Outlaw pizza has been on my list of places to check out. Today I was in and around their neighborhood. Thought I would grab a pizza to go. Easy to find. Decent parking lot. And a gorgeous mural on the outside wall at their entrance. I walked in, sign says seat yourself. I sat at the bar as the booths were all set with plates, and I was just 1 person ordering to go. Sat at the bar. Looked over their menu. Decided on a "build your own" pizza. I got a 14 inch pizza, which is plenty of slices for me. I added sausage, black olives, and jalapeños. Chatted with the bartender, Juan. We talked about San Diego, as we both used to live there. Mexican food, and where to find good Mexican food here in Texas. Juan shared a few of his favorite food truck Mexican food with me. So now I'll be adding more to my list. Supposed to be subtracting from my list, not adding. Sigh. 70 more places to try.

Solid pizza spot! We ordered delivery & got a medium hot honey pepperoni pizza. It was a good size for two people. We ended up finishing the whole thing lol I personally prefer my slices just a bit thicker but my husband loved it. It was good, had that nice sweet and savory flavor profile. I wish it was a bit cheesier but it was nice that I didn't feel too gross or heavy after eating it though. I also liked that the pepperoni wasn't too salty.

Outstanding pizza! My husband and I are big fans of pizza, salad, and wings, and I'm glad to say this spot checked all of our boxes. Our server was attentive and very polite, adding to the overall great experience we had here.

It's Father's Day! We decided to stop in to celebrate :) We were sat right away as it was a little empty. This was already a big plus for us considering it's a holiday. We ordered the Brisket Lasagna, a half pep/half mushroom pizza, and (not pictured) the hot honey lemon pepper wings. I couldn't take a pic of the wings because we ate them all upon arrival lol. The wings were smoky, tender, and so flavorful. I'm not a spice lover but these wings had the perfect amount of spice. The brisket lasagna was delicious. Spicier than the wings, but still so yummy. The brisket was tender and went so well with the sauce. Even though I was fighting through some sweat, I haven't had a lasagna this good in a long time. The pizza was good. Our 3 year old, who eats like a bird, scarfed down a giant slice! The staff were so friendly, efficient, and made us feel so welcome. Deff worth a visit if you're in the area

6/5 stars for NY style pizza. Come for the story of their sourdough crust, stay for everything else. Jess was a master behind the bar. Fun cocktails with some delicious twists. The Outlaw Martini was a table favorite. Mark nailed the service and recommendations. Perfectly timed food for a table of 5... Caesar was exceptional, Meatball Trio... could have easily eaten 2 orders. Mozz sticks, huge and stretchy... marinara, order some extra for pizza crust dipping. Pizzas were perfect, tried traditional cheese, pepperoni and a GF everything pizza... (best I've had in Austin). Great music, relaxed vibe. Looking forward to more. Come check out this new hot pizza spot!

Outlaw Pizza serves a nice thin quarter inch crisp-with-a-drip pizza in a elevated casual space; plush chocolate booths around the perimeter surround a nice sized bar with purple, black, and gold, swivel barstools. Exposed ceilings with sound proof insulation panels keep the acoustics vibing. Large corner window panes and hot yellow lights drop a bit of an industrial feel; it's a nice yin yang balance throughout. Five flatscreens throughout keep you current on your sports. The single ply tp in the single sink bathroom keeps it real. I tried the vodka and cheese slices. The vodka slice had the perfect amount of subtle but noticeable heat. NGL, I kept looking forward to the next bite. Never had a vodka slice like that. Watch out- that's an addicting slice. The cheese was aite. I had it cold and after the vodka (slice) so I will have to test it properly next time. Texture hit right I ate it all up, no crumbs. Their crust is powered by a 50 year old sour dough starter. *Chef's kiss* A full bar and full menu with pasta and more will be available in the coming weeks to round out your meal. Doors are on Rutgers St. Delicious new addition to the ATX pizza scene!

We ordered a variety of things, the mozzarella sticks, Caesar salad, wings and pizza. EVERYTHING was so good. The service amazing, the place itself is easy to get to and the vibe is chill. The crust was sooo good and I really love this place cannot wait to try other things

Pizza and salad here are pretty good. Not my favorite pizza in the city but still good. Food prices are fair. Service is good. Lot of seating indoors. $7 beers for the mostly local selections is a bit robbery. But overall, not bad

Outlaw Pizza was really good! I loved the sourdough crust. It had great flavor and made the pizza stand out. Definitely a solid pizza spot I'd go back to.

The BEST CEASAR SALAD in Austin by far! The pizza is phenomenal, the caprese salad didnt last but maybe 5mins on our table it was so good. The lasagna pinwheels and meatball flight were unique and delicious. The service is amazing and the waiters are so sweet and on top of their game. North Austin definitely got an upgrade with this spot.

Food wonderful. Service excellent. Bartender ran it like a boss. Seems like it's gonna be great addition to the neighborhood.

The food is amazing; the service, not so much. They are completely lacking in staff training, and it shows.

Seating is limited enough that you start mentally drafting backup plans the moment you step inside. We ordered the lasagna pizza, which tasted good but was noticeably undercooked -- soft enough that it felt like it needed another round in the oven. And the "lasagna" angle? I'm still trying to decode it. Everything listed as the lasagna components were things a normal pizza already has, so the theme didn't quite land. Overall: good flavor, but execution missed the mark for us. Pro tip: order it to go so you're not stuck awkwardly hovering for a table.

So after all eventful volleyball game at the Moody, my handsome guy and I treked over to Home Slice. The parking situation was madness, but we somehow lucked out and snagged a good one. And although, it seemed like it might be crazy inside, we were seated immediately. Maddie was our server and she was incredible. She was helpful, took our order, took our supplemental order, brought us a second side of ranch when a fly decided to nose dive into ours, and checked on us just enough. The salad was spectacular, as usual. There's just never enough. Solution: order two. The garlic knots were a little low on garlic, but tasty nonetheless. Combined with the marinara sauce, just delicious! I got a slice of the white pie with spinach which is olive oil, ricotta, mozzarella, garlic, and spinach. The crust was crunchy in all the right places and the toppings were tasty. I'm hungry just thinking about it again. This Austin staple is always a win for me.

When I pulled up, the parking lot was packed, and while I was able to get a spot that just opened up, lots of people seemed to be walking up from street spots. There are indoor and outdoor dining options, but given the heat, I opted to get on the brief waitlist for indoor seating and enjoy interior! The hostesses have a fast system and take your phone number, so the line moves pretty quickly. From what I could tell, HSP is a favorite among families, date night goers, college boys, girls night, you name it! I ordered a slice of pizza and garlic knots, admittedly, I wasn't starving. But if I get the chance to come back, I saw other tables get wings, cold subs, and calzones that also looked great! Home Slice Pizza is a neighborhood knockout!

Cesar side salad was simple and's could have used a bit more cheese....and the pizza was good. Only downside was the pepperoni left a lot of grease which made the crust a bit soft. The restaurant is open, good seating, the display of pizza in the case is very appealing and appetizing. Its decor is well done. The pizza has fresh ingredients and tastes great. Crust is perfect. The lasagna was good but I would rather stick with the pizza. Just my taste. I did have the cannolis and compliments to them- they were authentic. Creamy, crispy shell, and the pistachio and chocolate chips were very good. My favorite. I suppose my only complaint was the pizza and lasagna were a little cool. It should have been a little warmer. The other issue which I hope they take note and move right away is the trash for plates and silverware. It is directly next to the fresh silverware and takeout boxes. That caught my attention and it's not a good place for the trash. Definitely plan to come back, it is worth coming and trying all the food items they have. I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.
