Best cheesesteaks in the area! Have been back many times. Their milkshakes are seriously the best over any Milkshake I have had ANYWHERE!

It was an average cheesesteak at best but priced like a premium offering. A little too greasy for me and a roll that did not stand up to the work it needed to do. Plus $6 for small fries and a canned drink is outrageous. To top it all off it's a food truck in an outdoor beer garden so not even providing atmosphere or climate. Finally, a suggested tip structure starting at 22%; I paid your food price bit where I have an option I feel fine pushing back. To reiterate, it wasn't bad but I do not understand how this rates 4.4 after 80 reviews. read more

Absolutely phenomenal cheesesteaks here! My husband and I have had a Philly, in Philly, at one of the top ranked places and we both agree these are up there with what you'd get in Philadelphia. Absolutely thrilled the business kept getting recommended to us til we finally tried it. This is of my splurge / cheat day favorites now. Yum!!! The food truck is next to a bar so children aren't allowed there after 8pm. There are usually sports playing on a big screen TV outside. There is covered outdoor seating and it is well kept. I didn't eat the cheesesteak on sight when I took the photos and I was really hungry by the time I got home, so no photos of the Philly, maybe next time. read more

When your food is ready, the numbered pager will be buzzed. The presentation was neat and you can tell the food is about to be good. It wasn't a long wait time and that's a plus. My fries were tasty as well. This is a good truck beside a bar and another food truck. There is a screen to way watch as sports and plenty of tables. The sitting area was nice and had plenty of trash cans to put away your trash. The bathroom was clean as well .My cheese steak was so well balanced with the veggies. AMAZING flavor.. came here for some good pastrami sandwich and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Ordered the Regular size pastrami sandwich added hot pepper. We also ordered their regular size Philly cheesesteak sandwich added mushroom and bell peppers. The bread they use is soft and not chewy at all. The pastrami sandwich was amazing. Flavorful and just the right amount of ingredients. The main thing was that the pastrami itself was not dried at all. The Philly cheesesteak was flavorful, juicy and cheesy. I ordered the American Boss Cheeseburger with small fries, and I was honestly impressed with the portion size. The portions for a "small," fry was good! I was surprised. (I actually started eating before taking a proper photo because it smelled that good .) The burger was flavorful, juicy, and made fresh! My fiancé ordered the Philly cheesesteak and really enjoyed it as well. He didn't order it as a meal, if he had, our total probably would've been close to $40. Since I ordered a meal and he didn't, our total came out to $27, which is pretty reasonable considering this is a food truck. As most people know, food trucks tend to run on the pricier side, so this falls within that typical range. Overall, great flavor, solid portions, and a satisfying experience. After an evening at city council, we decided to do a family dinner at this spot. Man, it was a great decision! I had the turkey boss and I love that they had some pickled onions on top. Great flavor, very fresh and a reasonable cost for this sub. We had a couple of lemonades that the family devoured. My husband had a cheesesteak and that was an ideal sandwich for him as well. A brief follow up to praise the team at Boss Cheesesteak for immediately reaching out after I posted my recent experience which seemed out of character. At the end of the day mistakes happen and everyone has an off day. The folks there refunded my money even though I insisted on a credit. Clearly they care a lot about the business and customers. Pretty nice place. Not just a typical place where food trucks are at. No, this place has it all - complete with dining tables, TVs, and a play area for kids. Oh... and they have a Corn Hole set!!! As for The Boss Cheesesteak truck, everything was great... except the price. Staff is super welcoming. Area around the truck was clean and neat. The Buffalo Chicken Philly was delicious. And the lemonade was thirsty-quenching. However, $30 for one meal is not worth it. Especially, for someone who simply needed the meal To-Go. I had the original Philly cheesesteak today delivered from Uber Eats. It was my first time trying this establishment and I was pretty happy with my order. My friend and I visited Friday for lunch. Maybe we came on an off day. I was expecting a traditional Philly cheesesteak.....what I got was a slop of slightly cheesy beef. I did enjoy the fries, but they were just regular old fries - no punch of beef tallow like advertised (must be a blend and not purely fried in it). The massive television that was a big selling point on coming here was covered up, which was a let down. And to top it off - the bathroom did not have soap. I'm not sure if I just went on an off day, or what. I was pretty excited to try Boss Cheesesteak after reading reviews. I was a little taken aback that the combo with a blueberry lemonade was over $25, but the reviews made it sound like it would be worth it. Where to start? Should I start with the fact that the bag barely made it back to my car before the bottom fell out from the extraordinary amount of grease, leaving grease all over my car seat. I ordered a philly with mushrooms and peppers (no onions), and cheese. There were very little mushrooms and peppers on the sandwich, very disappointing. The cheese was bizarre, it was unlike any cheese I've ever had on this type of sandwich and instead of being melty, it was rubbery. The biggest issue though, that kept me from eating my $25 lunch, was that the sandwich had a strange sour taste to it, indicating to me the meat may not have been good. I ate half of it and decided not to eat the rest. And about an hour later, my stomach was not at all happy. Not a good look when you are teaching a class. The fries were just okay, I'm a fresh fry fan so take that for what you will. The lemonade was tasty, but there was a lot of blueberry flesh in there that was weird. I visited during a weekday for a lunch with my daughter. This was my first time and it won't be the last!! I had the Philly Cheesesteak and it was delicious!! The bread was toasted and the steak was cooked with lots of flavor and lots of it. My daughter had the smash burger and said it was delicious too!!
