    Awesome Chicken Salad

I had the best ever Chicken Salad served at Nikis Pizza. It's fresh romaine lettuce with a mouth watering marinated Chicken. It's thinned out and warm. Not cold and preserved. The dressing is the best along with a pita bread on the side. Omg, it's the perfect salad. Not old ,lame, nor unappealing. It's what a salad should be, a delicacy in your mouth. I highly recommend it.

Today I had pizza for lunch at Niki's Pizza. Friendly service. Clean and nice place to have lunch and relax. The pizza is good and crispy. Thin New York style which I like my pizza thin crust. I recommended Niki's Pizza for simple pizza lovers. Thanks and blessings

We decided to go out and get pizza somewhat close to home. This place is in a small strip center next to a Jimmy John's sub shop next-door. I read through many of the reviews prior to coming here and what no one mentioned was the fact they do not serve any alcoholic beverages. They do have some fountain drink choices, but that's about it. We got here on a Friday evening at 6 PM and were surprised that we were the only customers in the place which meant all the tables and the floor were clean. There's no table service here, you order at the counter. They do have some premade pizza pies in a glass case ready to go if you want a slice and a salad. Our group of four decided on the butcher pizza, sausage mushroom, pepperoni calzone and two gyro sandwiches. The calzone was much larger than expected, and the pizza was generously filled with toppings. The gyros were pretty average, but the greek salad was fresh and crisp. To be honest, the food exceeded expectations for what we paid. The fare was good enough that it would probably have us coming back again or at least getting a pizza to go. Photos below for more insight.

Passing through Austin and decided to stop at Niki's Pizza. What a great surprise. The atmosphere was relaxing and the service was fast and friendly. I had a slice of cheese pizza and it was very good; simple with a tasty crust & cornmeal covering on the bottom, which I love. It's hard to find a place that serves good pizza by the slice anymore. They have a diverse menu offering pizza & Italian & Greek dishes. I would definitely come here again and highly recommend it. And - to top it off, the gentleman at the counter asked if it was my first time, and it was, and he gave me the slice of pizza and a drink 'on the house.' Who does that anymore!! If you live near this place - come here. If you don't come - anyway. You'll enjoy it.

Very pleased. Stopped to get out of the rain and found this gem. Hidden in a plaza he wanted pizza and I had the Greek. My meal was the comfort food I needed. The roast was perfection along with the flavors of the veggies and rice.

I had made a reservation a few weeks prior for our anniversary month. When we sat at our table they had a cute little greeting card from the staff wishing us a happy anniversary. Pro Tip: Just make a reservation way in advance and if you make it you make it. Even if you don't think you will be able to make it. If you can't go just cancel with enough advance. We started with the Meatballs that pair wonderfully with their Italian Bread. Flavorful and plentiful dish and def get the bread! Next came the Bone Marrow & Tuna Crudo. I will say though for some reason after we finished our Meatballs it took them quite a while to bring our dishes after that. Bone Marrow was divine and also paired well with the Italian Bread. Tuna Crudo was not what I expected because it was warm and I was expecting it to be cold. But it was good and I love eggplant. Our main dish was the Agnolotti Alla Piemontese. From the description it seemed to hit all the boxes since we are meat lovers (contains braised beef & pork shoulder) and truffle. I love me some truffle. When we ordered the Agnolotti Alla Piemontese I asked him does it have a lot of truffle flavor because I love truffle. He said oh we can definitely add more truffle if you would like when the dish comes out. When the dish came they had the chef come shave an extra truffle on the dish. I honestly could not taste the difference. Was not enough truffle flavor for me. Note the extra truffle is an added charge. Overall lovely experience. If we return we will need to try some different dishes to give it another try.

I do my homework across my google map tracker cross referenced to yelp as well as my insights based on his affinities and price point. I send him a unique set of spots any hopeless romantic's partner was sure to love. He goes off script & selects Intero ( IG: @interorestaurant ). I had never been there so I made it my mission to get there first for data. I promised him, all I would send is a "fuck yeah" or "nah!" My solo feast included the sourdough focaccia ( house made ricotta, wildflower honey, thyme ), charred cabbage ( hot mustard, parm, chive oil ), steelhead trout tartare ( tomato, caper, leek aioli, carta di musica ), rigatoni ( smoked rabbit, mushroom, red wine, horseradish cream ), 14oz wagyu beef tenderloin ( grilled romanesco, spring onion, walnut, chili ) , and finally one of each of their in house made artisan truffles. Why not! Everything here was truly exceptional, full flavored, hyper local, I ate too much. The charred cabbage was the best I've ever had taking the reins from Din Tai Fung's sautéed cabbage in Vegas. Romanesco is one of my favorite veggies, perfectly paired with the flawlessly cooked temp of the tastiest cows I've ever eaten. After all of this meeting the creator and chocolatier of the truffles and chocolate bricks was icing on the cake. I expressed my gratitude, and just how much I loved the spot. All of the staff laughed when I said my buddy was coming in days later behind me. I showed them the "Fuck Yeah!" text message. I love Austin. There's never a dull moment, and I can't wait to be back, cowboy boots and hat in hand for the 2026 Rails World Conference. Tickets drop tomorrow at 10am CST. It's why I HAVE to workout every day!

After giving our keys away we walked into what is a beautiful outside area at Juliet's. It's a nice mix of feeling like you're in downtown Austin but also not. We went inside to request two seats outside and this is unfortunately where everything fell apart. After being seated all the way at the very corner of the restaurant near the entrance, we didn't receive water for 15 minutes. In fact, we had to ask for water, as well as silverware, from a person who was cleaning a table- not a waiter. We didn't order until about 30 minutes after being seated. We noticed that others around us who were dressed nicer for the occasion were receiving service but we were not (jeans and a nice top as opposed to a dressy outfit). This is less of an accusation and more of an observation. It took another waiter noticing that we had not been served to come over and take our order, and that was 5 minutes after we had to flag down a busser to ask for water. The flip side of that whole first part is that the food was pretty good. We got complimentary table bread (after we asked for it since it never came before our main meal) that was soft and went well with the olive oil it came with. For our entrees we got the shrimp scampi and chicken parm. The shrimp scampi was fantastic and light with creamy and bold flavors in-between. The chicken parm was maybe the largest chicken cutlet we've seen given out at a restaurant. Not only was the cutlet massive but it was delicious as well with a nice, light breading and cheese on top. The spaghetti alongside it was a nice touch but this was a true chicken parm entree as it should be. We were offered a complimentary dessert as an apology for the miscues before we ate but turned it down (still good of them to offer). Leaving was easy as the valet was very attentive and quick to get our car. We wish we could say our time at Juliet's was perfect because the setting and food are very nice and a fun change of pace from the surrounding blocks. However, it's difficult to overlook the mistakes made from the jump. We noticed that another table next to us was also experiencing bad service and looked unhappy enough to leave in the middle of their meal/ We're always open to having good food again so hopefully the next time we're here things are different. Just an unfortunate bittersweet taste to what otherwise would have been a fantastic meal.

As it turns out the coupon was only good during the week and it was Saturday. No big deal. I ordered a Meatball Sandwich, my friend an Italian Sandwich (after asking our excellent young waitress about it). She brought out two very tasty types of bread with olive oil for dipping. The sandwiches came with Garlic Fries. The Fries were delicious but unfortunately mine were lukewarm. I certainly could have asked for a fresh portion, but was hungry enough not to bother. That's the reason my rating wasn't 5 Star. Because the restaurant was pretty empty on this Saturday afternoon, I feel the Chef shouldn't have sent out fries that weren't piping hot. The Meatball Sandwich however was marvelous. Freshly made, tasty meatballs with sauce and cheese on their focaccia bread was a real treat. I took half home and ate the rest for dinner. All in all, I'd come back here again as the food was excellent as well as the service.

Somebody forgot to make golden brown cutlets so they served an overcooked slab of pork chop underneath an assortment of pickled vegetables over a bed of pasta in red sauce. If the traditional Lasagna is too time consuming to make then don't fake it with a casserole that the old Irish Lady makes. Good lasagna is made with layers of pasta, rich sauce, gooey cheese made with ricotta, mozzarella and parmigiano cheeses and loads of ground beef and sausage.
