Full disclosure Detroit style pizza is my favorite and only tried the Detroit style. This place reminds me of Bonci I had in Rome although Detroit style but similar to Sicilian pizza. Nice individual preventable slices ready for you to pick and choose from and are quickly reheated back to peak flavor and texture! We went to hot honey harvest, pepperoni, meat lovers and mushroom spinach. The hot honey harvest was absolutely and gives a run for best Detroit style pizza I had in Austin. Close second to VIA313 Cadillac. The cheese blend Kizza has got a bit of brie like taste it's really elevates the pizza. Oh also get the rosemary fries, crispy crust and nice herby fries with aioli! Kizza Pizza is definitively the best pizza in Cedar Park and Leander area. The do a unique style of detroit pizza that is the crunchiest, airy and buttery pizza i've ever had. Take that and match it with a single slice option where you and the people you are with can choose different toppings. Lastly, although they lead with the detroit style, do not sleep on the round pizza. This round pizza is excellent. Excellent ingredients and cooked perfectly. Good new york style pizza. Smallish place and I can only imagine as word continues to spread this place is gonna start to get regularly crowded. We need more of these style and quality places in CP/Leander. Dropped in on a Thursday around 5:45pm and it was completely empty. Service was quick and easy - order at the counter and pay, take a seat, and they'll bring your food out to you. The space is on the smaller side but they have a few tables and you can also takeout. You can order pizzas whole or the Detroit-style by the slice for about $6 per slice, depending on which one you get. We ordered 6 slices and some fries and overall everything was pretty tasty. I enjoyed the mushroom pizza the most. We got the scallion ranch and pickled jalapeños on the side for extra. My only regret in this review will be that I'm sorry we haven't been in sooner!! Kizza Pizza is phenomenal. We loved everything we tried. I only managed to get a picture of the pepperoni pizza we ordered, but we also tried the sausage and peppers, the mushroom taleggio, a make your own round pizza, and the rosemary garlic fries. Wowed at every bite. Seriously - I personally order the mushroom taleggio and it was amazing. Perfectly crispy crust, super generous portion, and absolutely delicious toppings. My life might be changed. Service was super friendly too. The restaurant is nice and clean, and had good seating. First time here at Kizza Pizza. There are some seating but appeared to mainly be for pick up/to go orders. They have a good selection of Detroit slices available to choose from, or you have the option of whole pizzas and standard round crusts. Since this was our first time, we chose slices to try. We were impressed. Staff very friendly and helpful. The slices were probably equivalent to 2 slices of via 313 Detroit pizza. The crust is airy, light and crisp which we enjoyed. The only thing I wasn't crazy with was the sauce, it's simple and not much on the pizza but I understand that it would create soggy slices waiting to be reheated in the oven. Prices vary on types of pizza and everything else is ala carte. We will definitely be back to try other options. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. Just Sweeet Heat Pepperoni Square Pizza and Mom's Favorite in the Round but when it came out it just calls to you. It was the most vibrant and I have to say beautiful pizza I have ever seen. I don't usually take picture of food anymore but had to pull my camera and hope the picture does the pizza some justice. Not only does it look beautiful, it tasted so so good. The topping was light and the crust was so soft and fluffy. Great combination and everything just works well together. Hubby and I was quite please with the pizza this particular time. To be honest, the pizza taste the best when it just comes out and to enjoy it right then. I have had it taken home to enjoy, to go whole pizza, to go pieces as we only want a few slices. Kizza Pizza was clean and delicious. I was a huge fan that you can order by the slice as well as the full pizza. They also sell canned beers to enjoy. We started with the fries and they were HOT which always makes the food taste better. The garlic wasn't overpowering either, it had a great taste so we ate these within 10 minutes. I love me some Detroit style pie and nice to have a non-chain shop that sells these, especially with interesting topping combinations! They mostly just open for dinner but was able to snag lunch with a friend here on Friday for lunch. Fairly empty though, with plenty of seating. For most people not going for a full pie, they have some premade ones they reheat to order, which is not a bad thing by any means. I ended up trying two of the slices which I haven't seen at other shops, which were the Mushroom Taleggio and the Hot Honey Harvest Square. I really liked the creamy, earthy vibe on the mushroom square. Sweet, savory, umami vegetarian joy. The hot honey harvest was good too, my first time actually having hot honey on pizza, though it was definitely more like salad on a piece of bread than pizza vibes. I've heard a lot about Kizza Pizza so I've been meaning to visit! The restaurant is smaller than I had expected, but coming on a Wednesday evening, we were able to easily secure a table, with plenty to spare. My favorite type of pizza is Detroit style, so I already knew I would love the pizza here. And I was not disappointed! I like that you can see what the pizza looks like before you actually choose what you want. And they go and take what you want to be heated up. The edges were so crispy, the dough was soft and chewy, and the cheese was hot and delicious. We tried Vodka - I know this is a fan favorite, and while delicious, it wasn't necessarily my favorite. It didn't have much texture. It was very saucy and then the ricotta was also super soft. So it was very one note. The flavors - yum but there was no crunch, it was all just sauce. Sausage and brocollini - a really good choice if you want both veggies and meat. The texture of the brocollini was pretty nice but overall probably my least favorite of the four we tried. Still really good though! Mushroom and spinach - I think this one was my favorite of the night! So mushroomy, so cheesy, and so pesto-y. It was flavorful, it was saucy, and yet there was a good balance of things to chew too. Hot honey harvest - this one was also a top contender for me, but was only just beat out by the mushroom and spinach. However, this one was my friend's favorite! This place is great. It used to be Milano Pizza, but I don't think they did all that well. I'm happy that Kizza took over. The inside hasn't change much at all. It is clean, organized, and fairly comfortable. Staff is effective and efficient, but I wouldn't say friendly. Their menu is pretty limited - pretty much just pizza and drinks. They do have 1 side which I have never tried. They have soda, beer and wine in drink refrigerators and have quite the variety. Pizza itself is served by the slice or whole pizza. The his place is a hidden gem in Cedar Park! We tried it for the first time recently and were very impressed. The shop is located in a small shopping strip off Bell and easy to drive by without noticing. Turn that car around though! We got the Burrata and Hot Honey Harvest. Be still my pizza loving heart! We are always down for our weekly pizza nights on Friday as a family, and today we were able to swing by as this place is a close drive from our home in CP. Tucked away in an older cozy nook of the plaza, parking is abundant and easy to navigate and manage. The interior is clean, well lit and allows for a group to indulge in an easy meal, or slices for take out. Service is order at the counter or place an order online for your large full pizzas, which the menu is hearty and with both Detroit style and traditional round style, the topping options are plenty for all offerings for what you want to eat on your pie. I'm a sucker for sampling via ready to go slices and the fact that Kizza had plenty of options to choose from, but the one I had my heart set on for tonight was sold out, Mushroom Spinach, so it's just a testament to how popular and tasty their slices truly are on a Friday at 3pm! Oooh, Cedar Park now has the best Detroit-style pizza in the Austin area. I said it! Kizza Pizza has won my heart and all 5 stars with their perfect crust and high quality topping combos. Our family recently implemented a monthly "Try a New Restaurant" week night, and this month our pick was Kizza Pizza based upon their gorgeous Instagram feed. I knew if it tasted anywhere near as good as it looked, we'd be happy. Location is a non-descript strip center off Bell (aka Old 183). As non-CP residents, we thought it was a little tricky getting in there, but dinner-time parking was no problem. Ambiance is utilitarian, nothing fancy, but there is plenty of seating. Likely most folks are ordering to-go or delivery anyhow. You can do that here: https://order.tbdine.com/pickup/54001/menu Walking in the door, you see the ready-to-serve Detroit pizza by the slice behind the glass at the counter. You can order these for about $5 each; they'll be reheated for you and served to your table. Otherwise, you can order whole Detroit (12x18 inch, 8 slices, $30-$34) or round NY-style pies (12-inch, $14-$18) with toppings of your choice. We chose an assortment of slices, 2 per person, plus an order of their garlic rosemary fries with scallion ranch dipping sauce. Restaurant was very clean and the staff were friendly. The cashier explained that we could order whole pizzas or pizza they had on display behind glass. We chose the premade pizza that was thick and cut into large squares. We ordered 4 different pieces so we could cut them in half and share. That gave us the opportunity to each try 4 kinds. The crust has a great crispy texture with a good flavor. All of them were good but my favorite was the Hot Honey Harvest. I'll be visiting Kizza again soon. Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. Somewhat busy, most of the tables were taken but we didn't have to wait long to order. There were a few options not out when we arrived, but they seem to be good at restocking I tried the vodka, hot honey harvest, and mushroom taleggio. I enjoyed all of them but thought the mushroom was a clear favorite. Biggest positive going for them is the crust, excellent crunch, though it could use a bit more cheesiness. I also appreciate the wide variety of slice options they have. With all that said, I do put them on the lower end of Detroit style overall. The bread used as the base was a bit odd, it had quite a lot of deep holes in the way the free bread at some Italian restaurants has, which I thought didnt work compared to the traditional style. Most of the toppings were good quality but the ones that weren't really stuck out. The cheese blend in particular came across as fairly rubbery, though the Gorgonzola used on the hot honey was quite good. Some of the other choices just didn't add much flavor wise, the squash and Brussels sprouts felt like the pizza equivalent of a run on sentence to hit the word count on an essay in school Overall, I think they're worth giving a try to see if their style hits better for you, but I don't think this will be a repeat spot for me read more

Went here on a Sunday with Meg T. We are both pizza snobs and had read a bit about Kizza Pizza and decided to give it a try. It was more than 3 stars for me, but not quite 4. It's known for its square Detroit-style pizza, but also offers NY-style round pizzas. We went for the Detroit-style option, which greet you in the case when you enter. There are 8 topping combinations and the slices look denser than they actually are (which was a positive in my book!). I tried the meat lovers, which includes pepperoni, fennel sausage and bacon. I think it could have used a bit more meat in terms of quantity of each. I also tried the vodka (I'm a sucker for any vodka sauce option on a menu), which packs heat in a good way. It's a no-frills casual place with free parking available for Kizza Pizza and other businesses in the shopping center. I am glad I tried it, but since I'm not really in the area, I'm not sure that I would go out of my way to go back to it. read more

($4.50 each) They have a bunch of awesome flavors, ranging from traditional (pepperoni) to more unique (hot honey and veggies pies). Also have some sides like fries and other items i look forward to trying. They serve beer and soft drinks too by the can. My son and son in law visited here today as first timers, but not last timers. The crust on these pizzas are totally amazing and no other pizza place can match it !!!! My son in law and I had the Sweet Heat Pepperoni, and it was Delicious !!! I also tried the Hot Honey Harvest, but I personally didn't care for it. I did take a bite of my son's vodka habanero and it was very good, but if it had some meat on it, I believe it would've been delicious. Pizza was really good but the wait time took away from the experience. I like how they had interesting pizza flavors and they don't skimp on the toppings. Operation can really use some improvement. Inside looks clean and there's a bunch of seating. I came here a bout a month ago on a Saturday night and it was tough watching how they operated and I think that's a huge reason why a long line was formed. I originally arrived here midday but when I arrived, there was a sign on the door that said they will open at 4pm or 5pm (they also provided a reason but it's been while so I can't recall) Some shops have an Instagram where they would post a story if they have special hours that day due to various factors. I checked google, yelp, and their Instagram prior to arriving and there was no indication they wouldn't be open. So I wish there was a more accurate way check business hours. I'll point out some inefficiencies I saw just in case this could help the management. There were 3 people working at the front and 1 person working at the back. Person A is responsible for entering orders on the touchscreen, prepare the pizzas in a tray, sometimes bring out orders, sometimes check on customers despite a long line. Sounds simple but the order in which he did those things could be improved. He enters the customer's order on the touch screen, then brings out an order to the customer before completing the order. Then he comes back to finish taking the order where I pay. As he's preparing the order, he's forgetting what the customer ordered, so he looks over multiple times or ask the customer again what they ordered. It would be more efficient if they had just prepare the order as they are asking the customer what they wanted and then ring it up. Have the customer pay and let the customer see on the ipad what is being charged. The current set up doesn't allow the customer to see the order and pay. Person B is preparing the dough and making the pizza. Person C is prepping the heated pizza so it's ready to go out to customers and he sometimes bring it out to customers as well. Person D is in the back cleaning and comes out to bus tables. Pepperoni was good but I wish they had spicy pepperoni. The hot honey harvest was super good and unique. I highly recommend that one and would come back for it. From arriving to getting food on my table, it took 45 mins. I hope they can be more efficient so they can get more business and continue to succeed. read more

My husband and I were craving pizza so we decided to stop by Kizzza Pizza. They have round pies and square Detroit style pizza. We got the pepperoni, sweet heart, vodka, and spinach and mushroom pizza. My favorites were the sweet heat and the spinach/mushroom pizza. You can tell they really use high quality ingredients and the crust is to die for. I read online it is sourdough and it is next level. We will absolutely be back! read more

After the whole controversy with Via313's labor practices, I didn't really know where to go to get some Detroit style pizza. I'm very pleased to have found Kizza! It's nestled in a little strip mall in Cedar Park. Friendly service and a small business that I'm happy to support. We couldn't decide what to try, so we got several different slices and liked all of them. Their flavors are very creative. Our personal favorites are the mushroom spinach, sweet heat pepperoni, and the hot honey harvest. We love the drizzle of hot honey on some of their slices. The dough is made fresh daily; it's the right thickness and crunchy on the bottom. Everything you want in a Detroit style pizza. There has been some recent hype on social media, so some days they run out early, but give them some grace. They are run by a small hard working team that doesn't compromise quality. They are worth it! We'll be visiting again very soon. read more

Don't pass up this place if you are visiting round rock or austin. Their pizza is amazing! We ordered their pepperoni, sweet heat pepperoni, vodka, and mushroom spinach. All of them were great, but the one that stood out to me and I wish I ordered another one was the sweet heat. It was so good. The vodka is a popular but it wasn't for my taste. The place is clean inside with lots of seating. They offer drinks as well. Workers were friendly and the wait wasn't that long. We went on a Wednesday night. read more
