Salmon onigiri

I got a guava matcha latte and it was quite watered down so I couldn't really taste the matcha flavor. Boba was also just okay. The salmon onigiri was good though, I might come back just for that! But probably won't get drinks from here anymore.

We were so excited to try Junbi while visiting Austin. The matcha is the best quality we've had! My husband went with the Golden Peach Matcha Latte and I found a favorite with their Dirty Matcha Blended. We also love that they have soft serve which was perfect for our kids! The rice balls are also made to order so you're getting them fresh -- we tried all the flavors and loved them! The place felt welcoming and cozy -- it was the perfect spot to catch up with our friends and cool down from the summer heat. The people there were accommodating and ready to answer questions since the menu can get overwhelming. I do love the option that you can build your own drink. We can't wait to go back the next time we visit Austin!

Solid matcha spot! Been to the Richardson location before and it was pretty good so I knew the 30 min drive from Austin is gonna be worth it. (this is in Cedar Park) I came here the second day they opened. I should have come the day before but didn't know about the BOGO :( While they are known for their matcha drinks, I decided to get hojicha (roasted green tea) and it was very fragrant. I'm satisfied with the sizes too. The interior is so cute and they have a Miffy section selling teas, teaware, etc.

Strawberry matcha latte

I went today, bummed I should have gone tomorrow. Grand opening special. I got the strawberry matcha latte and like it says, the matcha is smooth. I opted for less sweet and it had plenty of sweetness for me. I will say at $7.25 a tad steeper than most of their competitors but for the quality it's not bad. I would go back again, just not regularly. The server at the front is still getting used to the menu and didn't realize the whole milk alternatives are $1.25 extra, which i think is a bit much to exchange out for milk. But the interior is like other Junbi stores I've been to. I wish it were in a different store location, it's a little hard to see from the street and feels like a tight location parking wise. Overall not a bad matcha store.

A hand is holding a tall, clear plastic cup filled with a layered bubble tea drink featuring green, yellow, and dark tapioca pearls at the bottom. The cup has a plastic lid and is branded with the 'Jungli' logo. The background is a plain yellow wall, emphasizing the colorful beverage.

A great addition to Cedar Park/Leander area. They offer fairly good quality matcha unlike other boba tea places. I ordered with mango this time and it was a nice balance of sweet with 50% sweetness and less ice. Folks were informative and advised given the mango already has sweetness, I can lower my sweet to 50% which was on point! Boba had perfect texture. I will come back to try just Matcha tea next time without any added flavors to really get the taste of matcha.

Inside - The image shows the interior of a cafe with high ceilings and yellow-painted walls. Wooden tables and seating are arranged throughout the space, with some tables in the foreground and a bench along the right wall. Pendant lights hang from the ceiling, providing illumination. The counter area in the background has digital menu screens mounted above it, and a customer is placing an order with a staff member. The decor includes shelves with products and a small potted plant on the counter.

I have been waiting for this place to open since I had it in Houston. Their matcha drinks are pretty good, and I am glad they are finally open and nearby. Since I had my caffeine intake already, I decided to go with the Mango Refresher. I like their pieces of fruit in the drink, and it isn't overly sweet for me. For those who usually don't like sugar, you might ask for less sweet. The inside is kind of small. They do have a few tables along the right side of the store. They are still working on getting the computers up for self-ordering on the left side. Service is pretty fast; it didn't take more than a few minutes for me to get my two drinks.

I'm glad that Junbi opened up in Austin. When I'm craving a matcha drink, I can always rely on Junbi to satisfy that craving. I enjoy drinking their Cold Strawberry Matcha Latte. It's both light and refreshing, perfect for a warm, summer day. I get less ice with regular sweet and it's the perfect combination for me. Service is typically quick at this location. You can order at the kiosk or at the counter. There is plenty of parking as it's located in a small plaza.

Beverages and Soft Serve I tried several drinks: the ceremonial matcha cold brew, strawberry chrysanthemum tea, golden peach matcha, and the strawberry vanilla matcha swirl. The ceremonial matcha had a deeper umami flavor compared to the regular matcha, which I really enjoyed. The strawberry chrysanthemum tea was also a standout -- I've always liked the floral notes of chrysanthemum tea, and the addition of strawberry purée gave it a pleasant natural sweetness. I asked for 0% sugar, and honestly, the purée provided enough sweetness on its own. If you prefer less sugary drinks, I'd recommend trying it that way. The golden peach matcha was good, especially after mixing it well, but it's not something I'd go out of my way to order again. As for the strawberry vanilla matcha swirl, it was just okay. The ingredients sounded amazing -- strawberry jam, vanilla and matcha ice cream, matcha powder, coconut flakes, and aloe -- and I was expecting it to be more exciting. While I could taste the matcha, the vanilla and strawberry flavors were subtle. I did enjoy the crunch from the coconut flakes, but the ice cream melted quickly, likely due to the aloe and its juice at the bottom of the cup. Given the price, I wouldn't recommend this soft serve. Build-Your-Own Beverages They offer a customizable drink menu limited to loose tea and fruit-based beverages. You can choose your base (tea or juice), milk, add-ons like jellies, purée, sweetener, and adjust the sugar and ice levels to your preference. Ambience and Amenities The WiFi password is displayed on a glass panel near the counter. Seating is limited -- one table for four and about four two-person tables (if I recall correctly). It can get busy, so finding a seat might take a bit of luck, especially if you're planning to hang out with friends. The interior design and color scheme are bright and uplifting. I gave Junbi 5 stars because there are a few items I genuinely enjoy, especially the ceremonial matcha and the strawberry chrysanthemum tea. That said, not everything on the menu feels equally well thought out. Some items sounded better in concept than in execution. So I'd recommend taking a few minutes to read some reviews or look through photos before ordering -- it can help you make a more satisfying choice.

Junbi is a pretty standard boba shop. The menu is extensive and has a lot of drink options. There is also merch and collabs that they do too. It is bright and welcoming when you walk in. The baristas are nice and the place is clean! Definitely a great place to get a sweet treat or drink!

The image shows the interior of Junbi, a business specializing in matcha products. The wall is painted yellow with two arched niches; one contains a green moss wall with the text 'junbi REPRE DARINGLY,' and the other has a neon sign reading 'I love you so matcha.' Shelves hold various matcha-related items, and a tote bag with 'KYOTO' hangs on a hook. The space includes lighting fixtures and a portion of a television or monitor in the upper right corner.

At Junbi, you can order on a screen or at the counter. The menu is large. I asked the difference between the matcha latte and the cold brew matcha, friendly and helpful service. I got the mango matcha latte, but unfortunately they only offer whole milk or oat milk. My preference is almond milk so i opted for oat. My friend got the seasonal peach matcha latte with whole milk. Very cute presentation of the drinks and the color of the matcha looked perfect. I tried hers and mine and the fruit flavor barely came through. It was cool to have chunks of mango in the drink though.

Junbi is an amazing treat if you are a matcha lover!! The inside is sooo cute and I love their matcha drinks- they are a good size and customizable (milk, sweetness, add-ins). The soft serve is creamy and light and the perfect sweetness- highly recommend! The staff is really nice and I love their tiktoks haha. Highly recommend!

Strawberry Jasmine tea

Pretty solid boba shop! Super cute and they have a pretty good selection of drinks. I got the Strawberry Jasmine Tea. The tea flavor was good and it wasn't very artificial flavor tasting. However, this is definitely on the pricier side for boba. Toppings are $1.25! They had ice cream that looked yummy, so maybe next time I'll try that!

the service is good here! I got to try a sample of a jelly I never tried before and the matcha was light but bold at the same time. first time trying matcha since it hit the scene and I'm impressed. Prob won't get it again but I'll love to try their other drinks!! sooo many options - more of a refresher gal so I'll come back for that and the soft serve the spot has a nice aesthetic to it as wellll and a moss wall so

Your head spins a bit trying to pick the ideal snow cone flavor. In the end we went for mango smoothies. Quite honestly, snow cones drip and we did not want sticky fingers. OMG the Mango smoothie was so good. It was thick, yet not too thick. The mango flavor was very pronounced. It was soothing going down your throat. The island décor and island music created a "don't worry...be happy" vibe. The staff was super friendly. We chuckled when Nathaniel was trying to give the reason why the smoothie shop was called Bahama Buck's. He would give a reason and his co-worker would say no. We went through several iterations laughing each time. It really does not matter in the big scheme of things. We had great mango smoothies! Until next time...
