but I'm sure they have nothing to do with that read more
Been wanting to try Pedroso's for quite a while, and it's sad that this place popped up AFTER I was a regular at Lala's. The pizza did not disappoint! I was shocked to see THREE different types of slices... normal NY slices, Granny slices, and Sicilian. I went for a Granny pepperoni and it was everything I was hoping for. This location is out of the way for me but I will try to keep it in mind when I'm craving a slice as I enjoy the thicker slices that are rare around town. read more
Pedroso's Pizza has been a favorite of mine for a while now, definitely in my top 5 Austin pizza spots. They used to sling pies out of a trailer next to Night Owl (a nice little divey bar, but that's for another review), but they recently consolidated everything into their brick-and-mortar spot on Justin Ln, in a location that used to be Eastside Pies I believe. While the trailer is gone, this place is as good as ever. The pizza is absolutely excellent. They've got a solid variety on the menu: classic New York-style, American-style, and a Grandma-style pizza, although they're sometimes out of the Grandma's. The new spot doesn't have its own dine-in area, but it's right next to Lala's Little Nugget, so you can either grab your pizza to go (which is what I did) or post up at a Lala's picnic table with a drink and enjoy your pizza from there. It's a pretty perfect combo, honestly. Parking can be a little tricky. There are a few spots in front of Lala's, and a neighboring shopping center (Justin's Plaza) with a lot that probably doesn't want you parking there, but I've never seen anyone get towed. Park at your own risk, but it's probably fine. There are already over 200 reviews singing Pedroso's praises, so I'm just another voice in the crowd. But if you were confused about where they're operating these days or thought they were still next to Night Owl, now you know. One location. Same great pizza. Worth the trip. read more

Pedroso's is always my go-to for takeaway pizza... they offer American, NY, Grandma, and Sicilian style with quality ingredients at reasonable prizes. Their crust really sets them apart along with their delicious ingredient combinations! I placed an order around 6:30 pm for an 8:10 pm pick up time on a Saturday night. The order was ready around 8:00 pm. FAST FACTS: * Parking - small lot in front of Lala's with additional parking available at the church and street parking nearby * Online ordering - available online through ToastTab * Seating - outdoor picnic tables or inside the bar * Closed on Mondays SERVICE - I placed an order around 6:30 pm for an 8:10 pm pick up time on a Saturday night. The order was ready around 8:00 pm. The workers were all very pleasant! PRICING - The total was $45.46 after tax ($3.46) but before tip for a 14" American style meatball pie ($19) and 12" Grandma style GOAT ($23). For the quality of ingredients, I think the pricing is reasonable. 14" AMERICAN STYLE MEATBALL PIE (9/10) - This is my favorite pizza from Pedroso's and I get it every time! The American style crust is my favorite of all their offerings... it has such a nice wood-fire taste with the perfect texture (slightly thicker with a good chew). The ricotta cheese is the highlight and it plays off the sweetness of the tomato sauce and the savory meatball pieces so well! The fresh basil on top is delicious. I recommend this to everyone! 12" GRANDMA STYLE GOAT (8/10) - The goat cheese on this with the sweet Peruvian peppers is PHENOMENAL! There's a super subtle hint of heat but you get mostly salty and sweet flavors from the meat, cheese, and peppers. The grandma style crust is good (crispy and chewy) but the American style crust has better flavor and texture. I'd order this again because the toppings are that good! I've had nothing but a great experience every time I visit Pedroso's and will continue to try flavor offerings. I'd recommend Pedroso's to anyone in the north Austin area who wants delicious pizza! read more
I've been so excited to try Pedroso's and went straight for an NYC pie. I was excited to see reasonable prices (i'm looking at you home slice; it's not like your pizzas have eggs on top of them). I gotta tell you, Pedroso's really nails it - and one of the things that's been so hard to get right - the cheese/sauce combination texture and flavor, and it was fantastic. Crust is crispy - although not quite the NYC (or jersey, cuz obviously jersey pizza is better than NYC) probably due to water and types of flour. But that's just little things. And even better - a couple hours later after the pizza was sitting out, it was almost better..perfect for weekends of movies and sports and all that kinda stuff. Def excited about Pedroso's and can't wait to go back! Also, to take family and friends who are like - I could never live in ATX, they don't have the same pizza. read more

The raves about this pizza are true! The Sicilian deep dish meat pizza was amazing - fluffy thick crust with crispy edges and bottom. And lots of flavor! I got it to go and had to take a pic to brag to my friend that I finally tried it after his glowing recommendation. Here is that photo! I ordered around 6 pm on a Friday while having drinks at Lala's next door. It took about an hour but it was worth it. The staff was working hard churning out pizzas but were polite and helpful. I will be back for more! read more
Wow! This is the best pizza I've had in Austin!!! Tons of slices to choose from. The staff was And brought our pizza and subs next door to us. They have outside seating. The little shop is clean and cute. I'll be back to try the other pizzas. I hope they continue to grow and hopefully open a store up in Cedar Park. Ya gotta try them. read more
Uh-oh. It's been two days since I ate a slice of pizza here, and I can't stop thinking about it. Why? Because, well, it may be the best damn pizza in Austin. It's the best damn pizza I've had in Austin, anyway. If I were to speculate, I would guess that David Portnoy (the famous "one bite everybody knows the rules" pizza review guy) would give this pizza a 7.4 at the very least. Which, if you don't know, 7.4 is a really, really good score - and David is super picky. My slice had zero flop! No flop whatsoever! I hate flop. I'll be back, and in fact, would even drive out of my way for more pizza here. Keep up the Lord's work, Pedroso! read more

We wanted to get in the holiday spirit and went to Lala's Little Nugget and while I was excited to see all the decorations, I was most excited about Pedroso's Pizza since they're right next door! We ordered the NY Style Sausage and Peppers this time but I've had the Grandma Style before and that was really good. The Sausage and Peppers was *chef's kiss* - also, perfect straight out the oven and enjoyed it in the covered tent on a cold night. Staff were super friendly and the pizza was just so good! I appreciated that it wasn't super soggy with the marinara. The slice folded over nicely and I just loved the crunch in the crust. So so good! read more
OMFPizza!!!!! I am not sure I can gather my thoughts enough to put into words how delicious the pizza is. I'm delirious with joy over their red top! Holy poo, that sauce! Punched with flavors from fresh ingredients and proper cooking. It's so refreshing to have sauce that doesn't taste like it came from the bottom of a can that sit too long on the shelf at a restaurant supply shop. read more
Good pizza! Basil is strong in their sauce and as a topping! Housemade ranch is delicious, strong dill flavor! Breadsticks are thick! If you're picking up your order, know that it's on the left side! Almost walked straight into a bar trying to get the pizza. The seating area outdoors is a combination of the bar and the pizza place, so it was a bit confusing if you're not familiar with the area! read more
