As someone with an egg allergy, I really appreciated that most of their ice cream is egg-free. There are only 4 flavors that contain eggs, and they are clearly labeled, which is a huge plus. The ice cream itself is delicious, creamy and not overly sweet. We ordered a small with two scoops: gulab jamun and pistachio almond saffron. The gulab jamun flavor even had chunks of fried dough balls, and the scoops were very generous. We also tried the shahi falooda, which includes rice noodles, falooda ice cream, and rose syrup. The staff was super helpful and let me know that their jello contains eggs, so I skipped it. The drink was refreshing and not too sweet. Portions are plentiful, everything we tried was yummy, and the staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Ked's Ice Cream, Waffles & Crepes in Leander, TX serves faloodas, 60+ ice cream flavors and crepes. The best way to describe a falooda is a cross between ice cream and a milk shake. My hubby had a pineapple ice cream in a waffle cone with real pieces of pineapple. This ice cream alone was delicious. I had the falooda and it was nothing like anything I have had previously - an explosion of flavors and textures in your mouth. I loved the firmness and crunchiness of the almond pistachio ice cream. The softness of the gelatin and translucent noodles (yes noodles!) were enjoyable to eat. The falooda also has basil seeds, which added a different texture. I didn't know basil seeds existed until today. It is great as a foodie when you experience something totally different and it is so enjoyable to eat. Harry, the owner, was super personable. You could tell he took pride in providing delicious Ked's treats. According to Harry, we were the first customers for the hard opening. In addition, there is plenty of free parting. This would be a great place for a birthday party. We were time constrained today due to being working stiffs. We definitely will be returning... can't wait to try the crepes.

I came in for one scoop of vegan ice cream, and instead I left with a whole lot of Italian Ice... a Carrot Mango pint and a special September Sundae made with Electric Watermelon! The sundae had Electric Watermelon Italian ice (tastes like a jolly rancher) mangoes, pineapple whip, chamoy and Tajin. Oh it was pretty too...My tastebuds were so ready for that party! They gave me a lid for the sundae but I finished it before I made it home-- while driving. Not sure what I'd tell the officer if I got pulled over. "Ma'am, are you drunk?" Vanessa was very informative and very helpful in helping us decide what we wanted & telling us about their products. We ordered two sandwiches, a smoothie, a juice and a six dollar bag of chips and our bill was $76. That's a lot of money for two sandwiches, a smoothie, 1 juice and a bag of chips. We could've gone to some fine dining restaurant for $76. The juice was exceptional, my son liked his smoothie. The sandwiches were good. They weren't amazing, but they were good. They were very overpriced! So as for atmosphere and customer service this is an exceptional place to be. I just wish the prices were lower because if they were, I'd come here every day! Ordering from Fatima Bakery feels like preserving a beautiful tradition…read more It reminds me of the way families used to order fresh bread from the market, and someone would bring it home still warm, made with care, and meant to be shared around the table. There is something so special about receiving real, handmade bread that feels connected to home, community, and slower living. The sourdough was absolutely beautiful -- golden crust, thoughtful scoring, fresh flavor, and clearly made with intention. You can tell this is not ordinary bread. It feels personal. I also love that each week there is something new to try. It makes ordering feel like a little weekly ritual -- fresh bread, seasonal surprises, and the joy of supporting a local baker who is carrying on something meaningful. Highly recommend Fatima Bakery for anyone who loves artisan sourdough, local food, and the feeling of bringing something truly special home.
